The best restaurants in Dublin

15/07/2025: We went to Buskers on the Ball to watch the Wimbledon final between Sinner and Alcaraz. After a bit of confusion trying to find the actual pub (which was in a basement and as soon as we entered, but that was just our oversight), we found ourselves in a proper sports pub with dozens of TVs showing sports of all kinds. The bartenders didn't immediately understand our needs (maybe I assumed Wimbledon = tennis), but they told us to pick any TV and they'd show the match right there. As for food, there's a wide selection, less so for beer. Except for Guinness, of the other four available, three had already sold out by 3:30 PM, leaving very little choice. Furthermore (though I don't know if this is a local custom or not), payment was required for each round of beer/food, rather than a single bill at the end of the evening (not a positive or negative point, just worth noting). Prices are slightly higher than average, especially considering the pub's central location—we are in the Temple Bar area, after all. There are, however, ping pong, foosball, billiards, and other arcade games available throughout the venue. It's definitely a great place to hang out if you're looking to watch any sporting event.

12/07/2025: I was waiting one hour for the fish&chips and still didn’t get it. They gave me a refund at the end which is fine, but they should work on the communication, since 10 minutes evolved into 60 minutes without the food on my table… Cool place to watch sport and hang out with friends though

06/12/2025: Stopped I on my way by. They serve Kilkenny on draft which is rare. Supposed to have 1 but had to have another. As the barman said, a bird never flew on one wing. Gorgeous pint. I'm not local, but next time going to Croker, I'll go out of my way to drop in

19/09/2025: Super nice cafe with beautiful views of the park, everything very clean, cozy atmosphere, one of my favorite cafes in Fairview, I love coming here.

16/09/2025: 7.30 for a coffee and a caramel slice. Coffe the way l like it, slice the way my mother made it. View of park was lovely. Sat outside until smokers arrived. Family beside me moved off, l moved off and another cyclist moved off. Smokers own the outdoors still.

26/05/2025: Very happy with our experience here about a month ago. Top quality food and the service was exceptional. We visited with out 8 month old baby who was saying "roar" all the time after visiting the zoo , and the staff members were very kind to him. ❤️

20/12/2025: Very expensive, even for Dublin. Had eggs Benedict with what was supposed to be crispy bacon, it wasn't, and the hollandaise sauce tasted of vinegar but the worst was the unfriendly service, wouldn't go back

11/12/2025: Small café in a good central location, but expensive. The quality of the eggs Benedict and coffee wasn't very good. The eggs weren't cooked properly and were overcooked. There was so much sauce it was almost soupy. The bacon was too salty. The Americano was served in a watery bowl.

26/10/2025: We decided to have a take away and return to the hotel. By the time we returned, the fish was still crisp and golden, the batter light, the chips thick and fluffy. Simple pleasures, impeccably done.

07/12/2025: I had a great time at this lovely and safe venue. It draws a very nice crowd with a good atmosphere. Fantastic drink choice, good cocktails. Will 100% return. All of the staff here are truly exceptional, shout out to the cloak room guy (I believe his name is Scott? His fabulous mink scarf was called Mojo and Jojo anyway 😂) What a marvellous human, and a pleasure to talk to. We had a wonderful time here, well worth the money.

30/11/2025: Absolute class of a place. Staff is very friendly. Fair play to Viky, he's an absolute legend!! Helped me out to recover my leap card from the dance floor. One of the best spots in Dublin. Has everything.

09/11/2024: Just had the single worst experience in a restaurant in Dublin in a long number of years... the steak was bad, the sauce was just wrong and the attitude of some of the staff was unprofessional. More expensive than the equivalent restaurant in town.

22/05/2025: Got an almond croissant, very stale and also burnt on one side. Not impressed. To be honest Other pastries and delicacies looked good and staff friendly. If I hadn't driven away before i tasted it, i would have returned it..
