30/06/2025: Pat was a lovely gent! We went in as English couple getting some breakfast, he recommend the breakfast sandwich with relish which was delicious and I had the chicken melt which was lush. He was super accommodating, talkative and had some good banter😂defo recommend whether you’re from Dublin or just a tourist!!! 10/10!
30/06/2025: Honestly legendary. Went for breakfast and got the regular and N.Y. breakfast rolls with the wife. They were life alteringly good. We sadly didn't have time to return the second and third times we wish we could have gone.
Chatted it up with who I assume was the owner and had a good talk. They were offering a discount if you legitimately read 10 pages of a book from their shelf, too. I naturally grabbed a cheese book to look at the pictures, and had a good bit of banter about the finer parts of cheese. Course, looking at pictures doesn't count as reading 😂

08/07/2025: Perhaps I chose the wrong thing as the fish/chips looked good, except for the watery mushy peas! I had the seafood taster which was very average, the scallop was about the size of my thumb nail. I had a side of vegetables au gratin and was far from “au gratin”.
The service was good but when I mentioned I did not think the food was great I was told it’s only €25. I rather felt this was “what do you expect” For the record it’s €26!!

Nicest Thai curry I've ever had 😃

26/06/2025: Great for a quick lunch or a light dinner. You order at the counter, pay and wait at the table. The atmosphere is modern and clean, with nice paintings that catch your attention while you wait. We tried the soup of the day, very creamy and tasty, accompanied by a simple but satisfying BLT sandwich and a turkey bagel.

03/07/2025: They usually recommend 5 to 6 dishes between two people, but the rice dishes and the osso bucco are quite filling so take that into account! The service, food and wine was amazing, we had the Villa des Croix white wine, paired very nicely with the seafood.
Would deffo recommend and visit again

25/07/2025: The staff are so kind and lovely, the food is amazing and the music is relaxing, chairs comfortable and bathrooms clean and stocked well :) I come here every time I visit the clinic nearby and I am never disappointed:)

11/07/2025: Cute place. Staff is friendly and the latte was pretty good, although I prefer a darker roast. Overall it seems a bit pricey for what it is, but I think you’re paying for the location. You can use the free wifi from the nearby market if you register.
08/07/2025: I visited this location several times during my stay in Dublin and really enjoyed the coffee and atmosphere. Nice location for some people watching as well.

01/05/2025: Authur's is a great spot with great food and drink. I have yet to order a side or dish that disappoints or is subpar. The staff are very friendly and kind. It gets pretty busy at times, so asking nicely will get you sorted. I'm a local and really enjoy this place over the other pubs in the area. It has 1 outdoor covered area and another open area. A bit of a darker pub but I like it. It does have cozy lighter seating as well. This is my spot 👌

15/07/2025: My husband and I visited last night while on vacation and had a fabulous meal. Decor and atmosphere are bright and welcoming. We each had the early bird special and everything we had was excellent. Drinks were also very good. Service was top notch. Definitely has been our favorite meal of our trip. If you’re staying at Clontarf Castle hotel nice easy walk to restaurant. Highly recommend.
14/07/2025: We had a large group for my sons Christening in Picassos and the food, service and friendliness of staff was outstanding. They were so attentive, welcoming and ensured all our needs were met (and were very accommodating with a group including young lively children). Everyone was very impressed with the food with a varied and delicious menu. It is fantastic to have a local eatery with such great food and service, we will be back ☺️
