02/11/2025: I was so impressed by this breath of new life on Prussia St. A hidden gem that I'm telling everyone about. The outside area! Wow! I could have sat there for hours and enjoyed the great music at a just the right level and the surrounding art. Call me a regular!

02/10/2025: the salads are tasty, but they are eye-wateringly expensive - €9 for a tiny bowl. Go to tang just around the corner for better value.

04/12/2025: Went to this place as part of a group tour. Allegedly they were ready for us as the set menu was out. We were there for an hour and a half and never even got our food; waiter had no idea what was going on. No management came over to us. Had to ask 3 different times for our drinks, asked 4 times for food even asked for it to go so we could get back on our bus, never ended up getting food.
I’m sure for regulars it’s better but today they were all deer in headlights. Wouldn’t recommend.

07/11/2025: 8A is the jewel in the crown of the many Monkstown restaurants because its family owned and ran . Donal always has a warm welcome for his guests and the food is to die for, we highly recommend the Bruschetta, fish of the day and Banoffi pie we return many times over the years. It’s also has a great room upstairs for groups of up to 50 for family events as well as live music . In the summer a great place to sit outside and admire the best view in Monkstown .

25/08/2025: Vine aquí con mi pareja, sin tener conocimiento previo de ello - nos alojamos literalmente en un BnB aire enfrente y pensamos que se veía bien!
El personal era increíble; el propietario nos reconoció cada vez que entramos y nos trató como a la realeza.
El personal del bar era muy amable y servicial.
Estaba claro que todo el bar era extremadamente aceptable y encantador!
No podría recomendar más.

20/09/2025: Wonderful bakery right next door to our Airbnb, went there often. Excellent meat pies and pastries.Fresh bread and they'll make you fresh sandwiches. Enjoyed everything that we tried here over our two weeks. Favorites were steak pie and cottage pie. Fair prices.
