19/08/2025: Visited here numerous times whilst on a stag weekend. Always very welcoming, excellent beer selection and prices. Toastie and a Guinness for 8 euros is great value for money. Easily the best Guinness we had all weekend.

19/11/2025: I had a great experience at Jay Kays Café. The food was excellent—everything I tried was delicious, from the French toast and avocado toast to the eggs Benedict with pulled beef sandwich. The hot chocolate was also wonderful and comforting. The only thing that didn’t quite suit my taste was the Irish coffee, which was a bit too strong for me, but that comes down to personal preference more than anything else. The café has a lovely ambience as well, making it a pleasant spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and would happily return to try more from their menu.

10/01/2026: The staff are pleasant. Great coffee and buns. There is a second floor with Wi-Fi. The place has a great atmosphere: there is an old sewing machine in the window display, and barrels of coffee nearby.

16/04/2026: Our dining experience was ok till it came to paying - we were charged an extra 10% fee that wasn't disclosed anywhere on the menu. That's a sneaky way how to get money out of customers without their consent/knowledge and I wouldn't return there, neither would I recommend it to anyone.

14/04/2026: We followed the reviews and we weren't disappointed. The service was quick, pleasant, and friendly. There was a sea view. We waited 10 minutes because they're popular, but it was worth it. The products were incredibly fresh.
