The best restaurants in Dublin

13/12/2025: Amazing breakfast and friendly welcoming staff. Coffee was impressive, toast was massive, sausages out of this world. Came on the strength of their google rating, it is well deserved!

08/12/2025: My first, but DEFINITELY not my last, time in this joyous oasis of calm in a very frisky part of Dublin. (Artwork, both hanging & sculpture, is so beautifully curated and personal, btw, that it is a big part of the experience). I had the full Irish breakfast made to my personal specifications with no fuss whatsoever (apart from my own). When I changed my mind about the pot of tea, it was removed from both my bill and from my table! (Now that's class! 😎). The orange juice (and indeed apple, I did notice) is high-end pre-bottled, and served to one's preferred temperatures. Staff were uniformly kind and warm, as WELL as attentive and genuine. The owner/proprietor is obviously a gentleman. As previously stated, I do indeed intend to be back for this "breakfast of kings" (which actually served as my own breakfast/my late lunch AND as my early dinner, so generous were the portions on what was a very busy day). Amazingly: MANY other types of foods/meals/snacks/sandwiches/cakes/etc. are also available here! 😲 N.B.: Tem atendiamento em português 🇧🇷 também! 😎 PS.: "NOTA DEEEEEEZZZzzzz" (na voz do Carlos Impérial)!

20/03/2026: This place was recommended to me by a friend from London, so we made sure we visited when on a business trip to Dublin. It did not disappoint. The food and service were amazing! Will definitely be visiting again if I ever return to Dublin.

08/03/2026: Fabulous food, kind and wonderful service, and a night to remember! Stunned and so appreciative. I called a few days ahead to make a reservation and they fit me and my best friend on the bar. Showed up a few minutes before opening/our reservation and they kindly noticed and let us in. I had a fabulous drink "Bamboo" to start while my friend had prosecco. Later, getting a carafe of the house red. All drinks were spectacular. Nibbles: Local Irish oysters with rhubarb granita: I'm an oyster lover and these were plush and fabulous. Beef Tartare on potato: the potatoes were like pillows with light crunch, decadent and fresh tartare, and the egg yolk piped on the top made every bite the perfect one. (We ended up getting a second plate as 'dessert' later) Special of the day Quail Tortellini in stock: The depth of the stock was maybe the best I've had, slurped it all, and the tortellini was fab! Mains Quail & celeriac: OMG. Can't say ENOUGH! The way they butchered and prepared the quail, allowed for the perfect bite. The best quail I've had. Special highlight was the perfect quail breast. Cavatelli & mushrooms: FRESH. PASTA. the bite was perfect, not truly al dente, the texture showing all the benefits of the fresh pasta. I didnt even have to wonder/ask if fresh pasta was used, that's how impressive it was. Dessert Plums soaked and simmered in wine, shortbread cookie, cream: Wine completely cooked out, these tasted like oversized and plump Luxardo Cherries. The cream was light and held shape and the shortbread was not crumbly but didn't bend. Mastery. The service was quick, and the place being small added to the attention and the atmosphere. The whole team worked together to make sure we were taken care of. Jovial and kind, nothing but praise! 10/5!!!! I will be recommending this place to all who go to Dublin. My friend had lived there for months and agreed it was by far the best meal she'd had in the city. Yes it's not cheap but I feel the prices are fair and I did not feel short changed by portion size whatsoever.

09/03/2026: Classic Irish pub. Delicious Irish food. We tried the Guinness Beef Stew and the Bangers and Mash.

08/03/2026: If you're looking for a genuine, warm,cozy Irish pub that isn't packed full of tourists this is the spot to visit. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. And a massive plus is that they have cats in the pub. To me this is the icing on the cake.

07/02/2026: Highly recommend this spot, whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple looking for a cute date night or a couple of gal pals. It’s the kind of atmosphere where you can comfortably hold a conversation. The food is excellent, the oysters and pâte are a must. The service/staff are incredible: friendly, professional, know their stuff and never make you feel rushed. I traveled solo here and they graciously served me for hours as I hung out, ate and drank. Vibes are on point, 10/10 recommend!

30/01/2026: Really bad experience which is extremely disappointing. We were sat at the outside part of the restaurant. When we got our meal my partner was facing the glass frame around the restaurant where a man kept coming up to the glass and getting sick. We could see the sick and him hunched over for all of our dinner. There is a lady who works at the door and was standing there the whole time and never went out to tell him to leave. It took us to have to tell the host about the man in order for the woman to tell him to leave. Ruined the night completely for us. We were completely put off our food. For a high standard restaurant like this you shouldn’t have to sit down and watch someone get sick when you’re paying high prices.

03/01/2026: We have been part of many weddings at No25 and it’s always unreal! This venue oozes character compared to many anaemic wedding venues, it’s intimate and weddings there are always fab. Stephen the manager/coordinator makes everything effortless and is so welcoming. Highly recommend you check this place out if you are looking for a great place to get married and celebrate in style!

31/12/2025: We attended a wedding here last week and credit where it's due, the place is incredible. Amazing food, beautiful setting, but it's the staff that really make it, so on the ball, on top of everything. Service is usually pretty good at weddings at nice venues so it's hard to stand out, but the staff at 25 really did. Special word for Stephen who really looked after us when it was needed.

03/01/2026: Great old Dublin pub, a must visit when in Dublin. Great atmosphere, excellent service and nice food at very good prices

01/01/2026: Nice bar with authentic old school features. Appreciated the lack of TV's and music. The Bar staff were indifferent at best and the vitamin G was just fine but not outstanding. Kitchen was closed so could not try the food, chef apparently is in "rehab"!

01/03/2026: I’ve been coming to Asahi for years. It’s always consistently tasty and fresh, has a very nice selection of authentic food, and the service is always excellent! Highly recommended for an easy place to meet with a couple of friends, to visit on your own, or even with a larger group of 7-8 people.

20/02/2026: Hands down the best Asian food I’ve had in a long time. This place is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is welcoming, and the food is top-notch. I highly recommend the Pad Thai—it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Don’t let the exterior fool you; the food inside is incredible. 5 stars!

08/01/2026: This was the second time we ate at the restaurant. It did not disappoint. We had the early dinner menu. I had the veal, cod and date pudding. My friend had the cauliflower soup, pork belly and cheese plate. All 6 of the dishes were very delicious. The wine list was extensive and reasonable. Will definitely go back again!
