The best restaurants in Dublin

19/07/2025: This place came recommended from a local in Dublin. This is exactly what you want for a classic Irish cafe. The full Irish breakfast and Irish coffee were spot on and delicious. I also cannot say enough about the incredibly kind and friendly owner and staff. They made the experience one to remember and were very helpful as a first time visitor to Ireland. Give this place a try for an authentic Irish breakfast and skip all the tourist traps out there!

15/07/2025: Went to to Dublin from Edinburgh for the day (just doon the road) with my daughter and The Stage Door was our first port of call when we arrived in the town by bus . Alan (the manager) had us in stitches 😂😂 from the very start when we were looking at the menu outside, his charm, wit and friendliness made us feel at ease . It was busy when we arrived but waited only minutes to get a table outside as the weather was nice. Got two full Irish breakfasts which was served within a short time of ordering. Breakfast was brilliant Alan 😋👍🍀, will most definitely have a breakfast here again on my next visit , Yeah baby!!!! 😂😂,as your server would say !! Totally made our day, well done you guys 👌

06/07/2025: Absolutely wonderful . the broth is so rich and creamy , The service is fast and the prices are very reasonable . Definitely my new go - to lunch spot whenever I'm out in the city.

10/07/2025: A small eatery with a short menu and only one item I could have for lunch - the vegan version of their mushroom toastie, but what an impressive experience! Apart from the impeccable taste of the food, their service is beyond 5-star. When my toastie was served, I was asked if I wanted a small salad to go with it? Then they worried that I might not tolerate their avocado dressing, which contained a bit of milk. They offered to withhold the dressing but I didn't want to miss out on any novel taste, and luckily I had my digestive pills with me. I didn't realise how substantial the toastie was, until dinner time, when I discovered that my stomach was still happily fulfilled with lunch. I also packed alway an almond croissant, which was superb.

07/07/2025: Este es uno de los pocos cafés que estaba abierto el domingo por la mañana. Todo estuvo muy bien. Mi marido tomó un café con leche, suave y cremoso. Comí un rollo de salchicha vegetariano que tenía espinacas, queso y un poco de calabaza. Estaba delicioso.

01/08/2025: Wow- used to be good. The quality has dropped hugely. Would not recommend unfortunately.

30/07/2025: The food was so good, I had the Palestinian falafel pocket pita and lemon mint lemonade and both were amazing - super flavorful and fresh (and fairly cheap!). Staff is helpful and friendly as well.

21/07/2025: Nice quaint restaurant with excellent pasta dishes. We were craving some Italian food, and this place hit the spot. This would be a strong g recommendation if you're in the area.

Tender? Yes. Flavorful? Absolutely. Falling off the bone like it’s been through therapy and is finally ready to let go? Oh, 100%. It’s so good, you’ll question your life choices up to this moment — like why haven’t you been eating lamb like this your whole life? This dish alone deserves a standing ovation… or at least a slow clap.

28/07/2025: Best place for karaoke I’ve been to. Went for a birthday party yesterday and even though it was late notice the made sure to take good care of us even though there were many of us. The bartenders were friendly and attentive which I really appreciate. They both enhanced our experience. 100% would recommend and 100% will come back :)

29/07/2025: So when I saw those ribs I went over to their mobile bbq unit in Bray on Sunday and I have to say I was very disappointed in my experience ! I was hoping for a decent choice smoked beef but that didn't really do it for me

29/07/2025: Very disappointed , we weren’t informed that , the restaurant have 2 extra charges , in top of what’s is consume ! Then at the end of the meal , when the bill was provided we end up having no choice , but , having to pay 12.5% for service , and as well extra vat , this end up been a extra 150€ on the original bill ! I really thought we should had been informed from those before start eating.

13/07/2025: No prior booking, very friendly staff resulting in a lovely atmosphere. Place was busy yet cosy with the Kitchen in full view. Really impressed by the chefs , no problem meeting my dietary restrictions ( Coeliac). Would go back.

26/04/2025: We had our little girls 2nd birthday party here and it was perfect. Her and her friends had a great time. Jodi looked after everything and made the whole party stress free. Would highly recommend to anyone!
