I also celebrated my 38th birthday there on December 14th. I also want to thank the person who found me a table at the restaurant since I arrived without a reservation. 25/09/2025: Unbelievable pizza but the tatties steal the show, absolutely delicious!!

18/09/2025: We had Deanos wood fired pizza truck to celebrate work anniversary.Pizzas were amazing and staff were very quick too making them for over 40 people.Special sauce and chillie honey were class.

28/03/2026: The atmosphere is great and it had much more space inside that I originally thought. It was a perfect spot to watch a match with my coworkers. Oh and the burgers were GREAT.

22/04/2026: Great experience. Went and got coffees to bring back to the hotel, and then came back to eat. We ended up splitting the Turkish Breakfast 3 ways which was perfect for something light in the morning.

13/05/2026: Only thing I didn't totally love, is it's a very small restaurant, so I felt like I was sitting on the person next to me (not at my table). Food was authentic and delicious. Staff was friendly and it had that family owned vibe which is my favorite!

She was super friendly, good-humoured, and made everything feel relaxed and welcoming from the start. She was always attentive without being over the top, made sure we had everything we needed, and her positive attitude really made the whole experience better. I’m Italian, so I also thought it was really nice to hear that she has an Italian father — it made it feel a bit more personal. Honestly, service like this makes a big difference. Francesca is doing a fantastic job, and I’d definitely come back again because of her. 5 stars C.Z

16/04/2026: We had a wonderful meal: everything was perfect! From the welcome to the food (really delicious and generous portions), and especially the relaxed atmosphere in the evening, accompanied by traditional music... It was fantastic! It didn't feel crowded at all, even though it was full. We really appreciated the emphasis on Irish cuisine, both in the dishes with locally sourced fish and meat, and in the beers recommended for each course. It was so cool; we wish we had a pub like that near us! We were lucky, but remember to book in advance.

30/03/2026: It was a good basic pub for us. People were warm and welcoming. Only pints this time, no eating.

12/04/2026: We had an amazing meal at Glover’s Alley. We did the tasting menu with the wine pairing and loved every course. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The wine pairings were all excellent and the Somm explained everything to us and was happy to answer our questions. We’ve done lots of tastings and this one was pretty affordable and not too pretentious. Perhaps the ambiance could’ve done with a little more attention, but overall a really excellent meal, exceptional service and a really lovely way to spend our first night in Dublin. Would highly recommend.

07/04/2026: It's been a while since I've been, but as I remember I definitely left more satisfied with the tasting menu than other Michelin star restaurants that I have visited. While I was much more of a picky eater when I went (only course I didn't enjoy at the time was a scallop ceviche, however I've expanded my tastebuds since) Price has definitely gone up since I've been there, but recommend going at least once.

22/03/2026: The service was incredibly attentive, especially Declan, who is such a lovely guy and made me feel instantly welcome. The food is absolutely top-notch, all in a beautiful, authentic Irish atmosphere. I'll definitely be back next time. <3

17/03/2026: A superb dinner. Everything was perfectly cooked and prepared. Great job in the kitchen! Our waitress was great and provided good advice and impeccable service. Sourdough, deviled eggs, oyster and beef tartare, fondue, scallop, beef cheek, tuna tartare and duck liver with pineapple

28/04/2026: It was my first time going to a Mongolian BBQ restaurant. Everything was clearly explained with signs. What a fun dinner experience! The staff were great, cheerful, helpful and funny. Unfortunately we went on our last night in Dublin. Otherwise we may have eaten there more than once!
