25/05/2025: Going to post a detailed review about a recent trip to Little Venice. It's bland. That would be the only word I could use to sum it up. Right, the positive firstly. Staff are friendly, efficient and child friendly. Everything else? Lackluster, dull, boring and bland. It's almost the McDonald's of the Italian world. No passion, no spice, no flavor. It almost feels like it's frozen food reheated. It's a menu that needs to brought back to the year 2025. Granted, you know what you're going to get everytime, whether that's a good thing or not I'm not so sure. The restaurant itself is relatively good. It's light and airy, with plenty of room and as aforementioned staff are attentive and food is served promptly. Car parking? Absolute nightmare. Weekdays, it's ok. Weekend? Forget about it - It's a case of parking on the footpath and hoping for best. All in all, it's fine. Fine for large gathering, fine for a solo lunch, fine for a romantic meal/ first date. However, if You're looking for an authentic, mind-blowing Italian experience then this is probably not your best bet. Also, don't go too hungry - Portion sizes are miniscule and sides are not standard so everything ( onions, mushrooms, veg etc ) counts as an extra and hikes up the bill considerably. Good staff, bland food, nowhere to park and ok ambience.

11/05/2025: I nearly DIED because the Açaí bowl was soooooo so good. The bacon, cheese, jalapeño and onion toastie was incredible as well. Definitely go out of your way to come here. 🥳😍 PS - while I was writing this I got up and actually got another açaí bowl because it was that good.

01/06/2025: 13 of us went to have a family dinner to remember my brother who died earlier in the year. The service was efficient and friendly. The room cool to the point of uncomfortable. The food very poor and overpriced. My started salmon pretty basic and uninteresting. Breads were nice but had to keep asking for more butter. Lamb for main was just okay sauce and gravy not nice, mustard grained mashed potato not nice and unseasoned. Strawberry pavlova was actually meringue not pavlova, the cream appeared not to be real cream far too sweet, a scattering of strawberries. All very disappointing for circa €70 a head. I would not recommend at all and won’t be returning

18/05/2025: A regular at tge Shelbourne but a big treat to step into The Saddle Room. A must do. Everything was just perfect.

18/05/2025: Best batter sausage an chips I've had for a long time ,was heading from city centre to collect from airport an just looked up what chippers were nice on the way an these got great reviews and it didn't disappoint 👍

11/05/2025: First time trying it on Saturday by far the best chipper I've had chips beautiful sausage batter beautiful also ordered smoked cod and burger, beautiful taste of there curry sauce definitely be back.

18/05/2025: Next level Cafe. Cioppino was amazing, twice. Chicken sandwich also great. Service was kind and attentive. Atmosphere and setting was lovely. Def recommend, whether it’s brunch or any other meal.

13/04/2025: Estábamos aquí para el almuerzo del domingo. Tenía calamares crujientes para empezar. Estaba bien, pero claramente no había sido cocinado fresco. La masa tenía esa textura endurecida que muestra que se cocinó demasiado tiempo o fue en su segunda vez. Mi hamburguesa estaba bien. Mi hermana tenía lenguado de limón, que dijo que era excelente. Otro tenía la tortilla, que también estaba buena. El servicio también fue rápido y amable. Lo que realmente me desanimó, sin embargo, fueron dos tipos que trajeron un perro pequeño. Lo sentaron debajo de su mesa, y jadeó todo. Estaban alimentando a la maldita cosa de su mesa, y ladraba cada vez que quería más comida. NO hay lugar para perros (excepto el servicio) en los restaurantes, y me decepcionó que esto estaba permitido. Realmente necesitan cambiar su política a este respecto. En general, no fue una gran experiencia, pero fue bueno en partes. Volvería si cambiaran su política de perros.

30/05/2025: Everything you're expecting from a traditional Irish pub!! Loved the atmosphere inside it, it's very authentic. Now, Darragh the barmaid upstairs at the cocktail bar served me a Spicy Margarita and honestly that's something you need to try, it's gonna surprise you in the best way possible!! (no spoilers)

29/04/2025: I love Luna but was extremely disappointed with what I got yesterday. I don’t think it’s acceptable to charge €9.55 for a burnt sandwich that’s breaking apart. I got it to go so only realised it was charred when I got home. Very poor form!

30/05/2025: We went in for just drinks - we were told we were only allowed stay for 1 hour. Had a few cocktails that were lovely and made well: all are €14

27/05/2025: Would give 4.5/5. Chicken waffle dish is very nice - could have some other brunch variations to the menu. Outside area looking onto the canal is a lovely spot for some food and drinks.

29/05/2025: Lovely little working bakery/cafe on the Long Mile Road. Excellent fresh food on a small menu. Would recommend a stop if shopping in the area.

16/05/2025: Food is nice but the owner herself is surprisingly rude. Very arrogant towards customers and it’s clear the staff don’t particularly like working under her. Shame as the cafe is lovely and floor staff very good.

14/05/2025: Visiting Dublin on business and found this place to be opened late. Great location, friendly staff, great fresh good. Highly recommend.
