Olesya's Wine Bar

Dublin
08/01/2026: They have a very rich wine list from different countries. I think the cheese platter was simple but it was tasty. Very lovely atmosphere inside, perfect for a Sunday afternoon.
04/01/2026: Explored here recently went on a date with my best friend and we truly loved the atmosphere, drinks, and food. Staff were really nice and friendly. Ata helped us choose our wine and we will definitely visit here again😊

Host

Dublin
30/01/2026: I've been waiting months to get a booking here. Had a gorgeous meal, but maybe not worth as much hype as everyone makes out. Sharing Ribeye was beautiful but had barely a drizzle of sauce on the plate. Not like the photos I've seen. They also didn't let the steak rest long enough so it was tough when it was served. I did bring it back home and by the time I was home it was beautifully tender and juicy. The Pumpkin Cappellacci was simple but tasty, the venison pappardelle rich and hearty. Burnt ricotta cheesecake was yummy. Most disappointing dish by far was the burrata with beetroot, olive oil and dill. I don't understand why they would put such a bland and boring dish on such a gorgeous tasting menu. Spoiler alert, it tasted like burrata, beetroot, dill and olive oil. It was definitely a mixed bag meal but definitely more ups than downs.
25/01/2026: Just staggeringly good, the steak came with olive oil and balsamic...a combination you'd never think of but worked perfectly

The Tower Cafe

Dublin
20/01/2026: It's always special to learn about our history. Our tour guide is a credit to the cemetery and experience of the tour, so much passion and Indepth stories of every grave we visited . Would highly recommend it.
18/01/2026: The reason this is worth the visit is the tour. Small group, expert guide 22 euro. You're taken to grave sites in a kind of historical order and given stories for each person woven into the history of Ireland. Be sure to grab a pint at the Gravediggers after the tour. The coffee shop an interprerative center are next level. Parking is cheap too. This is insanely worth it.

Zakura

Dublin
19/01/2026: The rice in my Donburi was cold, the bowl was cold, everything else was good.
18/01/2026: Staff are lovely and attentive. Service is quick without feeling like you’re being at all rushed. The food is absolutely incredible. Portion sizes are great - I ordered a 4pc sushi, a portion of fried squid, and a side of noodles; and didn’t really need the noodles. Great vegetarian options. Will definitely be visiting again.

Finnegans

Dublin
30/12/2025: Went in here before Christmas for some food. The person that showed us to our table and was waiting on us was so rude. Maybe it was because we were not locals? She was short and abrupt when taking our orders and did not seem approachable at all. We felt like a nuisance if anything. It's unfortunate because it seems like a nice place otherwise.
23/12/2025: Great pint..excellent service lovely atmosphere.

O'Neills Victorian Pub

Dublin
21/01/2026: We tried this pub because we were staying in the B&B upstairs. The rooms were decent, perhaps a little cold, but overall good value. On a positive note: the location. Super central and very close to Trinity College. However, the pub disappointed us. Even though the kitchen closed at 9:30 PM, at 9 PM we were told the kitchen was closing and to hurry up and order. The staff weren't particularly friendly. The food wasn't anything special: we ordered beef stew and it was a kind of minestrone soup, runny and full of vegetables. There are definitely better pubs out there!
12/01/2026: In my experience, this restaurant is one of the best in Dublin for typical Irish food, and at a comparatively reasonable price. The quality of the dishes was outstanding. I went there two days in a row and was completely satisfied each time. The service is incredibly friendly and fast. And the beer, of course, is also very good. If it hadn't been closed the following Sunday, I would have gone a third time. The atmosphere and decor are simply wonderful and inviting, perfect for lingering, eating, and drinking. If I visit Dublin again, I will definitely go there again. Plus, it's located right next to Trinity College and not far from Temple Bar.

DeVille's

Dublin
19/01/2026: I dined in Deville's upon recommendation with 2 other friends last week. It was a disappointing experience. Food: Mediocre. I started with the pear and blue cheese salad. Upon arrival the mixed greens were the only ingredients visible other than the pear which seemed thrown on top. The red onion and candied walnuts and cheese was buried underneath the greens. The cheese was almost non-existent. In a restaurant of this caliber I expected a few small pieces of creamy blue cheese but I could only find a few tiny crumbles of the cheese. Crumbled cheese is the cheapest and this is not what I expected at all. It was pretty appalling. The other starters we ordered- crab salad was decent but the prawns in butter were not fresh. My friend ate them but he did remark that they did not seem to taste fresh and felt unwell during the night. I'm sure the prawns were the reason. For mains, I had filet steak. The others had lamb chops and the Chicken Florentine dish. The lamb chops were two mammoth double chops that were just too big. My friend was turned off by the size of them. My steak was cooked the way I liked, but it was not a tender filet. I've had much, much better. The bearnaise sauce that came with it was just bland, not offensive, but had no real pucker or flavor. For dessert, we ordered the banoffie pie which definitely felt like it bought in and not made in-house. Overall, food quality and presentation was very mediocre and lacked refinement. It was also disappointing that no bread basket was offered at the start of the meal. Service: The waiters were very pleasant but at times they congregated at the bar to the rear of where we were seated. On a few occasions, we had real difficulty getting their attention. Ambience/Atmosphere: the restaurant has a nice feel to it, and it felt comfortable and intimate. Overall, Deville's does not represent value for money. It is not cheap and I was expecting more. I would not be in any hurry to return.

Hemmingways

Dublin
06/01/2026: A group of six of us went between Christmas and New Year and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The owner managed a very busy restaurant despite being the only one serving due to illness of supporting staff. Admiral to watch excellent service with a smile. We will definitely return. Highly recommended due to gorgeous food and fantastic service.
04/01/2026: Had dinner with my friend and we couldn’t be happier. Big portions and fresh food. Absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.

The coffee is always rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed — you can really taste the quality in every cup. The staff are warm, friendly, and always remember my order, which makes it feel extra special.
