05/03/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was our third time back at the wine and food pairing night at The Westbury, and it was once again an absolutely fantastic experience. The evening was beautifully hosted by Sofie Cutten — the true Champagne Queen, whose knowledge and charm made the night even more special. A special mention to our GOAT, Shakeel, who made the evening absolutely fabulous with his warmth and impeccable service. The food was, as always, outstanding, perfectly paired and beautifully presented. Nights like this are exactly why we keep coming back. Already looking forward to the next one. Highly recommended! 🍾✨

01/03/2026: I've been here with my partner, family and friends about 10 times over the past couple of years. It has consistency excellent service, fantastic food and is very good value for money. Last night I had the scallops, venison and yummy chocolate desert plus a perfect old fashioned Irish coffee. Absolutely perfect meal in a decadent environment, lovely relaxed ambience and right in the city center. My favourite restaurant for consistency and scrumptious food and drinks.

02/12/2025: Wow this is a little hidden gem :) It is in a little random place but once you find it, it is a cozy and warm place to be! Great for kids and the food... is one of the best bang for buck deals in Dublin!!

27/11/2025: This place is gorgeous. The food is carefully sourced, well made and fairly priced, but above all delicious. Sitting by the window with a coffee in an enamel cup is a singular joy. I have noticed it is really family friendly also. The owners have created something really special here.

02/01/2026: Absolutely terrible experience – avoid. The Mad Egg in Liffey Valley was one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had. To start with, the place was absolutely freezing. There’s no proper front door, just thin curtains separating the inside from the outside — in this weather that’s completely unacceptable and made the whole place uncomfortable before we even ate. The food itself was a huge concern. It came out far too quickly, to the point where it raised serious red flags. I’ve worked in the food industry for years across bars, hotels, and restaurants, and I have never seen food prepared and served that fast unless it was pre-cooked and reheated. It didn’t feel freshly made at all. Within hours of eating here, both myself and my girlfriend became extremely sick, and we’ve been unwell for the past 24 hours. I have never been this sick from food before. This wasn’t a coincidence — it was very clearly food-related. I’ve eaten Mad Egg a couple of times in different locations around Dublin city centre in the past and never had an issue, but this location has completely put me off the brand. Between the freezing conditions, the questionable food preparation, and getting sick afterwards, we will never eat at Mad Egg again.

21/03/2026: Popped in for some dinner. Burgers and chips. The ingredients were quality products, our waiter was top notch, it was pricy though. 4 meals & chips and 2 bottles of water €72 *bonus points for having gluten free options

20/03/2026: We were visiting Ireland for spring break. My kids had been wanting to try Irish burgers. After a long day of sightseeing my son found this place. The wait staff is amazing and friendly from start to finish. We ordered 4 different types of burgers, onion rings, and Guinness. Everything was absolutely amazing. Each and every burger was phenomenal: succulent, tender, and flavorful! It was clear the beef was organic and free range. We had the Wagyu, the Brazilian, the Dubliner, and the Classic. The kids love bacon so we added that as well. The sauces that went with each burger was out of this world delicious. The brioche bun was sweet and fluffy. The atmosphere was lively, lovely, and fun!

18/09/2025: Lately they've downgraded in terms of customer experience. This has been my local since they open. Staff was always really sound and would make classic cocktails outside the menu or accommodate certain details, last two times I went there, they were rude and seemed like they were rushing everything and couldn't be bothered even when it wasnt a busy evening. Would hate to see them going down that path.

03/02/2026: I love tacos here but they are very expensive, The tacos are authentic Mexican flavor, I have been trying different restaurants and this one is my top 1 only for birria tacos, I wish they could serve more soup, they only give a little bit of it and the price is very high. Staff is a bit rude, tables are very close and space is too small

04/07/2025: Really enjoyed dinner here midweek, reservation was definitely needed as it was impressively busy for a Wednesday. Food was delicious, service was swift but not too abrupt, a good balance! Will definitely return to try their other menu options.

11/03/2026: I wrote a review here three years ago, and after living in Dublin for over six years, I’m back to say that Night Market is still comfortably the most authentic Thai food you will find in Ireland—and quite possibly in all of Europe. As a Thai native, I’m very picky. Most places offer a 'one-chef-fits-all' menu, but Night Market is different. They actually bring in chefs from the six major regions of Thailand, ensuring that every dish stays true to its roots. You aren't getting a generic version of Thai food here; you’re getting the real deal. The Khao Soi is a perfect example—it tastes exactly like what you’d find in a top-tier spot in Chiang Mai, and the portion is massive. Their Duck Red Curry is another masterpiece, rich and complex, honestly better than many high-end restaurants back in Thailand. My kids are obsessed with the Moo Ping (Grilled Pork Skewers) and sticky rice, which is always a sign of quality. And a pro-tip from a local: do not skip dessert. Their Brownie is incredibly rich and dense; it's hard to find anything like it elsewhere. The staff are excellent, the menu is well-structured, and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality you're getting. Don't even try to compare this to your standard local takeaway; this is proper Thai culinary art. If you want the most authentic Thai experience in D6, this is the only place that matters. Still 5 stars, no questions asked!

05/12/2025: I have passed by this chocolatier’s many times . That changed yesterday. The layout inside is a feast for the eyes , so many beautiful chocolate creations inside . The man serving us yesterday was so friendly . We had a hot chocolate and an americano and had to try the cakes. So picked up a rocky road and a chocolate caramel shortcake. Have to say everything was outstanding. Fell in love with the place. You seriously need to give this beautiful place a visit. I know my hot chocolate and this was one of the best.

12/12/2025: I had a really gorgeous seasonal sandwich here today on freshly-made focaccia inside the very beautiful Powerscourt Centre. It’s always a good bet for a lovely lunch or stop for coffee and cake. Highly recommend!

30/10/2025: My dad bought me a coffee here the day I quit my job, I was a little flustered and forgot how to order a coffee. Lisa was like an apparition - so kind and open and lovely and grounding. What a dreamy place 💖

18/09/2025: Love, love, love these stores, both on a personal level and also from working with them via our brand Scribble & Stone. Vanessa and Marcus have done amazing work bringing the most gorgeous curated collections to Dublin across homewares, childrens and lifestyle gifting. Go and visit the 3 Dublin stores and the rest of the Drury street area for a real taste of Dublin and an all around lovely experience. Indie retail is becoming scarcer and scarcer in Ireland and globally so we really need to support these gems that make a visit to a city special and that in turn support other indie, local brands too.
