The best restaurants in Dublin

15/01/2026: We loved it. Despite being in the city center and seeming like a tourist trap, the food was delicious and the waiters were very attentive. Highly recommended.

05/02/2026: It's okay, but very expensive for what it is. If they gave you more, it would be perfect. Four tequeños for €8 if I'm not mistaken, and you have to pay extra for the sauce. €9 for a tres leches cake… oh my god. It's not a place I'd recommend, but as a last resort it's not bad.

05/02/2026: The food is good, but personally, it's too expensive for what it is. It's tasty, yes, but it's nothing new... and besides paying €9 for the tequeños, instead of getting a free sauce, they charge €3 to add it. The cachapa is the same; it's an extra €4 for adding meat, bringing the total to €20, and it keeps adding up. This is excessive.

20/12/2025: Third Space Café in Smithfield is elite. Unreal coffee, unreal food, unreal vibes. From the second you walk in, the place just feels good — cozy, buzzing, and the kind of spot you accidentally stay way longer than planned. The coffee is consistently top-tier (never misses), the food is fresh and seriously tasty, and the staff are absolute legends — friendly, welcoming, and always up for a chat. It’s one of those rare cafés that actually feels like a community hub, not just a quick grab-and-go. If you’re anywhere near Smithfield and don’t go here, you’re doing it wrong. Massive recommendation ☕️🔥

12/12/2025: This could be a lovely local spot however unfortunately its atmosphere seems to be ruined by the staff. Our first visit, we were treated rudely by the manager throughout the night which we tried to dismiss. More recently, not only were we berated again, she was also vocally treating her workers awfully in front of the whole restraunt. Both were disturbing experiences - do not recommend

10/01/2026: I recently celebrated my birthday at McHugh’s of Raheny, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, with standout dishes like the perfectly cooked steak and the venison. The service was top-notch, and Laura, the manager, and Ady, the bartender, took amazing care of us, making the evening even more special. To top it all off, my wife arranged a lovely surprise cake with the staff, making it a truly memorable celebration. I highly recommend this place!

11/02/2026: I was so happy to finally get to visit the famous Turner exhibition mid January. I also discovered the magnificent Harry Clarke and Evie Hone stained glass collections. As it was late afternoon, I didn't get to explore more, but I will certainly return again to enjoy this National treasure, a must see Gallery experience.

13/01/2026: 5/5 seafood spot, hands down. The fish and chips were delicious and authentic - super crispy and perfectly moist. Being able to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere that Howth has to offer is unmatched with a nice warm meal. The service was very prompt and friendly. Be aware that although we were lucky and got a table without waiting, there was a queue for pretty much the entire lunch hour after we sat down. At the longest point, I believe we saw around 30 people in queue. This was on a Sunday, between 11am - 2pm. If I'm ever back in Howth, I would 100% come back here!

03/01/2026: This is our “go to” in Terenure - we love the food and the service. Ricardo always makes us feel warm and welcome and we love the presentation and the food. We come all the way from Canada many times and never skip Bellagio in Terenure. I’d post a pic of one the dishes we had but cannot find that option here - Gracie mille, Bellagio!
