The best restaurants in Dublin

06/08/2026: We visited Rasam for dinner on a Wednesday, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I ordered the vegetarian thali, and my husband had the beetroot chicken. We absolutely loved both dishes. The thali was especially impressive because it’s rare to enjoy every single item on the plate, but every dish was full of flavor. The palak paneer was delicious, the kofta was rich and perfectly cooked, the dal was comforting and flavorful, and even the gobi sabzi stood out. It was one of the best vegetarian thalis I’ve had. The hospitality made the experience even more special. The owner, Nishith, was incredibly warm and welcoming. He spent time chatting with us, sharing stories, and made us feel genuinely looked after. To finish, we had the kulfi, which was fresh, authentic, and packed with flavor—the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Highly recommend Rasam for both its delicious food and exceptional hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

23/08/2026: 2 Mugs has become a daily if not weekly spot for me since going on maternity leave. My husband and I moved to Kilmacud not too long ago but never ventured until we had our baby. We started to go to 2 Mugs as we would go on our walks and once I was on my own for maternity leave I continued to go as it became a comfort. The fellas working behind the counter, Graham, Dan, and Eric are not only sensational baristas but also a bit of community for me. I have to say they make great coffee and have delicious food (even giving our dog a little treat when she comes with me) but also have made a point to get to know me. Not only are they your local community coffee/sandwich/pastry shop, but their kindness and personableness have become a strong pillar of support in the community. I have to say thanks to the lads for not only making some delicious ice vanilla lattes, but also celebrating my small wins of being a first time mom with me. If you are new to the area or just visiting and looking for a great spot for a coffee and chat I highly recommend 2 Mugs!

23/08/2026: My Favorite place togo for drink and small bites. Very cozy place but loved the decor... serves cocktails as well. Downstairs they have wow burgers so ur meal is also sorted while having your drink... great selection of beers, whiskeys and liquors at reasonable prices. Location is also good.

22/08/2026: Typical Italian cuisine, delicious dishes, friendly, attentive staff, excellent service. A way to feel at home even if you're only in Dublin for a few days. We had a great experience, and when we return to Dublin, we'd love to come back. Highly recommended! See you soon.

25/06/2026: We stumbled upon this place while shopping for Aran wool sweaters. Very good stop for lunch. Old, classy and lots of history. Food was delicious.

27/06/2026: We ordered two pizzas to go. An Italian guy served us, but when we picked up the pizzas, a Spanish guy helped us. I asked him if he needed the receipt to check our order, and he said no. I insisted, and he told me he knew what we’d ordered, so we trusted him. When we got to our picnic spot, they didn’t give us the sauce we’d paid for, nor any napkins. It was only €2 plus a few cents, so we didn’t go back . In any case, always double check your order, even if the server insists he knows what you ordered.

15/09/2026: We organised for our 55 6th Year History students to be given a tour of Glasnevin Cemetery recently and I cannot praise the staff and guides enough. It was remarkably easy to set up in advance and the tour itself was absolutely fantastic. The tour lasted for about an hour or so, and in that time students were shown around the graves of all major historical figures linked to their study of the Leaving Cert History course. Students were delighted with the tour and were mesmerised by the sheer depth of knowledge on display from our two guides. As well as this, their humour and personalities made the tour all the more engaging for the students who had nothing but great things to say about them. Thank you!

Anna’s incredible attention to detail, patience, and clear guidance made mastering espresso extraction and milk texturing feel so natural. Kemal brought fantastic energy, expert practical knowledge, and invaluable real-world tips to every module. Together, Anna and Kemal made a brilliant team—they gave personalized feedback, made sure everyone got plenty of hands-on practice, and built up our confidence behind the machine every step of the way. ​If you are looking to learn coffee skills from true professionals, I couldn't recommend Dublin Barista School enough. Huge thanks to Anna and Kemal for three amazing days!
