The owner was wonderful and welcomed us in, guided us through the menu after getting an idea of our likes and dislikes and was completely spot on with his recommendations. All the staff were attentive and kind. Can't wait to return on another trip to Dublin.

18/09/2025: Lately they've downgraded in terms of customer experience. This has been my local since they open. Staff was always really sound and would make classic cocktails outside the menu or accommodate certain details, last two times I went there, they were rude and seemed like they were rushing everything and couldn't be bothered even when it wasnt a busy evening. Would hate to see them going down that path.

19/06/2026: Thank you for your response to my previous review. I would first like to clarify that I have evidence showing that I did not receive any calls from either the driver or Just Eat. I am willing to accept that there may have been a technical issue in the communication process, as these things can happen. However, what I cannot accept is being spoken to as though it was my fault that the calls did not come through. My review was never about the delivery time, nor did I make any complaint about receiving my order. The issue was solely the conduct of the woman who delivered the food. I found her attitude to be rude, aggressive, and unnecessarily confrontational when handing over my order. In your response, you repeatedly refer to your team acting in good faith and working hard to deliver the order. I have never disputed that. My criticism was directed at one specific employee and the way she chose to interact with a customer. You also stated that "we believe this review does not accurately reflect the events that took place." I completely disagree with that statement. It suggests that my experience was either exaggerated or untrue, which I find disappointing. Rather than addressing the concerns I raised about the driver's behaviour, your response focuses almost entirely on the delivery process, which was never the issue. Regarding the phone call to the restaurant, that was my father contacting you after hearing how I had been treated. He was responding to what he believed was unacceptable behaviour from your employee. I stand by my original review. My complaint is not about the food, the delivery time, or the efforts made to complete the delivery. It is about the way I was spoken to by your driver. I would encourage you and your staff to consider handling situations like this more professionally in the future, particularly when there may have been a communication issue outside of the customer's control.

26/05/2026: Great food. Amazing service. What's not to like!

21/05/2026: Thankfully just a short flight on the Lyas to Romelagh. This venue could teach other places what true welcome and hospitality means. The staff are excellent with a real vocation and passion for all that is best in intensive care, efficency, and stunning attention to detail. The service, food, and wine were all to die for. Genuinely, it is far too long since we tasted such authentic Italian fare; it was magnificent, sumptuous, and so well-cooked and presented with real aplomb and such enthusiasm ! An honour to have visited for the first time, but obviously not the last . So charming and a great ambassador for Italy, and a wonderful experience for Dublin . 5 stars doesn't even come close as a rating for this unique establishment!

06/05/2026: First meal in Dublin at The Winding Stair absolutely hit the spot after a long night of traveling. The whipped goat cheese salad was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, while the spicy tomato soup was pure comfort in a bowl. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and an ideal start to our Ireland adventure

06/05/2026: Our hotel concierge got us a reservation at this restaurant. The food was excellent. Highly recommended. We had the Dingle Bay Crab as a starter which was fantastic, the Pigs on the Green pork tenderloin which was very juicy and delicious and wrapped up with the bread pudding for desert.

10/01/2026: The staff are pleasant. Great coffee and buns. There is a second floor with Wi-Fi. The place has a great atmosphere: there is an old sewing machine in the window display, and barrels of coffee nearby.

17/05/2026: Excellent food. Very filling! Not many veggie or non crustaceans options. Warm, friendly service. We went on a Sunday night so it was quite quiet - not much they could do about the atmosphere! Recommended.

24/04/2026: A true hidden gem. The seafood was exceptionally fresh and top quality! The scallops were the best we’ve ever had, and the fish fry is easily the best in Dublin. An absolute must-visit, but be sure to make a reservation.

13/06/2026: Free gallery in the heart of Dublin. Some amazing art work from Italian masters and French impressionism. A great collection spread over multiple floors. Get there early as you will spend a day here walking around . This gallery would give any gallery in any country a run for its money.

12/06/2026: A lot of beautiful art, a few by world famous artists such as, Monet and Van Gogh, Renoit, etc. Great place to spend a.morming or afternoon.

21/05/2026: Great ambience indoor and outdoor. They also render to the takeaway pizzas from the food truck outside. Goats gruff. Best place to hangout with some pizza and drinks in summer.

11/05/2026: It was a busy que in the car park at lunch time (as you’d expect) so I thought it might be easier to just park and order at the kiosk. While you can do this, it’s not really set up for pedestrian orders like say Dash at Hole in the Wall. It’s easier to drive through and at peak times there will be lots of cars. The sandwich special was delicious. You can take away or eat at a very pleasant tented area beside the car park.

14/06/2026: This place is totally worth the drive! All the food is amazing, everyone is super friendly, and the music they play is great :) AND they have ranch for their papas fritas! If you’re coming for the birria tacos make sure to come early because they sell out!
