The best restaurants in Dublin

08/02/2026: I have never finished a pizza before.. ever..before tonight ! The pizza here is incredible! Freshly cooked with authentic toppings, no chain restaurant crap here. Options of 10 inch (I had) or 12 inch which Would be sharing. A very basic restaurant with a very special vibe , it’s like sitting in your granny’s 💗 basic menu but food cooked fresh and to perfection .. original paintings from his daughter adorn the walls … we will be back!

06/02/2026: Great place to eat pasta and pizza, Impressed the best pizza I've ever eaten, just the dough and the ingredients very homemade. The pasta is simple and tasty. Spectacular salad. Authentic place without pretensions. We will be back

24/08/2025: Best flat white in Dublin. Staff and owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Great little seating setup outside.

10/03/2026: Had lunch in anglers rest the staff were lovely attentive and friendly , the restaurant is really nice though I would have liked the option to eat at the bright bar area rather than the dark table to the rear of room it's really nice . The fish was good but not quite good enough for the 22€ price tag. The fish portion was quite small . The fish itself was fresh tasted good but I would have expected a little more of it .

03/01/2026: Delicious Pizza and super friendly staff! There was a drunk lady laughing with complete abandon. There was only a handful of us dining. Kanye song after Kanye song played. I wonder what was so funny.

22/10/2025: Absolutely love this place! This coffee shop is hands-down my favorite spot in town. The coffee is always rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed — you can really taste the quality in every cup. The staff are warm, friendly, and always remember my order, which makes it feel extra special. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for both getting some work done or just relaxing with friends. Their pastries are fresh and delicious, too. Highly recommend this place to any coffee lover — it’s a gem!

02/11/2025: Unpleasant experience last night at La Gordita for my birthday. We arrived on time and were seated at the bar. The staff were chatting with the two couples next to us, explaining the menu and taking their drinks orders. By the time our waiter came over, their food was already arriving. No one explained the menu to us, and the waiter seemed a bit sniffy when we ordered a cheap bottle of wine. The food itself was average. The crab salad was a highlight, but the garlic in the prawns was burnt and the Spanish omelette wasn’t a proper tortilla it was just a flat omelette topped with slices of potato and chorizo. Generally boring flavours and small portions. Staff checked in with the tables around us as they got their food - but not with us. After finishing the tapas we’d ordered, we were still hungry. When the waiter asked if we’d had enough and we said no, he just handed us the dessert menu and said “great.” We ended up leaving after about an hour - no dessert - and felt like just getting our coats back was asking too much. Not sure if it was because we looked young or like tourists, but the service felt frosty and unwelcoming. The host did check in once and the lady who took over the bill was nice, but overall the experience was disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend this place for a special occasion. I’d be really annoyed if I’d booked it expecting a treat based on the Michelin guide. We spent €140 on five tapas dishes, were largely ignored and left hungry. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

17/03/2026: Such a treat! We were a table of 6 Italians plus 2 kids, so not the easiest but the service was extremely polite and patient. The food was excellent, fresh and the menu surprisingly varied. Made everyone happy, even the kids

15/02/2026: An excellent local pub with a great reputation for food. Didn't eat on this visit, liquids only ! Great Guinness and great service from all bar staff. My pint was hand delivered to my seat in The Snug. Thanks to all at Fagans.

14/09/2025: Service was appalling, was trying to order a drink was asked to move certain area so I did. Then proceeded to get ignored by the bar staff who asked me to move in so I asked why, again because I was “not in the que” even though there was no designated Que here sign. Didn’t get name but very distinct staff member, Round glasses and mullet working upstairs by the smoking area absolutely awful service. All could have been avoided by better communication.

02/11/2025: Really unusual, cosy pub. We just found it because we were looking for a pet friendly place near Henry St. Lovely little snugs/booths. 80’s & 90’s alternative hits playing. Will definitely be back. Hidden gem

25/10/2025: I didn't eat anything, so it's hard to comment, but the place has a true Irish feel. The bartender is wonderful and helpful. The individual booths and local people are just what I was looking for in Dublin :)

11/03/2026: Although the blueberry pancakes are delicious, I'm not sure they're worth the price. Almost $18.

28/03/2026: It's not a "dingy" pub where the tables tell stories from the last 200 years... The bar area has booths, bar stools at small tables, and the counter... a few steps up there's a bistro area that's great for eating... The food was excellent and the service was attentive. I saw my first rugby match there – really interesting! The music started with folk and later became a bit more modern... I didn't check out the upper floors...

26/03/2026: I came to watch a football match and through all the chaos of ordering food and drinks Luis was the perfect bartender not only with his service but checking regurarly our order. Any bar would be pleased to have Luis as a bartender

22/01/2026: Disappointing experience. The server was friendly but sadly didn’t know how to make my bowl. Was constantly referencing a guide and then when I went to eat the food I saw the portion was nowhere near what it should be. Disappointing as I used to always like Chopped.
