The best restaurants in Dublin

13/12/2025: The best restaurant in Dublin. Eaten here 10 times and every time is better than the last. I could not recommend here higher. From the service, to the food quality, to the wine, there's literally no better restaurant in the county (country possibly). If you're on the fence, do yourself a favour and book it. I'll refund you myself if you don't like it. VJ forever

16/10/2025: Second visit to a restaurant often disappoints, but not this time. Confident cooking, generous portions, well chosen wines. Undoubtedly the best monkfish dish I've ever eaten. Efficient but relaxed service. Prices very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Will definitely return for a seafood treat next time I'm in this part of Dublin.

11/09/2025: A very nice experience, quality service and very attentive. The food was well above and beyond expectations, the fish was cooked perfectly, with lots of flavor and a lot of work. Beautiful presentation and very generous portions. The setting is just as enjoyable. Bravo!!!!!

25/09/2025: Unbelievable pizza but the tatties steal the show, absolutely delicious!!

18/09/2025: We had Deanos wood fired pizza truck to celebrate work anniversary.Pizzas were amazing and staff were very quick too making them for over 40 people.Special sauce and chillie honey were class.

15/12/2025: A very beautiful and excellent restaurant, you can go there without hesitation. A huge thank you to Tara who was very friendly and professional during service. I also celebrated my 38th birthday there on December 14th. I also want to thank the person who found me a table at the restaurant since I arrived without a reservation. They were very welcoming and kind. I'll be back for my next birthday. Thank you Djamel

19/12/2025: Work Christmas lunch disaster. We were told when booking that we had a strict two hour slot and would have to leave at 4:30, which we were fine with. People booked train tickets to get home afterwards. Service was very slow. Our orders were taken over 45 minutes after we arrived, main courses only came out at 4:25pm (we were expecting to be finished by then!), some people already had to leave to catch their trains. More than half the group missed out on dessert (it was served after 5:00pm!) because they had to leave. Management were rude and dismissive, refused to give any refunds, apparently people "ate too slowly". The atmosphere was very unpleasant for the remaining team members who were able to stay late. Some people paid 47 euro and only got a starter.

17/12/2025: The food was okay, the staff was friendly. But the restroom was pretty dirty and smelly and the place was very noisy.

09/12/2025: The restaurant itself is genuinely beautiful — the décor and atmosphere are lovely and definitely give a great first impression. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the setting. The biggest issue for us was the price versus the quality. The food was very expensive, and honestly, the quality just didn’t feel worth the amount we paid. There were five of us, and we were also charged around €16 as a service charge, which felt quite excessive considering the overall experience. On top of that, we felt a bit rushed. Even though there were plenty of tables available, the waiters kept checking in repeatedly in a way that made it seem like they wanted us to finish up and leave. It took away from what should have been a relaxed meal. Overall, the place is beautiful, but the food, pricing, and service didn’t justify the cost for us. Not sure we’d return.

09/12/2025: Delicious Japanese cuisine. Very tasty food, perfect portions and great drinks. Plus, it's a very nice place with an Asian vibe.

24/11/2025: Our experience was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend this place, especially for the live cooking show, which was very funny. The sirloin and the duck were both of the highest quality.

16/12/2025: I am a regular visitor to Hemmingways and each time I go the food and atmosphere is amazing the value for money is great I would highly recommend a visit

13/12/2025: Steak was cooked to medium perfectly but lacked a crust and proper seasoning. Not worth the €140 they are asking for the tomahawk. Sides also rather plain, once again no seasoning. Would not recommend going for the food but I would for the service but expect to pour your own wine and then also tip at the end.

30/11/2025: Had the loveliest meal here at a Christmas do last night. The waitress couldn’t have been lovelier and more accommodating with dietary requirements and the food was absolutely delicious. Christmas set menu food is often average at best but this was absolutely fab food and service. Thank you for a lovely evening

11/12/2025: Had such a lovely time at Chimac Dublin. The food is amazing, but what truly makes it special is the staff — genuinely warm, attentive, and so friendly. They make the whole experience feel personal. Can’t wait to go back!

06/08/2025: Nice dog friendly bar. The seats outside catch the sun in the evening. Serve a small selection of Japanese food which was good.
