18/09/2025: We had Deanos wood fired pizza truck to celebrate work anniversary.Pizzas were amazing and staff were very quick too making them for over 40 people.Special sauce and chillie honey were class.

This was my second trip to Ireland, and my second visit to this restaurant. For me to come back again says a lot! FX Buckley truly left a remarkable impression the first time, and once again it didn’t disappoint.
19/10/2025: A place where you can eat exquisite meat. We also ordered the Caesar salad and the shrimp, and I think the latter were some of the most delicious I've ever tried. The service is excellent.

08/09/2025: Cant speak about food, but service and location is great. The sitting space on a fresh air with blankets and everything in black and orange make the place feel cosy. Even in a sunny day, trees and sheds give a nice and cool shadow. Great place to relax outside

18/10/2025: Not impressed with the way we were treated by the door staff …. Had arranged to meet another couple there for a drink and something to eat like we did the last previous two weeks with no issues until we did this week ….we were told we couldn’t even enter the bar unless we had a reservation . Told him we were meeting people at the bar …for a drink first ……. He just said no not tonight …. We were mortified …and to add insult .when we looked in there was loads of space at the bar …we aren’t young and we were dressed nicely so couldn’t understand the issue .. we will never go there again …..avoid this place …at all costs .

16/10/2025: Second visit to a restaurant often disappoints, but not this time. Confident cooking, generous portions, well chosen wines. Undoubtedly the best monkfish dish I've ever eaten. Efficient but relaxed service. Prices very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Will definitely return for a seafood treat next time I'm in this part of Dublin.
11/09/2025: A very nice experience, quality service and very attentive. The food was well above and beyond expectations, the fish was cooked perfectly, with lots of flavor and a lot of work. Beautiful presentation and very generous portions. The setting is just as enjoyable. Bravo!!!!!

22/10/2025: Good Irish beef, although quite expensive. The wines, as in all of Ireland, are completely outrageously priced, more than four times their retail value.
On the other hand, the cod is excellent and very reasonably priced.
Finally, good coffee.
19/10/2025: The food was phenomenal, the steak came exactly as I ordered, and the quality was top notch. I highly recommend the peanut butter and chocolate tart to finish the dinner, as the texture and taste were both fantastic.
The waiters checked in on us and the food in a very attentive and polite manner, we felt very cared for.
The atmosphere was very ambient, perfect for an intimate dinner, but also a larger gathering.
I would very highly recommend this place:)

22/10/2025: Came an hour closing time and they were visibly annoyed to see another paying customer in for a very quick plate of food which I stated. I could hear them moaning about it being the counter after I ordered at which point I considered leaving but the hunger took over. A few minutes later a plate was slammed on the table just as the appeared looked to be slammed on the plate. The level of noise as they pushed chairs and tables around while cleaning made the experience unbearable. As a coffee shop owner, this was an eye opener!

29/09/2025: Not too bad, true speakeasy vibes with secret password and entrance. Creepy back alley that leads you upstairs to a comfortable venue above. Downstairs is the restaurant and the more pub-like sister “speakeasy” (which is not hidden by any means and much louder).

31/10/2025: It was so great. We had the set menu with the striploin as the main course. Every dish was fantastic. The service was also very attentive and friendly from the moment we entered until we left the restaurant.
21/09/2025: Amazing place. Super vibe. Absolutely delicious food. Friendly staff. Highly recommended. We had the chef’s menu and did not disappoint. It’s also loads of food for two people, no need to add anything else! The only thing I didn’t love was the salad, but everything else was a 10 out of 10.
