10/05/2025: Typical Irish breakfast, super good and inexpensive

08/05/2025: We liked this so much my spouse and I ate here twice. The porridge was delicious. The Irish full breakfast was also good but my favorite was the porridge. Price was reasonable for what we ordered. The second time we ate here was on our last day in Dublin, the server gave us Irish bread to try as a gift which was sweet of him. I liked how homey and comfortable this cafe felt.

17/05/2025: Shocking, can't believe this place is ranked 4.8 on Google, food very average, cheap meats as a meat selection, ok cheese , and oysters with a mild flavourless sauce ....and then when I wanted modify a cocktail by leaving out an item and I was told they were pre-made cocktails out of a packet 😳, I think the pretentious vibe is the attraction to people here.....I can't figure it out tbh.....people in a queue to get in and spend 16 euros on pre-made cocktails????? Cocktails were grand, nothing special at all...junkies from the hostel across the road begging for money from the clients outside and causing issues...great night though, hit pawn shop with a big stick and went to the casino and hit on 6 spins in a row in roulette, Happy to more than recoup my 150 snots bill from Bar 1661💪

19/05/2025: The service at the restaurant was terrible. The staff were slow in taking orders and forgot customers' food. My group of 80 people came for dinner at 6:30 PM, but by 9:30 PM, many tables still hadn't received their food. Customers who ordered earlier were served after those who ordered later. The staff had bad attitudes, frowning and raising their voices at customers. In my opinion, this is the worst restaurant in Dublin.

10/05/2025: I heard about Arthur's but until now never tried it. Well, that was my mistake. What a great place. The place was quite full for a Thursday evening, but the atmosphere was just perfect. A happy buzz but the staff just made it perfect. Aoife was way beyond brilliant, and the Monaghan man helping her just made for a very special evening. The food was top class, a seafood chowder and bangers and mash with excellent pints of Guinness hit the spot perfectly. Prices were reasonable. Then upstairs to a truly memorable night of excellent Jazz. My advice, don't pass Arthur's.

18/05/2025: Went for a last minute Saturday lunch. Had the crab and the Dover sole washed down with a lovely glass of Chablis , all absolutely delicious. It was my first visit but it won’t be my last. Would highly recommend

He was so attentive and had a great sense of humour, which made the whole experience even more fun. Thanks for a great lunch! We can’t wait to come back 🤩

21/05/2025: It's not a very atmospheric place, but more of a formal restaurant. It's a bit pricey for the dishes they serve. The stew is very good, but the rest of the dishes didn't impress us. We particularly disliked the Baileys cake. The best part is the service: very polite, attentive, and even speaks Spanish.

18/05/2025: Tried to go to the restaurant but not opened for walk in customers till after 10am

14/05/2025: We were recommended this Pub by a local and were super happy they did! We went on a Saturday night and they had Karaoke. Had a great time talking to some of the locals while taking in the Karaoke. Overall good vibe in the place and we had a great time. Not sure if there was food, as we only went to drink!

13/05/2025: Don't know it till you try it. Staff, Service,Food 100%. You're right at home. Next question I can't answer because it is priceless well worth it. It's our treat once a month, or if I've to slip into town for another reason. I was in on the 7th of my birthday eve. As always, I left with I'll see you again soon x

01/05/2025: I rarely leave reviews, but we had such a wonderful time here I had to! Our server was absolutely incredible, she was so nice, cheerful and helpful, the atmosphere was truly fantastic! The food was great, the portions are really big, we all enjoyed our pints of Guinness- overall AMAZING experience! 🩷

16/05/2025: Today I went to eat at the Elephant in Rathmines and the service from Marcus and Daiane was incredible. The salmon and wings were incredible!! I highly recommend them!!!!

12/05/2025: Left feeling a little underwhelmed after dining at Pickle based on the raving reviews, awards and wait to get a reservation. Food was good but nothing super memorable. The butter chicken was dry and lacked some flavour, ive had better from indian takeaways for half the price. Rice and naans were under average, not to mention portions were tiny. There were no poppadoms included which is sad (don’t even think they had any on the menu) The Korma and Lamb shank were very good as was the chicken wing starter. Staff were pleasant although there was a sense we were being rushed the whole time. For spending over €50 pp you’d expect to be able to take your time a bit.. Overall it was a decent restaurant but i would likely not return. There are other Indian restaurants in dublin that are better and cheaper

09/05/2025: I ordered chole bature , it was not not good enough yet very expensive. Bature was not upto the mark.. and it coat 27 euros. Similarly i ordered gulab Jamun ,taste was mediocre and cost was very high.
