The best restaurants in Dublin

07/07/2026: We chose Etto based on its outstanding reviews and beautiful photos of the food, expecting a memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, it ended up being one of our most disappointing meals in Ireland. The presentation and execution of the food simply didn’t match the reputation. I ordered the cavatelli, which was gummy and carelessly plated. My wife ordered the monkfish, but it was noticeably overcooked and rubbery. After sending it back, she was chose to trythe pork loin instead, but it was also overcooked and lacked tenderness. And although my wife only took two bites of the replacement dish, it still remained on the bill. We weren’t expecting a free meal, but we did expect better quality control and a more thoughtful resolution given the circumstances. We understand that every restaurant can have an off night, but based on our experience, the meal fell well short of the expectations set by the reviews and I would not recommend it

28/06/2026: The food was nothing short of exceptional - whoever put nduja on mussels should be able to retire from the proceedings of this idea. The service was very attentive, super friendly, and informed about all the meals and wines... The venue was described somewhere as quiet, calm and cosy - it was none of those things, which is hard to pull off positively, but they managed it: a happy, noisy crowd having a perfect time with good hosts and perfect food: silence was not missed. neither was space. we had a great meal and a very nice evening!

15/07/2026: I visited Glovers Alley for the Lunch Tasting Menu, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere. We enjoyed a truly exceptional gastronomic journey, with every single dish exceeding our expectations. Each course was beautifully presented and full of flavour — it was difficult to choose a favourite as every dish was better than the last. A huge thank you to the entire team for delivering such a high standard of dining. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back! Highly recommended. Fingers crossed you achieve another Michelin star soon ⭐ ⭐️it would be truly well deserved!

12/04/2026: We had an amazing meal at Glover’s Alley. We did the tasting menu with the wine pairing and loved every course. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The wine pairings were all excellent and the Somm explained everything to us and was happy to answer our questions. We’ve done lots of tastings and this one was pretty affordable and not too pretentious. Perhaps the ambiance could’ve done with a little more attention, but overall a really excellent meal, exceptional service and a really lovely way to spend our first night in Dublin. Would highly recommend.

16/07/2026: 5/5 and you know why? BECAUSE ITS FREE! As it should be always. Culture is for the people and must be always like this. Even the lockers were free… I mean love it. No lines. Amazing collection. Nice building. 10/10

28/07/2026: The coffee was great, the salted caramel brownie was amazing and the atmosphere very cozy. The staff was friendly and it was probably the first clean toilet in Dublin I saw in two days.

26/07/2026: These are our top eats in Dublin. Grove Road Cafe - for brunch (we went twice) situated right on the canal, breakfast with a view. Irish cafes have a smaller menu on weekdays but still served bangers. Didn't hurt that it was opposite our hotel. Great spot if your in the Camden/Portobello area. Super attentive service, if they spilled your coffee even a little bit, came straight back with a new saucer. Poached eggs always popped, flat whites on point. Benny’s to die for (thats brunch talk for Eggs Benedict). Weekends have a fuller menu including a Frenchie (French Toast) and a Brisket Benny. Weekdays the Poached eggs with pesto was class, and so were the pancakes. We got straight in during the week, and had a short wait on the Sunday

03/08/2026: We went here for the first time yesterday with our 3 year old. We love this style of food and Shaku Maku completely lived up to expectations. Really friendly staff and food was incredible. Thank you for a great experience and will definitely be back ❤️

14/06/2026: The reservation was easy to make and the confirmation was clear. The entrance was super cute, the location chic and even the air unit is disguised. The drinks and food did not disappoint! Best meal while in Ireland!

20/07/2026: Relaxed place to drink your coffee and snack some stuff. You can buy some local art&craft there. Also option to buy coffee beans or upgrade your coffee making gear. Coffee is good and the Almond Croissant too. I can recommend. The staff is very friendly

15/07/2026: Small but well presented curry house, it has a lot of charm. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and relaxed. Food was among the best Indian in Dublin, price was very good too. Both my partner and I agree it is a blessing and a curse to live so far away from it. The Malabar Lamb curry was incredible. They even brough out an unexpected piece of cake for my partner as it was her birthday. We bith have been daydreaming of going back ever since!
