29/06/2026: This bag of slop,with the black hair included,will set you back 14 euro and 85 cents of your hard earned cash these days. I phoned to complain about the dirty hair but they didn’t seem too bothered. Even without someone’s hair in the food,it’s not worth your money. 6 maybe 7 pieces of meat for that price,ridiculous. It was handed back

30/05/2026: Ordered food at 9:30 didn’t arrive till 11:15, the food that arrived wouldn’t give to my worst enemy, the chicken could have gone through a brick wall it was that hard and the pizza had given up on itself and was sliding down the box and Jesus Christ the chips I don’t think the poor souls that went through the famine would eat these, fish was dryer than the desert and the only good thing about this order was the coke

27/06/2026: Too stuffy and the food was mediocre at best. Half a lobster for 60 euros is insane. There were only 6 people in the restaurant and the waiters were still auctioning off the plates- how hard is it to keep the orders straight for a table of 2? Ordered an old fashioned for $15 and it was one ounce at best. Save your money and go elsewhere.

06/04/2026: Absolutely amazing experience here, the food was that good I ended up getting another 2 starters and dessert after already eating a starter and main course. Never done that before but couldn't help myself. I had the mussels, calamari and crab salad, main dish was the chefs special which consisted of lobster, prawns and scallops, for dessert I had the orange cheese cake. Everything was absolutely amazing! A fabulous selection of wines as well to top it off. Definitely would highly recommend to everyone as there are dishes on the menu which are not seafood and they do serve bottled beer. The service was absolutely tops, all the servers were so polite and attentive, cannot fault anything at all.

30/07/2026: Today me and my friends went to esquire’s in the square Tallaght. We spent 13 euro on kids pancakes . When our order was dropped off at our table they were completely different pancakes . They were the dunnes mini pancakes, they make me feel very sick and I was uninformed they had changed the pancakes . If they had said anything I would have been completely fine and ordered something different, we then tried to get a member of staff’s attention to ask if they had definitely changed the pancakes we were ignored multiple times and had made eye contact with staff members they had indeed seen us but didn’t acknowledged us , about half an hour later a staff member came over saying they had changed them , I hate to complain and I’m sorry that I am but I felt really upset about the situation in a whole . 25/11/2025: As a donut fan and lover, I found these too dry and bland for my taste. If you do a blind taste test, you won't know what you're actually eating. I'll try them again another day to give them another chance.

29/05/2026: I went on a quiet lunch period. Service was quite friendly and despite the location the prices were actually quite good relative to other places in Dublin. Salmon salad was perfect in every way and was quite tasty and desperately needed after a long flight to get there. Service was very friendly and careful and they did check up on me several times and poured my water.

03/07/2026: Man who came was very rude about how much money was given and didn’t believe it was the right amount,very rude to my kids who answerd the door.

31/05/2026: I ordered from this restaurant 2 times,each time they messed up my order and brought it around 2 hours late,when calling to complain I was told my details would be passed to the manager,when he didn’t call me and I called the store back myself,the manager told me he never heard anything about it and could not do anything to help me,very poor management

10/07/2026: I ordered from Deliveroo. Their rider (From Apache) said that the food was stolen and said I can't do anything. Later Deliveroo said that the store manager said that nothing was stolen. Even after calling the restaurant manager personally they promised to let Deliveroo know what happened and then didn't. Did not get my food or my money. The most horrible service and the most untrustworthy management. Shame on stealing money from customers.

13/06/2026: Yesterday I ordered garlic bread along with pizzas, of which garlic breads were really salty taste! (Even the pizzas were bit salty but manageable)When contacted the Lucan village shop, the attendent apologized and gave the phone to manager. Surprisingly he turned out to be quite RUDE and demanded that they dont add salt and needed the pieces to be checked ie bring them back to the shop (really!). The mannerism of the manager was really out of this world in a RUDE way. Poor fellow did not know what salty is and tried to confuse me! Well, we've been ordering from this shop for that last 10+ years now. Time to say GOODBYE...very bad management! Additionally want to mention that they dont wear gloves while spreading the toppings...yuck! Ah well, my final comments to the shop ; fairly sure this would go in the dust bin and will be forgotten, BUT, I am just doing a fact check on the shop after 1 day of consumption. Good luck to those who are still subscribed to this joint...

13/03/2026: Absolutely dreadful spice bag. There was more salt in it than anything else, like a crazy amount of salt. Very little chicken or onions no chilli's. The chicken balls are 85% dough with a sliver of chicken in the middle. This place wasn't bad a few years ago but has really, really gone down hill.

11/07/2026: Lack of respect for delivery drivers. Orders are never ready and they don't even offer a justification.

19/06/2026: Everything was amazing, from the choice of food and quality of it, to the 2 members of staff that treated us with the best service we got in Liffey valley for the 2 days that we were there. Special thank you for going above and beyond for our orders and we liked it so much we came back twice. For the 2 staff that worked there on Thursday 18th June 2026, a massive thank you!

16/05/2026: I have ordered a chicken fried rice on Uber for delivery as I was very tired. First I have waited for the delivery an hour and a half for it to get to me. Once it's got to me my order was completely wrong. It was prawns and beef fried rice. I'm allergic to prawns. I have called them up. They offered me another fried rice with some freebies. They say they send me a fried rice and prawn crackers. Rice was so overcooked that my dog didn't even want to touch it and it was so tasted as that my hunger just disappeared from all this disappointment

28/06/2026: Hello, I was at this place and we weren't too excited. I'd like to start with the positive. We got free water. In Ireland, that's probably not a given, but as a Czech tourist, I was pleasantly surprised. We also got some crackers. They looked like breast implants and they weren't very good. Now for the bad. The prices were absolutely crazy. For a completely ordinary meal, pieces of chicken with rice, which had a real value of 6-8€ at most, I paid an absurd 16.5€. I don't understand why it cost so much money. The only thing that was "luxurious" about the meal was probably the cutlery. My friend had fried noodles with pieces of beef, also for 16.5€. I can get the exact same meal, one for one, in a bag at Lidl for 3€ max, and that's an exaggeration. The quality and taste of both meals did not match the price. For people who want to eat here I would recommend Subway for €9. It tastes better and you will feel much better mentally. I am really frustrated and I really do not recommend it. 04/06/2026: Order: chicken chop suey with fried noodles, no celery. Price: about €13.80, so fairly average for this type of takeaway. Neither cheap nor expensive. 6/10 Portion: standard size. Nothing special, but enough to fill you up. Food was ready in about 15 minutes, which is reasonable. 6/10 Packaging: plastic containers, simple paper bag, plus plastic carry bag. No napkins, no cutlery, no chopsticks. Very basic. 5/10 Fried noodles: taste was good. There was a bit of fried onion in them, but thankfully not too much, and it was properly fried rather than raw, which is definitely a positive point. 8/10 Main dish: quite a generous amount of chicken, which is a good point. Vegetables were cut into very large pieces, much bigger than necessary, but at least they were cooked properly and not left raw. Unfortunately, the biggest problem by far was the EXTREME OVERUSE OF SALT. The whole dish was so salty that it was CLOSE TO INEDIBLE. That alone ruined most of the meal for me. 3/10 Overall: 4/10. Average price, acceptable portion, good noodles and enough meat, but the HEAVILY OVERSALTED made the meal very hard to enjoy and brought the rating down heavily.
