From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a fantastic atmosphere that perfectly blends great energy with genuine Irish hospitality. A special mention has to go to Gareth behind the bar. He made what I can honestly say was one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had. Beyond his skill as a bartender, his charm, easy-going nature, and friendly personality made the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find someone who can make such a great drink while also making every guest feel right at home. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or settling in for the evening, The Rag Trader delivers. Great cocktails, great people, and a fantastic vibe—it’s a pub that’s well worth seeking out when you’re in Dublin. its always a place i stop by when im in town and never disappoints

08/06/2026: Love their vegan chocolate gelato. Great flavours of sorbets too - limoncello is top! Recommend for anyone dairy free. Never had the crepes or waffles so can’t comment on them

27/11/2025: We got takeaway there, it was delicious, and the service was very friendly. You can order online. Update: dining in is just as good! The place is pleasant, service is great, and the food is excellent. It's usually busy, make sure you book ahead. The whole menu is good, not just the sushi and ramen!

05/06/2026: The food here is amazing, especially the butter and ketchup made by the restaurant themselves—they're delicious! I've never had butter that's so soft, sweet, and salty, and doesn't make me feel sick after eating too much. The soup of the day and the bread were creamy and flavorful, since it's a mix of various vegetables. Oh my god, out of everything, I loved the chicken parfait the most! It was a highlight, a delectable handmade parfait 💙💙. The Irish Beef was also mouthwatering, and its side potato was savory! The service and the interior design of the restaurant were also wonderful. I could feel the Irish sense of lifestyle right away when I walked in! Overall, this was one of the best experiences for me, and I'll definitely come back if I ever get a chance.

03/06/2026: Exceeded my expectations in all aspects, in terms if atmosphere, service, food quality, serving size. Reasonable price as well. Two starters, beer, dessert and coffee for 45,5€. I smelled smoked fish. Wanf to go back to try that.

08/06/2026: Genuinely some of the best food in Ireland, and with dairy free options that are actually good!! I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place and decided to take a chance on it. The cocktails are also amazing, but pretty expensive, which is the only complaint I have. This is definitely a great spot to splurge or celebrate.

11/05/2026: Authentic woodfire pizza in a casual dining restaurant perfect for families or couples. The Impasto48 I had was too notch also love the lasagne. Really good value and high quality food

I have been to the sister restaurant in Kildare Village and I have to say I loved this restaurant just as much if not a little little bit more. The restaurant itself is spacious and airy with loads of light. Will definitely be back again
