29/12/2024: Ordered a pizza on Christmas Eve, it arrived and was in BITS, clearly the driver had dropped it on route. Rang back and was told a new pizza would be sent out. No missed calls or knocks at the door and over an hour&30mins goes by so assumed it wouldn’t be coming. The next day I discovered my new pizza left out on our front window OUTSIDE all night. Driver just left it there didn’t even bother to ring or knock! Customer service in this kip is disgraceful, driver’s are rude and incompetent, food is atrocious. Don’t waste your money!

28/06/2024: Cool place. Typical fish & chips, large and tasty. Free sauces. Apart from the toilet, which was terribly neglected, the pub was quite nice. And the atmosphere is also quite nice.

22/12/2024: If this is part of The Quays bar, this was our first pub we visited in Dublin and we had a great time, we didn't try the food, only came here for the live music and drinks. The band, duo, playing were just great, creating very good "irish" atmosphere and the people as well, with singing and clapping along with Irish songs. We didn't have any issue getting inside (even though there was a security guard outside), the drinks are maybe more expensive, but it is also written on the drinks menu that in time of live events, music, prices might be higher. For our country standards it is pretty expensive (from 8-10 € for a pint of beer), but as I have no reference, I can't say for sure if this is expensive or not for Ireland or Dublin standards, but even so we had a great time. Also staff was friendly and the bartender gave us some recommendations about which Irish beer to try (besides Guinness).

22/12/2024: Absolutely disgusted with the bouncer here, he was racist and a bully. Me and my mates were on a mini break to Dublin. We tried to go inside when the bouncer went ‘not tonight lads’ we asked why and if it was too busy inside and he said no, we were too drunk (we only had 1 drink at this point so we were completely sober). When we challenged him on this, he point blank refused us. We then asked if it was because we were English, from which he smiled and shrugged his shoulder which was a massive indicator to me. You should not employ people who are going to display discriminatory behaviour based on their own personal opinions, and I for one felt extremely offended. I have since looked at the recent reviews and this is a regular thing for this pub and it needs to be challenged. Regardless there are many many good pubs in the surrounding area so it wasn’t hard to find somewhere that would serve us.

14/10/2024: I regularly, not all the time, get my Chocolate Pure Protein shake. It's delicious. I get them after I do my workout with Perpetua. The only con I have is that the last few times - and I only noticed today, then went back and checked my last few transactions - I've been getting overcharged for the same shake I always get. I just usually tap my card and take it to go after I finish my workout so I hadn't really looked at the charges properly before. It says on the menu that the Pure Protein shake is 4.50 but I'd been getting charged 5.95 the past handful of visits. Unless they've upped their prices - it still says it's 4.50 online? So not sure what's going on there? Other than that, still love my little protein shakes after my workouts. Can't fault the taste or anything else. Just a little peeved at getting overcharged and only noticing later on...

08/11/2024: Just moved into the area looking for our new local Chinese and had no luck. Then Changs menu came through the post, gave them a go and havent looked back. Delicious Chinese, no issues with delivery. Great prices. It has quickly become our weekly takeout.

20/10/2024: Boss man added wayyy to much curry sauce. Food is microwaved

22/12/2024: Everything is good except for people(who are not homeless) who come inside the shop and keep asking or pushing customers for food. Was scared for my belongings.

07/09/2024: Sobreprecio , mal servicio , hacía mucho calor allí estábamos sudando mal , 22 € por un pollo biryani pequeño (que es ordinario la carne ) , en general experiencia horrenda y gastado un montón de dinero para nada

13/09/2024: I called in today to a regular stop for me possibly last ever. Service appalling , rude as a sat drinking my coffee another customer arrived I was told place closed not even allowed to finish my coffee. Same server during week left gentleman serve at busy lunch hour to take her break. Guess supervision of junior staff non existent and customers not important. Need to reappraisal urgently .

05/10/2024: The lads are always upbeat, friendly and helpful. They cope well when there is a rush, the service is always friendly from my 100s of visits. The food is better than what to be expected for a very good value place. Copious, endless amounts soya etc for coffees

23/12/2024: This place is a disgrace they sold me a MC flurry that was sour and now my stomach is left in bits, The place is a kip! Always messing up orders, it took me 3 times to drive around to get the orange chocolate pie because they kept giving me an apple pie instead, they really need to focus and be aware of what they are doing, One of these days they are going to kill someone! The MC Donald's workers need to learn how to clean up the tables instead of standing there chatting looking through the mountains of trash 🗑️ I already know that I'm not the only one that's feeling ill after eating from here! I'm genuinely shocked that they're still open just take a look at the reviews 😕.

12/12/2024: Very hit and miss. Sometimes the food isn't hot. They don't park you up so the queue is always long. Always short staffed. Staff are always pleasant. Ice cream machine rarely works. The one by the airport is much better.

14/12/2024: Let me start by saying that the toilet smells as if it was open to the homeless... You can smell the ammonia in the air, it's hard to breathe. There are pieces of paper on the walls that are stuck even above 2 meters (they look as if they were first soaked and then someone threw them on the wall.) The place itself dirty tables wiped sloppily, floor not wiped or swept under chairs and tables, dirt. Everything is sticky... I was waiting for a while and I was stuck to the floor, I had to pull my shoe harder... The food was OK, but cold... And it was made in front of me... I haven't eaten at McDonald's for a few months, I was tempted because it was something quick. I needed to eat and use the toilet... Never again

13/04/2024: The worst customer service. The lady is very impatient in taking my order, she doesn't listen to me at all. I see the previous reviews all about her, why don't the management consider customer reviews ? Coming to the food, they have the best Singapore noodles in Dublin.

29/10/2024: AVOID WORKING HERE !! I can speak as an employee as opposed to a customer. Was working as a delivery driver here for an evening. I was the only driver for what is famously known as a busy bank holiday weekend for deliveries (other restaurants plan ahead and normally have 3-4 drivers on these type of weekends). They were very rude, constantly complaining badgering me during a very busy evening and was also sworn at by the chef, which was very disheartening as I was trying my best as the only driver to get all the deliveries out as fast as possible. Treat your employees with respect first and naturally service will get better !!

28/10/2024: I had used this place a lot. I had a €25 voucher and ordered a meal. After 1.5 hours I eventually got through on the phone to be told the delivery car had broken down. No message. Nothing. I might get the food in 45 minutes. I asked for my money back. Absolutely useless service. Avoid

12/12/2024: I got a spice bag and bubble tea. It was rly good value, €10. It was yummy but my stomach rly hurt afterwards.

04/01/2025: Part of my New Year's resolution is to avoid this supermacs when I'm hungry waiting for the train cause the chicken is always under cooked . Any other supermacs is amazing but I will never go here again been disappointed time and time again

24/12/2024: I recently visited Supermac's at Heuston Station with my 5-year-old son, and the experience was really disappointing. While ordering, I asked the staff if we could eat inside, as I had a feeling they might be closing soon. The lady assured me it was fine. We sat down, and all the staff, including the manager, saw us but didn’t say a word. My son had just started eating his burger when we were suddenly told we couldn’t stay because they were closed. I explained that the staff had said it was okay, but the manager just replied that it was fine "when we were open"—this was literally only a couple of minutes earlier. We had no choice but to take our food to the seating area in the station. My son couldn’t even finish his meal, and the entire situation felt poorly handled. I’m disappointed by the lack of communication and care shown during our visit.
