The best restaurants in Dublin

13/07/2025: We had an amazing dinner at this restaurant and were thoroughly impressed from start to finish. We started with soft-shell crab, deep-fried calamari, and seafood dumplings each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. For the mains, the grilled tiger prawns and scallops were cooked to perfection fresh, tender, and full of rich, natural taste. The service was equally outstanding. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive without being intrusive, which really added to the overall experience. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and vibrant.

03/07/2025: Very tasty food! Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious. The chefs put on a spectacular show - I was impressed. It was the best choice to celebrate my birthday. The staff is very nice and friendly. They also gave me a cake and miso soup as a compliment. I would have liked to leave a bigger tip! Maybe next time I will have the opportunity

29/06/2025: Overall, I enjoyed the evening—until it was time to settle the bill. Since I was dining with a few friends, I asked to split the bill and explained to the waitress exactly what I had ordered. She also asked how we wanted to split the tip, which wasn’t an issue. I said I’d pay half of the service charge. At that point, the interaction changed abruptly. The waitress became noticeably rude and dismissive. Instead of helping us work it out, she told me to figure out the total and come back once I had it, then walked off without further assistance. I found her attitude very disrespectful and unprofessional. As a result, I no longer felt comfortable paying the service charge. When I returned with the amount, she pointed me to a colleague instead. I explained to the colleague that I no longer wished to pay the service charge. Although they mentioned it wasn’t mandatory, they still pressed me to pay. At that point, I felt too uncomfortable to explain the full situation—namely, that the previous interaction with their colleague had been unnecessarily rude. I ended up paying anyway, but left feeling disappointed. To me, a service charge—especially one presented as optional—should reflect the quality of the service. It’s not acceptable to treat guests poorly and then expect a tip on top of that

30/07/2025: I was pleasantly surprised to find authentic Thai food in Dublin. I ordered pork knuckle rice, pad Thai with pork, panang curry with rice, and iced Thai milk tea. Everything was delicious. The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, the shop was clean, and the owners were very friendly. I highly recommend this place to my friends (cash only).

08/07/2025: It's a Michelin star restaurant that serves tea in a paper takeaway cup. If it's a Michelin star restaurant I expect better service. They had me at this moment. Food was okayish, except the starter but the main course was not pleasuring taste buds.

20/07/2025: Fabulous meal to top of our Ireland trip. We had the sourdough, cheese selection, gnocchi, calamari, and oysters, and everything was perfectly executed. The service was wonderful.

02/07/2025: Teniendo en cuenta la calificación "Michelin" anunciada, esperaba una experiencia de primer nivel. La ubicación del sótano fue inesperada, pero está bien. El ambiente del comedor principal era agradable. Las presentaciones fueron excelentes, como se esperaba. Pedí Chateaubriand para dos, acompañado de ensalada César, etc. Sólo se sirvió una ensalada, por lo que fue necesario compartirla. La ensalada, sin embargo, estaba excelente. La carne estaba bien preparada a temperatura ambiente, pero no tan tierna como se esperaba. El chef "puso" una gran cantidad de "mantequilla Café de París" encima de la carne cortada previamente, y también en el plato. ¡QUÉ ASCO! Esta mezcla sabía TERRIBLE y era un INSULTO para un buen corte de carne. No pude rasparlo por completo y el sabor desagradable persistió. El servicio fue satisfactorio, pero no excepcional. Habiendo cenado en muchos restaurantes con clasificación Michelin y C&R alrededor del mundo, el Sr. Fox, en mi opinión, fue en gran medida decepcionante.

14/07/2025: Excellent overall! Thank you very much. Yes, a little pricey, but €26 for a multi-flavored cooked dish, beautifully presented and hot in a lovely setting... It's better than a greasy fish and chips at the same price in a restaurant near Dunes, Brown Thomas.

23/07/2025: Came Back and Still Impressed! I've been to Groundstate Coffee twice now, and both times were genuinely good. The mushy toasty and the pastrami sandwich are definitely worth trying - fresh, tasty, and filling without being heavy. Their flat white is smooth and well made, and the chai latte was also really nice. The atmosphere is relaxed but still has a bit of character, and both times the staff were friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. It's a great spot if you want a solid breakfast and a proper coffee without any fuss. Happy I found this place - I'll definitely keep coming back when I'm in the area.

22/07/2025: Have to say Groundstate has the best filter coffee in Dublin 8! Super fruity and really really tasty. Super knowledgeable and friendly staff and with an epic coffee knowledge! Would 100% recommend this place if you love tasty coffee!
