The best restaurants in Dublin

31/07/2026: Anna was amazing such a sweetheart made sure everything was okey for us. The food was absolutely delicious it was my first time trying it but definitely will be coming back.

09/08/2026: Loved the food in Janet’s!! We had the chicken spice bag, duck pancakes, tofu dumplings and smashed cucumber salad. It was all very delicious and affordable. Our favourite were the duck pancakes. Staff were lovely, it was busy and it’s great to see Janet have her place in the city. Well done and we will be back 😍

08/07/2026: Absolutely blown away but the menu and service at VJ. This may very well fit in my top 5 restaurants in the world, and I don’t put that lightly. Every single dish was unique and delicious and it was exciting to see what was coming next. I cannot wait to come again the next time we’re in Ireland.

08/07/2026: To be honest this is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. This is what an amazing restaurant should feel like. Everything was perfect- the food, waiters and waitresses the music the whole feel of the place.

15/07/2026: Went for Sunday lunch. The starters of burrata and croquettes were fine but nothing amazing. We went for pork and beef for the roast. The meat is very tasty and cooked very well but found the gravy a bit lacking. The veg of peas and carrots is very boring and was not seasoned properly and the stuffing was very poor. The staff were really friendly and service was very good but we wouldn’t be rushing back.

14/07/2026: Back for the first time since having kids and the staff could not have been nicer and helpful with the kids! Food is top class, service too. We felt so well looked after! Thanks a million. Looking forward to coming back soon!

09/07/2026: Best Guinness in all of Dublin. And we tried almost every pint I reckon. They wouldn't let us have it until the head had settled properly. It really was lighter somehow.

09/07/2026: Absolutely superb. I think we've tried 15 different places for a pint of Guinness on our visit this week. Kavanagh's is easily the best. No idea how but it's lighter and no bitter taste.

23/07/2026: Beautiful bar, great service, and a great focus on Irish spirits. While we generally prefer slightly simpler bar programs, we still enjoyed all of our drinks. The Irish Coffee stole the show- we split a second and visited the sister bar Sackville Lounge for 2 more the next night. The butter washed whiskey, coffee brewed with Guiness, and bread infused simple syrup added an incredible complexity of flavor. The Belfast Coffee was one of the most poitin forward drinks on the menu, so if you want a mixed drink where the poitin is the star definitely go for the Belfast. We will be back on our next trip to Dublin for more Irish coffees!!

06/06/2026: Spend our last night at this local pub which was walking distance from our hotel. Tom the bartender was awesome. He gave me a personal view on the Irish whisky’s the bar had and explained each one’s differences. He was very knowledgeable and great with the group.

24/07/2026: Fabulous food and delicious choice

23/07/2026: Cavistons is a guarantee for seafood, but this time the service exceeded expectations. The fritto misto and the monkfish with gambas and mussels served with a bisque sauce were fabulous, but Jonathon’s attention and care were a wonderful surprise. Such a warm welcome, combined with excellent quality ingredients, will definitely bring us back soon!

20/05/2026: Nice little pub in the center of Dublin.

17/05/2026: A good pub with traditional decor. The food and beer are average; good, but average. Like others, the added value is, as always, the atmosphere and music. Like many others in the area, it's packed with tourists, but the engaging atmosphere draws everyone in. The Irish Revolutionaries' proclamation of independence on the outside wall is a particularly interesting display.

12/07/2026: We visited here today. We ordered caprese salad and a pizza; it was lovely! Very fresh ingredients, great service and unbelievably reasonable prices! Loved the kids toys out, loved the family atmosphere and would definitely visit again!

10/07/2026: Delicious food and 100% Italian. You could perfectly eat one of their dishes in Italy. The pasta is delicious and at a very good price.

18/07/2026: Great pizzas. Ordered drinks from Straw Hall. Ate under canopies. Lovely friendly atmosphere

14/07/2026: This place is great for having pizzas! The only issue is that they’re out of capacity many times. I had to go back several times because they weren’t taking orders due to the high demand.

25/05/2026: Great place for a coffee or a small morning snack. Staff is amazing and super kind, there are enough seats for everyone and wall plugs for you to charge your device. If you gonna have your coffee around this area, just go there. Great prices especially if you are on budget, Latte was 3.7 € and all the snacks are 3€ . Highly recommend!
