13/09/2026: Got seated very fast and we where served by Robyn. The boneless bites fantastic as per usual always a favourite and the pizza is just divine. Couldnt recommend food and service highly enough

07/08/2026: Ordered a few different loose leaf teas from WALL & KEOGH Superior Teas and everything arrived well packed and sooner than I expected. The quality was excellent, and you could tell the tea was fresh. I also reached out with a question before ordering and got a friendly, helpful reply the same day. Prices aren't the cheapest, but for the quality I think it's well worth it.

05/08/2026: The workers today tried to scam me. The woman working today overcharged me by a large amount. I asked for the receipt as I was not offered it, and the woman looked really annoyed and reluctant to, and gave me the card payment receipt instead. I had to ask again for the actual receipt, and then she gave me a receipt that did not seem to match what i'd purchased. I was confused so I went to stand just outside the door (small shop) to look at it and realised I'd paid way more than I should have, so I went back inside. Upon seeing me come back inside, the guy quickly feigned surprise and said 'ooo she accidentally overcharged you by 17 euros!' and quickly gave me cash (I paid by card...) and some unwanted leftover tea they had. If they realised already that I was overcharged, why did nobody quickly come outside to get me? Especially as I was standing right by the door. Why was the woman so reluctant to give me my receipt? Edit: sigh i didn't want to have to dignify their embarrassing review with a reply, but they're claiming 100g of tea cost 34eur then (since they overcharged me 17eur), but the most expensive tea they sell is 19.99/100g (and a matcha at 28.99/100g) so none of what they said even makes any sense.

08/06/2026: This is an excellent 5 star hotel with large guest rooms and exemplary food. The evening choices were outstanding and breakfast buffet had many alternative choices. Service was all right too.

15/05/2026: Nice location adjacent to a large and peaceful park, walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and businesses. In my stay for a week, it was mostly quiet except for a commotion involving hotel staff loudly conversing right outside my door one night. The room was fine, until I happened to take a bath the last day of my stay. The bathwater was BROWN. Checking the sink, it was too. Not brown enough to notice in a glass, but my goodness, I'd been drinking that all week. Hotel staff that night said it just happens sometimes and is safe. Hotel staff the next morning said it was due to construction work, and the plumbers thought it might happen but didn't know where or when. Breakfast was pretty good. Staff was also pretty good.

04/09/2026: Disgusting restaurant with disgusting staff. I witnessed a scene of disrespect with a rider who waited for an order to be ready for more than 15 minutes, then asked to go to the bathroom and the employee said that wasn't allowed, that it was only for customers. Simply rude restaurant, zero stars.

02/09/2026: A fantastic and stylish restaurant in the harbor town of Dun Laoghaire. Friendly service, delicious, fresh, and crispy food, and a Guinness... what more could you want? Plus, the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Dublin area.

07/08/2026: Read this if you’re from Canada 🚨 Cali rolls at home are $6 - here they’re £17.50 😭 and they’re the worst thing I’ve ever had. There was a literal crab shell in the roll, I thought I broke a tooth. The gyoza are so small it’s laughable and they’re also insanely expensive. I need to stop trusting the high reviewed places because they have been the worst I’ve been to in all of Ireland. Can’t trust the Irish judgement clearly.

06/09/2026: With the the kids and they love their Italian food - so in we went Ordered spaghetti bolognaise for the kids - their favourite - and I got myself a pizza Halimia took our order - she was great, nice and friendly, and chatty with the kids and myself - great service Nice little place, although it was busy enough and we were lucky to get a table. Friendly vibe to the place Food was good, so much so that the kids asked if they could return! Happy kids equals happy dad! Job done and enough said!

04/09/2026: Simple place, but food was very tasty and reasonably priced. We got our pizzas very quickly. This is just what we wanted for our lunch during sight seeing in Dublin.

19/09/2026: We came from Germany and only had one day in Dublin. This pub we found by coincidence was just what we were looking for. 100% authentic with a lot of locals and not that over touristic stuff. Very friendly staff. We really had a good time here. Would recommend it to everyone looking for a good pint of beer without too much chichi and a welcoming atmosphere.

19/09/2026: We stumbled across this place completely by chance on our way back from the hotel. At first, we thought: "Well, this looks a bit odd." BUT they have great beer and a super relaxed atmosphere. Maybe this spot isn't what you'd expect to see on Instagram, but who needs that anyway?! Looking for the real Ireland at fair prices? Come and order a pint for next to nothing and soak up the authentic atmosphere. If we're ever back in Dublin and the walk to the hotel is too far, we'll be back at the bar requesting a song!

23/08/2026: I absolutely loved this place! Saw Mimi's on a YouTube video and wanted to find it when I visited Dublin. Turns out it was 2 doors down from where we were staying! Great coffee, great chocolate crescents! The staff was fabulous! Absolutely adored the decor! If I lived in Dublin I'd be a regular..

22/08/2026: Seems like a lovely spot but not very organised. We had booked a table for 12 today (confirmed via email yesterday) but when we got there we were told there was a problem with the kitchen and there was only coffee available. Obviously these things happen but with no effort made to let us know beforehand it really ruined our plans for the day.

25/09/2026: Had every possibility of being great. The appetizers were a hit (we were a party of 4), particularly the smoked haddock omelette and the peas&vinegar. All 4 main were incredibly over salted. The ‘champs’ side dish was incredibly over salted. Not one person could get through more than half their plate (beef cheek & kidney pudding, Sheppard pie, mixed grill, lamb cuts)…basically inedible. We regularly go to top end restaurants; we understand chefs use a lot of salt. We like salt….to a point. All you could taste here was salt. Service? Poured the last half of wine ourselves as nobody could be bothered. Couldn’t be fussed to ask why nobody ate the mains. This should be a must for Irish food; fun menu, nice room, perfect cooking techniques, top ingredients…..ruined by a chef who obviously doesn’t taste what they put on the plates. Perhaps an off night; but inexcusable for a top table.

19/09/2026: Very “fun” menu. The oyster and beef tartare is probably the most unique surf and turf dish I’ve ever seen.
