The best restaurants in Dublin

03/12/2024: The staff were lovely and very attentive so there was no complaints in this regards. The main courses were fine and it was all very nice. Just nice. Not really what I expect from Thai cuisine as I would rather it smacks you round the face with flavour. Just would have expected a bit more.

27/11/2024: Complete and utter disgrace Gary and Co. We had made a booking for 14 people for a celebration months in advance for a Saturday. As it was for a group I emailed and after 7 emails back & forth, I confirmed the date and numbers. In order to secure booking Gary asked for a mobile no. which I sent to him and thanked him for looking after it. 13 guests who made the effort to come in and celebrate, who arrived just before me, were greeted by two very rude staff members, a disinterested bald man and a very abrupt Thai lady as they couldn't find the booking. The Thai lady had been snapping rudely at the guests and ushering them towards the door as she couldn’t locate the booking. When I got there I was asked who booked it and said Gary, I was then told by bald manager "oh, well that's not a good start" and looked at me blankly like that’s that resolved now.. When I produced the emails (7) confirming Gary’s reservation I was told that there was NOTHING that they could do, Absolutely NOTHING, just blank disinterested faces even though I had confirmation. After my partner tried to establish if Gary, being the apparent gate keeper (who wasn’t there that day) was local and could come in and try fix it, via phone, was equally as dismissive as the two other robots. What's utterly bewildering is, it was an early booking, 5.30pm, and without wanting to do some mental gymnastics to fix THEIR MISTAKE by rejigging/squashing in a few tables they turned us away!! Completely incapable and/or disinterested, not so much a token apology (only after which someone in our group suggested a voucher). We checked the seating downstairs and the ENTIRE downstairs was completely empty until 6.30!!?? The entire time all the two stony faced staff did was randomly swipe up and down the iPad for 15 mins trying to somewhat justify some type of action being taking yet knowing full well that they weren’t bothered to fix it. Horrible place, horrible staff, horrible atmosphere, obnoxious rude management. Never in my life have I encountered such unprofessionalism and immaturity. I have seen some messy situations fixed before in hospitality and dealt with professionally but not in this playschool. We then went locally to another restaurant who were fully booked out, but after some mental gymnastics, courtesy and sheer professionalism were able to look after us. We were met with blank disinterested faces when told there'd be a negative review, so here you go - not that you’ll probably care.

06/12/2024: The staff is absolutely amazing, the energy of the place is so peaceful, food was a 10/10. I had the best dinner there, thank you so much so the amazing staff, can’t wait to be there again soon!

11/11/2024: The service is friendly and attentive without being pushy; The food is quite tasty (order the meat a little less than usual) and the desserts are exactly the right size so as not to overfill the dinner. The only “negative” point is that the atmosphere inside the restaurant is like a hotel (light, carpet, etc.) Quite recommended.

22/11/2024: Baan Thai is a lovely little restaurant with very attentive staff and great authentic, tasty food. They accommodated me on very short notice and were good hosts!

16/11/2024: Very good food, quick service. Bit pricey but honestly good value for the portions. Would definitely recommend the crispy duck!

18/12/2024: Absolutely amazing place -small welcoming place - staff so good - attentive- informative! Food is just the best - I would say near Michelin star - it you pay for it . All we got was amazing - just look at the photos ! Go try - can’t wait to get back !

29/11/2024: Nice little restaurant by the river, Eric served us, he was plesent and professional, food was fantastic 👌 I had a burger 🍔 was the best I've had in years, shame there was no draught beer only bottles, restaurant and toilets were clean.

24/11/2024: Really great! The young lady is very warm and gentle! ! I will take my mom to eat next time she comes. The steak was very delicious! Desserts are also very good!

21/12/2024: Disgusting experience. My wife and I stayed at the hotel a stone’s throw away and were aware of Wuff being a good restaurant. One morning we wanted to have breakfast inside. While waiting outside with the others, a hostess came to speak to my wife who pointed to her ears meaning that she’s deaf. The hostess then sat us at a table with my wife facing strong sunlight and I faced inside the restaurant. I asked the woman to change our seats, yet she led several persons to tables which were not facing sunlight. Those customers walked in right behind us. A male host came to greet us and we asked him to change our seats. The hostess happened to come by. The guy spoke to her, who looked like a supervisor, and she showed an evil smile. My eyes caught all the activities. I immediately walked away with wife. Witnessed such nasty attitude, absolutely no way for us to patronize the place no matter how delicious were the food. Fortunately it was the only unpleasant experience during our 4 days in Dublin. Our experience was consistent with the rudeness documented in the other complaints. Updated Dec 20,2024: Found the place changed name to Spread Café. Hope the notoriously rude service is gone too.

19/11/2024: Popped in for coffee and scone this morning. Scone was one of the nicest l ever had. Cappuccino was also lovely. Will be back.

03/12/2024: The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing, and the coffee was delicious. I highly recommend this café to anyone seeking a unique and charming spot to enjoy a cup of coffee.

26/11/2024: The best coconut mocha! Service is top notch and the place looks great. New new addition of small cabins and blankets is just perfect!

29/11/2024: No Booking Available & Cash Only If it's the first time, hard to know what to do...but just go to the cashier and order&pay(cash). Not sure what happens if you couldn’t get a seat afterwords. I would recommend going here by yourself or 2, but nothing bigger. (I would say possible but hard) Pho was great and the server was efficient and helpful! Will be back for some other menu as well

26/11/2024: Myself and my son got a take away pizza tonight it was disgusting the pizza itself was so thin it was like paper, there was barely and cheese on it same with the sauce barely any of it . Extremely disappointed and I use to really like the pizzas here

09/11/2024: Quaint, cosy pub just off the beaten track. Has a nice timeless feel to it. Lovely pint of Guinness and a great spot for a quiet catch up with friends. Big bonus is it's right around the corner from my bus stop and the Luas 😁.

21/06/2024: Love this cafe.breakfast is always on point.staff are amazing,and funny and always Brighton up my day.we go here every Friday from work and always look forward to our breakfast.its a must go too.
