The best restaurants in Dublin

13/03/2025: Really lovely staff and COLD iced latte I’ve had so many room temperature iced lattes lately and this was a pleasant surprise!

07/03/2025: Had a cappuccino and a spinach quiche, with a salad on the side, and everything was great— a perfect place to stop for a lunch, a bit away from the busiest streets.

03/03/2025: Disappointing Experience– Not Worth the Hype I had high expectations for Three leaves given its award-winning reputation, but unfortunately, my experience this weekend was far from impressive. First, the mains I ordered, gobi manchurian and parotta was undercooked as I started eatimg I could taste the raw the chickpea flour/ besan and it was not fried well, i suspect it was just high heat frying by someone not that experienced and the parotta was hard too, which is unacceptable at a restaurant of this caliber. I did not want to raise this at the restaurant with Milly as I didnt want to spoil a nice catch up lunch with our American and Irish friends. To make matters worse, the spice level was also overwhelming, completely overpowering the actual flavors of the ingredients although my spice threshold is quite high, I found the manchurian very very spicy and oily.. Overall the uncooked manchurian and the spice got my tummy upset last night. On top of the not so great food, the prices were exorbitant. I don’t mind paying for a great dining experience, but when the quality doesn’t match the cost, it feels like a rip-off. And not sure, if it's for sustainability but each one is supposed to take a picture of the menu before they sit down, which I didn't find suitable for this day and age when you can access menus with QR codes Overall, sadly Three leaves did not live up to its reputation. Between the poorly prepared food, excessive spice, and high prices, I left feeling disappointed. Definitely not a place I’d return to.

02/03/2025: I passed by their restaurant while walking in blackrock market & the smell of spices was incredible.. you can tell that the place is clean by a quick look and by the smell of the food.. Had beef curry for take away.. it came with rice.. it was so delicious even after two hours (because we were fasting). However, I didn’t like the paneer makhani since it had more sweetness to my taste..

19/03/2025: This is an unexpected treasure, especially for a vegetarian with a nut allergy and someone who cannot eat wheat. The coffee is delicious and the protein pancakes were amazing.

19/03/2025: Cute, quaint place by the river in Dublin. Excellent service and delicious protein coffee and Açaí bowls!

11/03/2025: I was in Dublin for the day with my mate, and after a lot of walking we stumbled across this hidden gem of a place. It was very quiet when we were there but the place was very clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The barman Chris was such a decent guy, he suggested a booth so we could have drinks and charge our phones and he was decent to talk to. The Guinness was bang on. Chris, I highly recommend you and The Merry Cobbler to anyone and on my next visit I won't hesitate on coming back for a drink. Cheers Ps, that's Chris on the right in the group photo

11/03/2025: De passage à Dublin pour le week-end nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce restaurant et de l’accueil au plat tout a été parfait. Le personnel est super sympa. Nous avons pris des burgers et des fish and chips, un régal !

10/03/2025: Very very well located accommodation, a stone's throw from the "Spire", which is literally the center of Dublin. Special mention for Malcolm, very responsive, caring and understanding. Thank you again, Malcolm, for this stay!

23/02/2025: Nice speakeasy for a quiet cocktail with friends. A nice touch is the glasses of water that are regularly topped up.

10/03/2025: Excellent food in a cosy, comfortable and relaxing environment. Great selection of dishes for veggies and meat eaters too. Friendly service too.

08/03/2025: Kari grocery store (next door to the Kari restaurant) Nothing special in here. It's just usual health food store collection. Not much ethnic or Indian groceries that isn't available elsewhere. Mostly Nourish brand selection, clipper teas, Patak's spices, etc... most of which is available at better selection and prices in Tescos and Dunnes. Good health food alternatives would be some store in the city center like Nourish in Wicklow, Health Matters in Steven's Green, Down To Earth in George Street, large Dunnes in Steven's Green has better Nourish options, etc... Only good thing about this particular store is the location. Most of the shelves in the store are half stocked or straightout empty due to either lack of products or less sales. Clearance stores would be better stocked comparatively. Wouldn't bother visiting again unfortunately. P.S. the store doesn't even have Mango pickle, which in my opinion is be available in most Indian grocery stores as it's bread and butter. On the lighter note, the staff was kind, polite and helpful.

16/03/2025: We had such a great experience for bottomless brunch at revolution! Anuka was a phenomenal waitress - we’ve had her several times and she’s always fantastic!

26/01/2025: Definitely recommend making a reservation especially on the weekends as I was just able to nab the last spot at the window bar. Pizzas are generous in size so if you are going solo make a plan for the leftovers if possible!

13/03/2025: Went to Hang Dai yesterday, and it’s 5 stars all around. Incredible food (the cheeseburger spring rolls and the bao buns in particular were amazing), matched by equally impressive service.

20/03/2025: The steaks were amazing, the service was outstanding, and prices were reasonable. Worthwhile dining there.

18/03/2025: The attitude of the blond lady waiter is awfully. Very rude person. I asked about well done steak, she was surprised and asked me “well done?” . I said yes, but the lay said it will be medium well. Please take the option of well done steak out of the menu if you don’t want to serve it. We left almost straight away coz the atmosphere in the restaurant was so uncomfortable

13/03/2025: Very good Asian restaurant With a wide choice of sushi maki and bowls of ramen In addition there are bento boxes to take for a quick meal Quality sushi served with a glass of lemon water Toilets available

08/03/2025: Wow amazing food, the fastest service I've ever seen. Come hungry and don't order as much as you think you'll need as the portions are huge

21/02/2025: Right next to the yoga studio, perfect location for a coffee. Staff is nice, coffee is good, cookies are good.

20/02/2025: Nice little coffee shop, not a big fan of their black coffee as it lacks strength and earthy taste 4/5 for me. However missus was very happy with her matcha latte 6/5 she said. I tried it and it was very good. I kinda miss the little rose petal they put on it though haha

16/03/2025: Great pub off the beaten track, great pizzas across the road. Beer selection has diminished a little, hope its revived for the summer

11/03/2025: A cosy old fashioned little pub. It's like a little piece of country in the city. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and a good place for a quiet chat.
