The best restaurants in Dublin

14/06/2026: Gino’s Gelato is a hidden gem — rich, creamy, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The pistachio is incredible and the staff are always friendly. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic gelato! Our favourite is Kinder Bueno.

26/05/2026: I'm all about finding good seafood in Ireland and you can't go wrong with The Eagle's Seafood Linguine and the Cod with veggies in Dun Laoghaire. Definitely delicious, large portion and very clearly well made and presented. I will be back for more.

22/05/2026: I booked The Eagle over a month ago for 9pm this evening. I specifically booked The Eagle as they had a table at 9pm and I had visitors flying in so we couldn’t eat earlier. A few days ago they asked me to confirm my booking which I did. Imagine my shock when today at 3pm they called me to tell me they’ve changed the hours of the kitchen and could I come in at 8pm. I explained why that wasn’t feasible, this meant I now had no venue for my guests, their attitude was that it wasn’t their problem. I asked why they were only giving me six hours notice and they admitted that they should have informed me days (if not weeks ago). Whilst they apologised they made no effort to make amends for their unreasonable conduct. I am a local resident. I have booked The Eagle for food reasonably regularly. I even booked it every December for a large party (14-18 people) but I shall no longer be using it as I see how unreliable they are. Big shout out to Benitos in Dalkey who have found us a table last minute, we are very grateful to you. Edit: I just looked at the booking system for The Eagle. You can still book tables up to 9.15pm which makes me wonder did they lie to me or have they not updated their website.

14/05/2026: Hoping for coffee & some food after a very early start travelling to a morning funeral. Unfortunately it was not open at 10.30am as it said on the web, but 12 noon. So the small funeral party had to go elsewhere

07/01/2026: I just popped into this café before work. It was my first time trying coffee there, but it was very high quality, a flat white, without the cappuccino foam ahahah. The coffee was delicious, and the interior was very, very beautiful. I walked in and could not resist taking photos, it was insanely beautiful! Will be back :))

The staff were fast, professional, and extremely attentive throughout our visit. Special thanks to our waiter, Karlo, whose friendliness, professionalism, and excellent service made our experience even more enjoyable. His positive attitude and attention to detail truly stood out and left a lasting impression. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Dublin! 🍀😊

14/06/2026: OMG the food here is incredible delicious, full of flavour🤤, we had kimchi, dumplings, okonomiyaki 🤤🤩 steamed bao buns, the miso soup🤤🤩, and everything was delicious, I think my favourite is the okonomoyaki and the kitchen, also the dumplings, and the miso soup😅, is hard to choose tbh. But definitely come back to keep trying more food. The staff was so kind and helpful as well✨️

13/06/2026: 25 of us headed down for a dumpling making class , could not recommend this place enough ! We all had a great time and so much fun , something different to do in Dublin! Big shout out to Clara and Itamar , their service was impeccable and we’re so helpful and friendly !

06/07/2025: Staff were nice and friendly but I found inside the venue too hot. The hallway had air con but not the main room. The bathroom wasn't clean or up to standard. The bin was a bag on the ground. I slipped on wet tissue at the sink area. My ticket said seating though the limited seats were taking when we arrived so we had to stand for over 2 hours. We actually left before it was over for that reason

06/05/2026: Attended a wedding here and the venue was stunning. We were lucky with great weather and the courtyard is fantastic to enjoy the sun or inside has plenty of room to throw shapes on the dance floor or park up and rest on a cozy booth table. The steak is something I will be dreaming of for the next year or until I can get back there.

01/05/2026: I visited two months ago for my birthday and had a truly five-star experience. While the service last night was immaculate as expected, the food did not quite reach the same standard. The scallops and garnish were slightly burned, and while the steak frites was delicious, the steak was not diced as it had been previously. At this price point, I expect the execution to be spot on. We love your restaurant and look forward to returning soon.

07/12/2025: Sadly not the best stay, double bed made of two singles but the joint was awful so no point. The pool is nothing like the pictures with only 3 beds so you can’t relax there. If you get a room near the front you’ll be awake all night with traffic and people about. Better choices out there
