The best restaurants in Dublin

24/04/2026: Our last night in Dublin, the last night of a month-long vacation, we came to Pho Kim for a nice dinner. We were greeted immediately and seated. Water brought and orders taken in good time. My husband ordered a prawn curry—which he said he was surprised by just how many prawns it came with (in a good way!)—and I ordered the bun with grilled pork and spring rolls. My appetite isn't ever very large and inevitably, my husband finishes my meals for me. Not this time! I ate every last bit because it was so good. If I lived locally, I'd be giving my business to Pho Kim regularly so I could try everything on the menu. Highly recommend for a chill, nice restaurant with really delicious food.

18/04/2026: Everything was outstanding, we were a group of 6 so we called ahead and booked a table. But if you are only 2 you can probably just drop by!

07/05/2026: Irish feeling! They have live music every day! Good vibe, friendly service! Big recommendation!

02/05/2026: Live music both nights I stopped in and definitely seemed like a local spot. Busy but was still able to get drinks without an issue. One of the best pubs we went too in the area.

05/04/2026: Excellent atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly. The fish and chips were very good. A quiet place for a pint and lunch or dinner.

26/05/2026: Used to come here years ago and not sure why i stopped. Went last week and wow, it’s so good. Some of the freshest sushi around & staff are lovely. Will be back!

17/05/2026: This is far from what real Greek food looks and tastes like. Chicken skewer was too dry and tasteless, same applies for gyros. Quantity is small and prices too high. This reminds me nothing from home.

16/05/2026: I order from here quite often and they always look after you. You can tell they actually care about what they’re doing. The staff are really sound and when you ask for extra, they don’t mess around they actually give you a proper amount spread through the kebab, not like other places. I’ve tried loads of yeeros around, and this one is easily my favourite. Big thanks to the team at Yeeros on Slay Road. Every order is always spot on. Nothing better than getting stuck into one of their kebabs that’s why I keep coming back.

14/05/2026: came to celebrate my wedding anniversary, and what was meant to be a memorable night ended up being incredibly disappointing to say the least. the food was average at best, and the service… the service was nothing short of terrible. we spent most of the evening waiting for someone to attend us and when the server finally took notice in us they were ridiculously rude and standoffish. never coming back.

20/02/2026: A must try if you're in the area.Food was amazing.I had the beef and guinness pie that was on special today and it was excellent,full of flavour helped on by a red wine gravy and mash potatoe.Also had their tomatoe and red pepper soup along side the main course which was delicious.We decided to have desert as the first 2 courses were excellent.Service was very good and staff lovely.A good varied menu to choose from and also a kids menu.My little lad had the chicken tenders and chips and loved it.I have heard that the roast dinner on the Sunday is die for so we will be back to try this.Can't wait for next visit.

07/06/2026: Wouldnt recommend this coffee shop. Sat down with a coffee and a croissant only for them to tell me I can’t use my laptop inside. If I had known I wouldn’t have bought a coffee from here! Never been to a coffee shop before that doesn’t allow laptops. I understand not allowing customers to sit for hours and hours but to ban laptops while enjoying your coffee makes no sense to me.

18/05/2026: One of the best restaurants, the service is more than wonderful. I'd like to thank the best waiter, Jude Balmer (Jay), he provided excellent service. We will definitely be back again.

18/05/2026: I had the most wonderful day here for my little brother’s birthday. Beautiful atmosphere within the restaurant and such such kind staff, particularly Susy, Thais, Jay, and Dani. The food was absolutely delicious also. This is my third time at the restaurant and definitely not my last, I definitely recommend it for a casual lunch or nice dinner. Thank you to the staff for the wonderful experience.

27/04/2026: Fantastic place....all staff were very attentive, food was amazing. Definitely highly recommended it. You get to sit on the upper deck before dinner. You travel along the canel while passing through one lock gate. You then return in a backwards motion to where you started from.

06/05/2026: I went there on a Sunday and got parking outside but there's another car park up the road it's beside a petrol station and shop. There is a few seats outside which was lovely on a sunny day. It was busy though although I got a seat straight away very nice food and cakes and nice coffee, staff are lovely

08/04/2026: Food was really excellent! Especially, the scallops with confit fennel and lamb with cheese filled Agnolotti for first courses and the duck with Black Pudding and beetroot for main course. I also very much enjoyed the cheese for dessert. Service was very attentive and friendly. It was a bit loud, since there was a bigger party sitting next to us. I would recommend this place to foodies any time.

16/06/2026: The food and the atmosphere were great, but the service was subpar. We waited a very long time for our food and nobody came to say anything to us like it'll be ready in a few minutes or there's a delay. Thankfully we had some cool customers sitting nearby us and we struck up a conversation. They seem to be more irritated by us being there than helpful

13/06/2026: Out of all the pubs visited, and the storehouse, they had the best tasting Guinness in Dublin.
