09/10/2024: Consistent quality in food. Staff are always nice and service is fairly fast

26/08/2024: Food is very quick, people at the counter are always nice, the pricing is fair and the food is decent.

27/10/2024: Lovely place for a pint, Willie junior and senior are very welcoming. Theres a Dart board or pool table and when the fire is on it's hard to leave the place.

10/11/2024: Food is nice! Atmosphere was Good. But the guy taking order/serving was young lad... it looked like I came collecting some social welfare or something and I murder his family..... he gave absolute no interest over, threw me a card machine to pay and was absolutely rude. It was just genuinely my worst service I ever had. We were 3 of us all of us sat down after paying and said same thing at same time.... Food is 5/5 Food portion 10/10 Atmosphere 9/10 ( found it odd having sticky tables once we swapped was okay ) Service 3/10

29/10/2024: Staff were so lovely and approachable, and my food was ready so quickly. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined for us and all other patrons in the restaurant (29/10/24 at around 6pm) by the manager needlessly shouting at the employees, who were doing their best to manage (and quite a good job), without much obvious leadership being shown. Will definitely not revisit the Douglas store due to this

19/10/2024: The food was very tasty, and the staff were lovely. Yummy yummy.

28/10/2024: Likely the worst McDonald’s in Ireland. Dirty regularly. Bins over flowing. Tables left uncleaned for ages. Then the food. The orders are frequently provided with something missing? Pay for a sauce you’d better check you got it before you leave? Assume you got serviettes? Check because they are frequently not given. If your kid dares want the book option with their happy meal then you’ll still get a toy. Broken seating. Tablets for kids gone. Play area for kids gone. Oh and if you select eat in the machine offers table service but of course they’ve hidden the numbers so they can’t be arsed to provide. Then all food comes packed for takeaway which is a green issue. There is McDonald’s France using reusable items and here’s McDonald’s Ballincollig handing out unnecessary packaging. No separation in the bins either so assume everything goes to landfill. Oh also if you dare to need a tray you have to ask and mass confusion ensues. Highly unusual request to want a tray to get to your table. Just bad.

26/10/2024: Toilets are very dirty. Not good for a restaurant. Needs a proper manager.

02/10/2024: Great place, amazing staff and management, epic food and cheap beers and always unbelievably clean, without a doubt I high end establishment

18/10/2024: Very good food and quality. Only reason a 3 for atmosphere is the place was currently only open for delivery and take away at the time.

09/08/2024: The staff and management were very friendly but the food was served in takeaway containers. The ingredients were fresh but it wasn't great.

05/09/2024: Unfortunately the resturaunt has gone downhill in recent months / years. Service has gone extremely slow, large chips are now the size of a small chips. Hard to understand that all dinos are the one chain when the difference between service and quality of found is completely hit and miss

04/09/2024: Lovely quick stop here to pick up some fish and chips. Food was fresh. Fried Chicken was a nice surprise. Curry Sauce is a must. Great service from the staff. Very kind and helpful in explaining the menu and checking for allergies. Will be back if I'm ever in town again.

10/11/2024: It was very quite when we were there at 8.30 of a Saturday night, so the food and service were quick and efficient. Staff were friendly and tje premises was very clean, typical for McDonalds, chip went cold very qui kly

24/08/2024: One word to describe Hot Box: Comfort Food! I wasn’t sure about ordering from Hot Box at 3 a.m., but with limited options, I decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did! The loaded nachos were just like the picture, with a generous portion that hit the spot. My only tweak would be removing the red onions and tomatoes—they didn’t feel right on nachos, so I picked them off. Other than that, everything was spot on, including the hotdog and the rich, creamy milkshake. I’ll definitely be back for more!

10/08/2024: Not a bad place but it feels like a dangerous area at night, food wasn't something that blew me away either

31/10/2024: Terrific chipper, very consistent loses one star because online ordering is a mess and if your card doesn't go through first time (which can happen for no reason) you lose a lot of time queuing up and having to order again, especially at peak times

17/10/2024: The food is delicious, the staff are lovely, the shop is clean, the service is fast, the price is reasonable for the food.
