18/10/2025: Great place! I had a wonderful evening at this French restaurant in Dublin. Everything was really good: the dishes were tasty, well presented, and with that little "je ne sais quoi" that reminds us of France. The staff was simply amazing: welcoming, attentive, smiling... we immediately felt at ease. And the best part: the prices are very affordable, especially for the quality offered. I highly recommend it!

06/10/2025: Excellent culinary experience. The menu is creative, brilliantly executed and beautifully presented. I loved the diverse mix of flavors and textures. The courses were uniformly excellent, so it’s hard to single out winners but…I absolutely loved the cabbage tower, Coolatin cheddar custard, haddock tartlet and chocolate cremeux/blackberry sorbet dessert. I also appreciated a more measured pacing to the courses which affords a bit more breathing and conversation time between plates compared to some restaurants that seem obsessed with delivering the next course seconds after the previous course is complete. The waitstaff is approachable, personable and always in motion. I can’t recall a time when I’ve seen a higher performing front-of-the-house crew operating at their level of effectivenss or demonstrating such a cooperative, team-oriented attitude. They’re very familiar with the menu and are able to make excellent beverage pairing suggestions. They contribute to the energy in the dining room, which only has about 10 tables for 2-4pp plus a larger 8-person table for larger groups, along with about 8 seats at a shared high top and counter extension (so definitely make a reservation). A casual atmosphere and varied background music complement this Modern Michelin experience. I look forward to returning when I’m next in Dublin. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

28/09/2025: Wow! All I can say is wow. There is actually nothing I can recommend to Bastible because everything was amazing. The service was spot on. Everyone was so willing to help. Now the food is hands down the best. Each dish was different and had incredible presentation. I savored each course.

20/10/2025: Just incredible experience! You feel in Ireland with good old music! The food is amazing and it’s such a cozy experience. You have to try the pie to share and the mimosa eggs! Good selection of desert.

19/10/2025: At the tail end of our UK/Ireland trip, this was one of our favorite meals. Great, creative comfort food, an amazing pint of Guinness with welcoming hospitality in a laid back atmosphere. Go in hungry and leave happy. On the top of our list for when we return to Dublin.

21/10/2025: A lovely little café and shop with a lovely smell when you walk in 😏 We had coffees with a shot of CBD, and all the treats are 100% vegan—what more could you ask for? The hazelnut praline-filled cookie was to die for! ❤️

21/10/2025: The staff here are always 10/10. I visit once a month for CBD and the calm environment paired with friendly staff is the winning combo few places achieve.

18/10/2025: Went in here recently with my partner to eat and have a drink. The host was extremely unhelpful and unfriendly and seemed like she just wanted to get rid of us as soon as we got in. I've had another bad experience here previously. I don't recommend it.

07/10/2025: I ordered tea, my friends ordered coffee, and I loved the way the girls made it. They looked super cute, like professionals. They were also very friendly, and I loved it.

26/10/2025: I had an excellent experience at this Japanese restaurant. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming, and the service was outstanding throughout our visit. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every dish was delicious. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys authentic Japanese cuisine and great service!

28/09/2025: We had a wonderful meal on Sunday afternoon at Hemingway’s in Clontarf. The food was delicious, and the service was amazing. Our server, Bogdan, was nothing less than fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant and this server. It was a great way to top off our first day in Ireland.

05/10/2025: A nice space with welcoming front of house. The acoustics are bad - great sound track, softly spoken staff = straining to hear. And we’re not hard of hearing. The food rotated from excellent, to good to average. The price doesn’t allow for average. The most disappointing aspect was the service. Quite rushed. Relatively unfriendly. The waiters believe that keeping to your set 2 hour slot is more important than avoiding interrupting your conversation. Tasty meal overall. I wouldn’t return.

04/10/2025: We had a really enjoyable meal at Variety Jones and would highly recommend. The restaurant is gorgeous, really cosy with a lovely atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and the sommelier gave us a lovely wine recommendation that wasn’t the most expensive wine on the list. The food was delish, portion sizes are definitely larger than most fine dining restaurants and sadly the night we dined, had no options on the main or the starter. We would 100% go back again!
