The best restaurants in Dublin

28/06/2025: Love this place, we happily order take away and they have a lot of vegan options for me as well, lots of desserts that I rarely find because of my allergies, so quite happy to see that. Burgers are very nice and they often have good offers. Hopefully we will be able to eat inside soon.

13/05/2025: One of the best there is! The stoned cheeseburger and garlic cheese chips are my go to, and well worth the money. Any time I go in the staff are always friendly and full of chats, my favourite after work treat

09/06/2025: Full-time, one-year Master of Science in Cloud Computing at the National College of Ireland. As an international student with prior experience in cloud computing, I had high expectations from this course, expectations that, unfortunately, have not been met. The overall course delivery has been disappointing. Most of the lecturers teaching cloud computing lack both effective teaching methods and depth in subject matter. The assessment pattern is heavily focused on pen and paper exams, which require students to reproduce content word for word from the course materials. Creative thinking or expressing answers in your own words is not encouraged and is often penalized. This completely undermines real learning and practical application, which is essential for a field like cloud computing. Even though students invest a lot of time and creativity in their projects, the evaluation gives disproportionate weight to exams. Projects, which reflect hands-on skills and real understanding, are sidelined in favour of rote memorization. Thesis selection has been a painful process. Many students, including myself, have been pressured to choose topics preferred by the lecturers or ones they are already familiar with, rather than being allowed to explore areas of personal interest. This has caused significant frustration and stress among the student body. Many students have even failed their thesis due to lack of proper support and restrictive guidance from supervisors. Some lecturers, particularly those handling Machine Learning modules, are dismissive and unapproachable. They insist that only the exact content from their material be reproduced, disregarding alternative explanations or deeper understanding. This rigid mindset hampers student growth and discourages independent learning. To be very honest, pursuing Cloud Computing at NCI has been a regrettable experience. The program is not aligned with the demands of a future-driven technology like cloud computing. The lecturers, rather than enabling learning, often act as a barrier. I do not recommend this course to international students, especially those seeking practical knowledge, academic freedom, and proper support during their studies.

05/07/2025: Everytime you order from this mcdonalds they forget items from your order. Today we ordered pancakes and an egg mc muffin. We paid for both online but we only received an egg mc muffin. Tried calling the mcdonalds restaurant so we could get the pancakes. Called 3 times, no answer. Really poor customer service and quality control. In the end we had to call just eat and they gave us a refund, which is better than nothing but I was honestly hungry and mcdonalds should just give what you order.

19/06/2025: Collection order. The food was stone cold. €3.50 for 1 spring roll smaller than my index finger! Do yourself and your pocket a favour and go somewhere else, theres better options for Thai food just across the road. Absolutely shocking rip off and 0 quality.

14/05/2025: I had the Pad Prik Heang. It was nice but I was surprised that it cost €17 because it's €14.99 in other Camile restaurants. My daughter has Singapore noodles and they were lovely but again were €17 instead of €14.99 as in other other outlets. The server was very nice and helpful.

11/07/2025: Had such a good time at Burger King Applegreen Santry! 😍 The customer service is second to none…not forgetting the service was super fast, the food was hot and tasty (that beef burger is unreal 🔥🍔), and the vibes were on point. Loved the music playing in the background – made the whole experience feel even better 🎶✨ Tons of space to sit and chill, super clean (like, spotless 💎), and you can even watch planes go by while you eat ✈️🌤️ The staff were so nice and friendly too 🥹 10/10 would recommend – already dreaming about my next visit 💖🍟

20/02/2025: Extremely rude and food never came. I called to place an order. The man on the phone the whole time was rude from the start and uncooperative. I asked a simple question on the size options and the price for a kebab tray. He instantly was annnoyed and said “do not have time for this go order online or something” and hung up. I called again after a few minutes and this time they took my order. After 2 hours of waiting I realised they were never going to come. Never came across such a rude and disrespectful place.

29/05/2025: Probably the nicest coffee shop on UCD campus opening to the public. Coffee is decent & cakes/pastries above average. Good spot for UCD visitors to take a coffee break.

05/07/2025: Update: this used to be the best chipper on the southside but they've increased their prices substantially and their food quality has gone down. Delivery charges up by 50c and garlic chips up by 40c. I cannot describe what I received as garlic chips - it was a coagulated mess of greasy re-heated chips mostly bits from the bottom of the fryer with a dollop of greasy bottled garlic sauce. Maybe they're under new management and this is a cost cutting measure. Kebabs are now 70% lettuce with very little meat. I hope the seagulls like it. Inedible. Food always hot and freshly cooked. Good value and delivery is quite fast.

02/06/2025: Not sure what the staff’s problem was, but I called at 4:49 today to place an order for collection. The guy who answered sounded like he didn’t want to be there. I started giving my order item by item, but he stayed completely silent — it felt like I was talking to empty air. I asked, “Sorry, did you get that?” and he just snapped, “YES,” in a really rude tone. I then asked him to repeat the order, because from my own experience working in restaurants, I had a feeling he’d gotten something wrong — and sure enough, he had missed an item. Before I could even ask to pay, he hung up. I called back and was told to just pay on collection, even though I’ve always paid over the phone (usually with the friendly girl who works there), as my housemate usually goes to collect it. At that point, he called out “Christy!” — presumably his colleague — and I just hung up before he came back on the line. If you hate your job that much, maybe it’s time to leave. Hey Capri owner(s), it might be worth checking in on what’s happening with your staff/standards. Based on recent reviews and experiences like this, you’re at risk of losing loyal customers.

25/01/2025: Regret wasting 7.50€ for the worst doner kebab I had in life. Instead of the commonly used Spicy gravy, they poured a sh*t load of tomato ketchup and plain mayo. And for salad, there was no Onion, no Tomato, no nothing but some leftover cabbage. Felt nauseous after having the very first bite 🤢. Will never buy from here again.

13/05/2025: Its one of the best kebabs I've ever had. Thank you so much it was delicious 😋 I only ate half cause it was huge and kept the other half for later. I will definitely order again to try everything. Quick delivery and affordable place.

12/05/2025: No stars 🌟💯😡always orderd from there rang at 8.15 orderd my phone, time I come home from kids clubs food should be see there at my door.. Half 9 no food and it was cancelled by them!!!! Rang and asked wer is my food said oh see driver is new abit of rain today is 12 May 2015 tiny bit of rain and he can't drive he texted me 2 times for address I never texted him back, I rang him have screenshot and he didn't answer as I don't have credit to txt him and it's up to the resturant to give him my address... All because the roads are wet he can't drive and cancelled my order.. Never order again and waiting around ages not worte it... Wen u can order from else we're and get ur food 👌
