The Lotts
Dublin
07/12/2024: always good for reasonable priced meal. the steak is top class
05/12/2024: ### A Festive Culinary Adventure at The Lotts Café Bar
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Lotts Café Bar (9 The Lotts Lower Liffey, Dublin 1), and I must say, it was quite the experience! From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in a beautiful warm atmosphere, enhanced by a traditional bar and enchanting chandeliers. The Christmas decorations added a delightful touch, making it feel like a festive wonderland.
One of the highlights of my visit was the elderly lady serving at the bar, who was the spitting image of Peggy Mitchell from the Queen Vic. She brought a unique charm to the experience, even if her service was a bit reminiscent of Peggy's own—entertaining yet slightly incompetent. It appeared to be her first day on the job, and while she could benefit from some training, her captivating presence added to the quirky ambiance of the café.
Now, let’s talk food! I decided to go for the All Day Breakfast, which was an absolute steal at €14.95. This hearty meal came with toast and coffee, and I couldn’t resist adding another coffee for €3.60 and a chocolate brownie with ice cream for €6.50. However, I was taken aback to find an unexpected €3 charge on my bill for a small scoop of ice cream. While I appreciate that every scoop counts, this felt a bit greedy, especially considering that I could have enjoyed a coffee and dessert across the way at the Ilac Centre for just €6.99
Despite this minor hiccup, my overall experience was delightful and memorable. In fact, I jokingly decided to rename our dear Peggy to "The Grinch," suggesting she might be better suited as a Christmas tree statue or tourist attraction!
In conclusion, I would recommend The Lotts Café Bar for its charming atmosphere and great value breakfast. Just be prepared for a little quirky service and keep an eye on those extra charges!

Eamonn Rea's
Dublin
06/12/2024: Has to rate as one of Dublins top pubs!
30/11/2024: Have never been to this pub but will be on my list. Melissa is a legend. I was in a rush for my train from hesuton to Laois and unfortunately there was no spaces left between the three bike stations at heuston. I rang PDuggans and Melissa picked up. She was very helpful and agreed to park the bike for me, saving me a lot of money and the bike been stolen. I can’t wait till I’m up in Dublin again and I can have a pint in this pub. Great service altogether. Go raibh míle maith agat a Melissa

Bohemian Bar
Dublin
15/12/2024: To be very honest, I only went in there to get change so wasn't there long at all BUT seemed like a pretty good place. If I was a drinker I'd probably make it a new local because staff were lovely (usually if ur not a customer you will not get a good reception in pubs , simply because the staff are so busy and don't hv time for a person who is not patronising their establishment). Also I will go for food as it smelled amazing after just being in the hospital&on the way home starving😋. There's live music, it's spacious but cosy and has outdoor seating rooftop seating. I was there around 3 so it was very Very busy. It's open till 2.30 am, I think ,so that's a plus also it's for the Boh's fans(my team) it's a mix of a trad Irish pub and a quirky eclectic lil treasure u don't find in other cities -a true Dub gem. Well worth stopping by if in the area, I'll be back .These are pics from the outside looking at the crossroads I didn't hv time to take pics inside&it was too full .I had to ad in the super cute bollard hand knitted cosies that charity(I can't think of the name) put on bollard's ALL around Dublin in winter- these are the things that make Dublin still a town to us all. Deffo be& bck, soon.
14/12/2024: Really quality drinks served by extremely friendly staff iin a lively but comfortable setting . I will be back more regularly

14/12/2024: The food was good, as they serve a complete Irish breakfast. However, the best part would definetly be the atmosphere as both the owner and the waiter were very funny and I definitely would recommend anyone who visits Dublin to go here.

Takara
Dublin
10/12/2024: Best ramen I’ve ever tried, worth the 40 min queue
10/12/2024: nice place, nice food, nice drinks .... the only problem is "you need to wait to be seated and sometimes the queue isn't that little"
