10/12/2025: In some month the restaurant change a lot. The last time that I went (6 months ago) was a completely disaster. But when I returned I was pleasantly surprised, the menu change. I will return

22/11/2025: If it were possible to give a –5 rating, that’s what they would deserve. Recently went there with my son — the Caesar salad took about 30 minutes to prepare, it looked nice but tasted bad, and the bread was moldy. In the end they just said “sorry” and brought different bread, and we still paid full price... I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone — for 22 euros you can eat something much better in any other café.

16/05/2026: Disgusting food, spice bag was the worst thing i've ever ordered from anywhere and i've eaten in some dodgy spots. Chips were sweet as if sugar syrup was poured on them, no spice, no veg, etc. Chicken was practically non- existant, just lumps of fried batter really.

25/04/2026: Absolutely rotten chinese. I don't know why anyone would eat this food. Everything was laced in sugar, even the spice bag. The chips were sticky and had a weird after taste. That's a not a spice bag.. Everything tasted the same. Bland, sweet and weird.. Avoid this place. Filth.

21/04/2026: Called in with a group of friends a few weeks back and, for the most part, it was an enjoyable night. The staff were welcoming and the venue was buzzing, which definitely added to the overall atmosphere. That said, the music didn’t live up to expectations. PlayHouse were on, but the DJ’s attitude came across as dismissive, and the transitions and overall mixing were fairly poor. One of the group had been there recently and recognised the set almost track for track, which was disappointing. Given Cork’s long-standing house music scene, the standard felt underwhelming. The crowd and energy were spot on, but the music itself fell well short of what it could — and should — have been.

21/03/2026: My aunt had her going away party tonight, we had to leave our tables because a family of travellers seem to drink here regularly and we’re aggressive to us. I’m still disappointed about this as it was our last time together. Edison was never like this before

24/08/2025: I waited nearly 20 mins for a €4 Cappuccino which was basically a cup of hot milk.I do not like very strong coffee but this had no caffeine in it at all it was horrible.3 staff but only one Barista making the coffee.very few of the customers were buying food so one member of staff had very little to do so why would he not help out with the coffees as the Que waiting was big and customers getting frustrated yet just one (slow) girl making the coffee.Wont be back

24/08/2025: No other way to describe this place other than a complete disaster. People waiting over 10 minutes for coffee. So many people waiting that other people arriving think they are joining the queue but they are only joining a waiting area for coffee. Orders are shouted out but there's so many people waiting, often for the same thing that nobody knows which order is theirs so 4 people hear "Cappuchino" and all make a move at the same time. The staff dont care so it's just a free for all. The pastries are average and do not make up for this fiasco.

31/01/2026: I went to eat at this McDonald's and it was a real disaster. The food looked bad, the line was long, and the staff were completely disorganized. A suggestion for the manager: hire people with good resumes, not friends of friends.

19/08/2025: What a fine dining experience! Truly Michelin-star level if the star was made of rotten meat. We only went in ‘cause nothing else was open, and wow… what a mistake. My mate ended up sprinting to the toilet with explosive diarrhea, while I was busy trying not to puke my lungs out. Honestly, I didn’t know food could double as a biological weapon. One star, but only because Google doesn’t let me give negative numbers.

02/10/2025: Wanted to try here the other day but a number of the items I wanted to order had 9=Nuts for allergens recorded, I wanted to see if I could order the meal anyway but remove the element that contained Nuts but staff couldn't tell me which element of the dish had Nuts. Partner still ordered and enjoyed the meal. Please train your staff in something so important like allergens 👍

06/03/2026: The most expensive subway I’ve ever been at, very stingy with ingredients and everytime I buy a sandwich there it’s a different price (I get the same sandwich everytime) I’ve gave up with them, €17 for a half assed sandwich with one type of meat a drink and a half bag of crisps

06/03/2026: I ordered a product on 11 Dec 2025 and I am still waiting, I did not expect to get it before Christmas but the length of time I’ve been waiting is farcical. After many phone call I was told on the 18 Feb 2026 that it would be with me in 10 business days! Still waiting so rang again today the 6 March to be told it would not be in the UK warehouse till the 11th and then with me after 10 more business days. This is an absolute joke of a company and I’m sorry I ever had any dealings with them. Nit once did they ring or email me to say that the order would be delayed. I had to make all the calls to their so called Customer Service. I had to get an electrician to install the product and he is still waiting after 3 months to be able to finish my bathroom. Never again. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

06/02/2026: I ordered a product last week, on Thursday. As the company is based only a couple of counties away, I reasonably expected delivery within a day or two. When it didn’t arrive on Friday, I assumed it would come on Monday. It didn’t. Nor did it arrive on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday … and here we are on Friday with still no sign of it. I rang to query the delay and was then told the product was actually out of stock and had to be shipped from the UK. This was never made clear at the time of ordering. Had I known it was coming from the UK, I would have ordered elsewhere … or simply used Amazon and had it delivered quicker. This isn’t the first time this has happened, and it raises a genuine question about whether stock is actually being held at all, or whether orders are effectively being fulfilled after the fact. Anyone can drop-ship … that’s not what customers expect when ordering from an Irish supplier. When I suggested that the website should clearly state when an item is out of stock, I was told it had been “flagged with IT.” Unfortunately, that’s of absolutely no use when you’ve ordered something you genuinely needed and were led to believe it was available. I am all for supporting Irish businesses … I make a point of doing so … but this kind of service makes it very difficult. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and excessive delivery times mean this will be the last time I order from here. I would strongly advise others not to assume next-day or even same-week delivery, regardless of what the website suggests.
