26/06/2026: The food was delicious and the quality was excellent. However, I felt the portion size were quite small for the price. We also felt rushed throughout our meal, as staff cleared out plates and glasses while we were still eating, which made us feel pressured to leave. Overall great food. But the dining experience could be more relaxed.

23/07/2026: Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this restaurant. We visited Roly's yesterday, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. We ordered two bowls of the prawn bisque to share among the three of us. All three of us tasted it independently and agreed that it had a distinct burnt, bitter flavour. We politely mentioned this to a waiter who appeared to be of Asian background because we genuinely felt there was something wrong with the soup. Instead of taking our feedback seriously, he responded by saying, "It's because you're Asian, so you think it doesn't taste good." We were shocked by this comment. We were raising a concern about the food, not our ethnicity. Whether or not the restaurant agreed with our opinion, dismissing a customer's feedback based on their race was completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and offensive. We also ordered our steak medium-well, but it arrived well done, which was not what we requested. The grilled chicken breast still contained pieces of bone that had not been properly removed, which was unpleasant and should not happen in a restaurant of this standard. To make matters worse, we ordered a whisky with soda water from the manager, but only the whisky was served—the soda water was completely forgotten. Overall, the food quality, attention to detail, and customer service were all disappointing. The most unacceptable part of the evening was the way our genuine feedback about the soup was handled. Instead of listening to the customer, the response was to attribute our opinion to our ethnicity, which left us feeling disrespected. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, improves both the quality of the food and the standard of customer service, and ensures that all customers are treated with professionalism and respect.

22/02/2026: The burger was absolutely delicious. It is a meal in itself. Handy you can eat it in the pub. Great price compared to other burgers you get in most places. Loaded fries are cracking.

06/02/2026: Food was tasting fabulous and the guy was very kind! Guy really has a thing for streetfood and knows what hes doing! At the time of my visit he served the food in a pub so there was plenty of space and it was very comfy! The owner said he will return on his own soon, wich i dont think will have any impact on the quality of his food! Would really recommend!

Staff were so accommodating and helpful from first planning all the way to the end of the night⭐️ Photos from the photographer came out stunning! Food was nothing short of amazing; 3 course meal was so delicious. Layout and presentation of the venue was something so magical that we’ll never forget, we loved every second of it, and thank you to Insignia Nights and Empire for making our night one to remember❤️

03/08/2026: Service was amazing, friendly staff, atmosphere was pleasant. Food was absolutely delicious, quality of meat in each of our dishes from starter to the mains was perfect, I would highly recommend this hidden gem to everyone in the Dublin 13 and dublin.5 areas, plenty of parking in the carpark which is an added bonus. Overall great value for a local restaurant.

12/07/2026: Impossible not to stop! Delicious hot chocolate...both milk and dark. A variety of chocolates with interesting flavors. Elegant packaging for small keepsakes to take home to friends.

10/08/2025: My partner and I left vomiting all night and extreme stomach sickness after eating here, no manager to speak to, to help deal with this situation, was left speaking to the assistant manager who has no clue what she is doing and accused me of lying just to get my money back, told me to go get proof that im sick from the doctor, said her name was Monica just talked over me the whole time on the phone and acuused me of lying and was shouting at me the whole phonecall, absolutely horrible person, has no place in a customer service job, please dont eat in this dump unless you want to be sick and abused

06/08/2026: Took us 1 hour to get food after we ordered..someone even left and gave us their ticket because their food took too long to be served! It wasn't even busy. Food only came right after I asked about it. Come here if you have 2 hours to kill

06/08/2026: Experience here was awful had to wait 1hr on bangers and mash , when it arrived it was freezing we all had to end ours back ! Nothing home cooked about this place ! This lets Ireland down to all the tourists !!!

28/07/2026: Fantastic pub with a great atmosphere! The staff were friendly and attentive, the food and drinks were excellent, and everything was perfectly organized. It was the ideal place to celebrate a birthday. Highly recommend it, and I’ll definitely be back!
