Devitts
Dublin
19/05/2026: Great pub with the friendliest of staff and doormen.
19/05/2026: In from the states and wanted to have a real Irish pub experience, we went upstairs for live music along with our dinner and it was truly such a wonderful experience. Service was beyond stellar, all the waitresses we encountered were so warm and welcoming when we came in and attentive throughout our meal. Food was delicious- my dad had the roast of the day which was bacon and cabbage and we all wished we had ordered the same- that cabbage was SO good!! Truly feel we’ve been disappointing my Irish ancestors by making such drab cabbage our whole lives- can’t recommend enough such a lovely meal 💚🤍🧡

Hang Dai
Dublin
14/06/2026: I didn’t book and arrived at 6pm on a Friday asking for a table for two. The staff offered me a table at the bar. I insisted on a proper table because, 10 minutes before arriving, I had checked the online booking system and booking for a table was available. I just decided to rush to the restaurant instead of wasting time filling in booking details, which is why I went there directly. However, the lady said it wasn’t an option.
Well, the entire time we were there, two tables for two at the back remained empty 🤡
The food was good, and the waiters were attentive, but for me, eating comfortably is an important part of the experience. Sitting at the bar while watching two empty tables the entire time wasn’t the experience I was hoping for, and it definitely put me off coming back.
11/06/2026: Really good vibe in the restaurant .
Food was excellent .
All staff were very friendly and Amy looked after us particularly well on our visit

Paulie's Pizza
Dublin
21/05/2026: My wife and I visited last night for a quick dinner before a concert.
I'm so glad we booked! It's very busy and having visited, I can see why. There's nothing not to like. It's cosy, staff are lovely and the food was amazing. My wife had the Gambas pasta dish. Loads of prawns and cooked without chili as requested. I had a pizza from the specials board.
Dessert was an amazing tiramisu which we couldn't finish.
Given the quality of the food, we think it represents great value.
We will certainly visit again, but I wish it was closer to home so we could visit often!
18/05/2026: We were bunch of hungry shouldy who has landed in Dublin and for the love of good food came in to Paulies
Oh boy it truly lives up to its expectations. The vegetarian pizzas were savored more at our table for the freshness of the ingredients and the taste. The starters were great too and the tiramisu at the end was a treat.
The service was great and the hosts were very gentle and helpful. All in all it was great experience

Etto
Dublin
17/06/2026: Very good standard. Starts with the Spanish olive oil for dipping. Deep green with
grassy notes. Next level. Shout out to our English waitress. Switched on and friendly
14/06/2026: My lord, dinner here was like eating artwork! Completely forgot to take photos of our starters - I had beef carpaccio with a horseradish sauce and some very tasty mini mushrooms. Hubby had boar salami on a toasted potato cake. My main was lamb with minted puréed peas and a fried sweetbread, my husband had a citrus-y risotto to die for. Dessert was chocolate torte for him, mine was some unbelievable concoction with shortbread, strawberries, whipped cream, and a basil accent. We devoured everything with a disgraceful speed - so, so yummy. Our server Miranda was on the spot, dancing between the eight tables in the room, and making her hard work look effortless. She was funny, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu, describing the items that were unfamiliar to us. Our tastebuds were tantalized and titilated - one of the best meals I've ever enjoyed, including Paris and a three-star restaurant in Rome. Definitely book ahead, and get ready for the meal of a lifetime!

The Marker Rooftop Bar
Dublin
31/05/2026: I've stayed at the Marker Hotel on my last two visits to Dublin, each lasting about a week. While the hotel is beautiful with great amenities, this most recent visit fell far short of expectations.
The curtain issue: Our room curtain would not close fully, allowing light to stream in and making restful sleep nearly impossible. We reported this to staff multiple times throughout our stay. Each time we were told it was fixed, but it never was. Staff would simply force the curtain as far as it would go, and the problem persisted the moment it was reopened. On our fourth or fifth attempt, the curtain partially detached and fell on my friend. Despite further repair attempts, the issue was never resolved. While the hotel sent chocolates and wine (which we appreciated), what we needed was either a proper fix or an offer to switch rooms. The result was a week-long vacation where we never felt fully rested, hardly what you expect from an expensive room.
The spa policy: We booked this hotel primarily for the spa. We understood that child access hours changed during the Christmas–New Year period and planned our days accordingly to use the spa during adult-only hours. However, multiple times we arrived to find the pool and hot tub packed with children, splashing, diving, and screaming, making it impossible to relax. When I asked staff about the discrepancy, I was told they were allowing children during adult-only hours due to check-ins. This was incredibly frustrating, as the spa was the primary reason we chose to return to the Marker. We never got to use the facilities as planned and never got to fully relax. The staff response to this issue was also insufficient.
We also experienced issues with shower pressure, noise, and other minor problems. For the price point, I'm disappointed we didn't receive what we paid for. We're returning to Dublin in May and had initially planned to book the Marker again, but based on this experience, we'll unfortunately be looking elsewhere.
30/05/2026: We had an amazing stay at Anantara!
The rooms were beautiful, the staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food was delicious. A special thank you to Matthijs at reception, who went above and beyond to make our stay especially enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Dublin!

Terra Madre
Dublin
14/05/2026: Incredibly good gnocchi and tortelini
Nice staff, cozy place, but they didn't have beer
13/05/2026: Only thing I didn't totally love, is it's a very small restaurant, so I felt like I was sitting on the person next to me (not at my table). Food was authentic and delicious. Staff was friendly and it had that family owned vibe which is my favorite!
