The best restaurants in Dublin

21/10/2025: My friends and came here tonight to have a few drinks and we were immediately greeted with suspicion… we’re American studying abroad in London and visiting Dublin on our break from university. We presented our IDs and the woman who asked us asked us very hesitantly how we know each other and we told her. She left and then came back and told us (very politely) we had to leave because our IDs looked fake. We’re two 21 year olds and a 20 year old. Our IDs are very real. We aren’t sure if it’s because people can’t seem to find the birthdate on American IDs or if it’s because they all looked different (we’re from different states). But either way, if you have an American ID you may want to look elsewhere.

20/10/2025: The most masterfully crafted cocktails!! Our server, Shane, was absolutely delightful. He gave recommendations that surprised us with their great flavor!

05/02/2026: My boyfriend and I have been to Sidecar twice now and it’s been a great experience both times. The cocktail menu is brilliantly thought out and every drink we’ve had here has been fantastic. The service is always perfect, James and David were with us today and were so pleasant, they’re lovely lads, extremely friendly, went out of their way to treat us well and are very knowledgeable mixologists. We strongly recommend the place, very warm atmosphere and a great relaxing getaway. Will be back many more times for sure.

04/10/2025: Great place to stop for breakfast! We had the full Irish breakfast which comes with tea/coffee and toast. Fast and very kind service.

04/10/2025: We were looking for an authentic Irish breakfast and we found it. The place is simple, but neat and clean, the service is fast and friendly. Due to its location, it is mostly visited by locals. The Irish breakfast was very delicious, we also got a large pot of delicious tea. The prices are friendly for Dublin. I can only recommend it.

17/03/2026: Ordered Spicy Thai Fried Potato and tastes really well. Definitely recommended. Across all the Thai restaurants this will be on top.

01/03/2026: Lovely place. Staff are so nice. I was curious about the protein options in the lunch deals and whoever was helping me was so helpful and sorted me with a Prawn Pad Thai that was lovely. I would like more prawns, personally, but I understand that this was a smaller portion. I would also have liked more prawns because they were really, really well cooked! So I'm just greedy. Seating area was limited but I imagine this is a take away-orientated spot so it's no biggie. Nice people, nice food!

04/03/2026: Was delighted when Keshk re-opened and somehow it’s even better than previously which I loved too. Always consistent and great food, externally prompt and friendly service with staff who go beyond to make you feel very welcome always. Highly recommend.

01/03/2026: The Food was very nice her. It's a BYOB restaurant, Bring your own Wine or Beer. This can make a difference to the night out. Great idea.

16/03/2026: A gorgeous and great value dining experience. The staff are very attentive and the food is well thought out and presented. A real treat for a vegan like myself, and my non-veggie partner also thoroughly enjoyed it. Perfect for a special occasion.

14/03/2026: We had a fantastic experience at Glas Restaurant! The plant-based fine dining here is absolutely top-notch — every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. It is a bit on the pricey side, but honestly, it was totally worth it for the quality and creativity of the food. We loved everything about our visit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable plant-based dining experience.

21/09/2025: It’s really nice. It’s what Irish Chinese used to be like if I could say anything it’s that when they make the special fried rice the meat inside needs to be cut into smaller pieces cause as I’m trying to eat it with a spoon. I now have to look for a knife to cut the big pieces but other than that, it’s great

07/01/2026: Update: adter a few more visits I am writing a short review. I am more of a coffee quality than vibes person, but Brew Lab is in my opinion the best coffee shop in the area- and the staff are a huge credit to it! To add, it’s the nicest and most consistent americanos I’ve had of about 20 shops in the past year. It’s a shame about the cup volume and some of the discounts were reduced

07/01/2026: We visited Brew Lab on Sunday and it is the best coffee shop I ever been to. My partner ordered a pour over coffee, and I had a chai latte. The pour over was a real experience with the staff member talking passionately about coffee and the different stages. Although I don't usually drink coffee, I tried the coffee he made and really liked it! It's the first time that I feel like I could drink a full cup of coffee as it was fruity and not bitter at all. He also helped my partner choosing a bag of coffee. Fantastic customer service! Unfortunately, we forgot asking for his name, but I think that he was Korean as he translated the name of an ingredient on his phone from French and I believe the language was Korean. Hopefully it will help identifying him and thanking him again :) Also, the lady that made my chai latte also did the cutest latte art on it (a seahorse) so many thanks to her too. We will definitely visit again when we return to Dublin!

29/10/2025: I felt right at home. Service was a 10/10. Food was a 10/10. Just go, you won't regret it!
