26/06/2025: Recommended by the Lonely Planet guide, we stopped on our tour of Dublin city center for lunch. We ordered the soup of the day, creamy and tasty, and the Irish smoked salmon. They seemed small portions, but they were very satisfying. Then we shared a dessert: we tried the dark chocolate choux bun, with a cream in which you could really taste the blueberries.
The place is very nice, with lots of wood and velvet, which gives a warm and welcoming feeling. The soft lights and scattered candles create a romantic atmosphere even at lunch. Very clean services and always smiling and helpful staff. I would go back!

26/07/2025: The restaurant is overrated and even ovepriced. Dish for sharing between two was so small that even one tiny woman would not have any problem to eat it all herself. Fish was undercooked. We got apology and in few minutes the same previously open fish arrived back, still not cooked enough.
22/07/2025: Simply amazing! Our lunch at Mamo was absolutely a high point of our stay in Ireland. From start to finish, the cuisine, and service, were out of this world. I don't have enough adjectives to properly describe just how fabulous it was. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

19/07/2025: Large dining and drinking area, rowdy, fun place. Dinner and drinks were fun and prices were reasonable. Great place to meet people and also watch live sports. Generous portions and good service. Only wished last orders were later!

Teníamos una mezcla de cerdo gyoza, los camarones migados, sushi arco iris y teppanyaki de pato crujiente para compartir y toda la comida era absolutamente delicioso.
El personal era amable y fantástico también y nos dejó saltar allí durante 4 horas! Qué amable de su parte permitirnos una puesta al día tan extensa.

25/07/2025: A strong performance! The place may be called The Old Spot, but it's anything but outdated. Top-notch service, great people, a pleasant atmosphere, and delicious, not-so-cheap food. Still, a recommendation with the highest number of stars and points.

22/07/2025: This restaurant discriminates against people with disabilities even though Irish law protects these access rights. I got denied trying to eat there with my trained medical service dog with paperwork. Would they discriminate the guy in the wheelchair? It is 2025 and things like this are still happening.

Staff was precise and kind, food explained very well and absolutely enjoyable.
