29/10/2025: Not gonna lie might be one of the best chippys I’ve had. It’s always a good sign when a chippy makes you wait rather than getting something out from under a heat lamp. Very fresh not overly fatty and comes in proper paper not a horrible polystyrene tray. Well priced too 12-13 euro for a big portion.

This place has quickly become my go-to spot for shawarma and chicken wings! The food is always fresh, juicy, and packed with flavour. Their signature chicken wings are incredible — perfectly cooked, full of taste, and not too spicy.
The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. They go out of their way to make sure you’ve got everything you need and that your order is just how you like it. It’s rare to find a place that consistently delivers great food and great service like this one.
Highly recommend to anyone craving quality food made with care!

08/10/2025: Getting the evening ferry? Stop here first and have really superb fish and chips, some of the best I've ever tasted. Beautiful succulent haddock, light crispy batter, chips with no grease and even the mushy peas were definitely superior. Served in a box with tartare sauce and a lemon wedges. Gosh I wish this was my local chippy!

18/10/2025: Went here for the first time the other night and I can definitely say it’s the best chipper I’ve ever been to. The food was unbelievable and the staff were so nice, felt like we were at a 5 star restaurant with samples and everything. Would highly recommend.

04/06/2025: Contained in the huge English Market SC ,this place stands out from all the other exceptional vendors. Just a small stall with usually only 3 workers, it can turn out food to die for. All sandwiches are make rite on the spot. You can customize or order any of the house specials. Grab a special, find a quiet spot, (not possible) and enjoy.

13/11/2025: Some of my other reviews show i am not a fan of Supermacs but this restaurant in Carlow is a complete exception. I've been three times this year and its one of the best in the country. For a start its always spotless. Tables, floor and toilets. The staff are always friendly and actually bring your food down to you. The food is always great, always hot. How other Supermacs can't come down here and see how its done is beyond me. Thanks again folks.
01/11/2025: Had lovely little family lunch there. We all had some form of chicken, and kids had icecream deserts. Very friendly counter staff, and indeed nice comment's in particular I heard from neighbouring tables delivery of meal of "your outfits are lovely" (children dressed for Halloween). It was a very pleasant experience.

21/07/2025: I ordered a burger and a soft drink and decided to sit in. They threw more than afew free chips which is a lovely touch and will make me come back.
The chips are thick and almost have the consistency of double fried chips. Easily the best chipper chips in Dublin. They have a crunch on the outside and are super soft and fluffy inside.
The burger had fresh ingredients, plenty moist with sauces, onion and cheese.

07/11/2025: I ordered through Just Eat for collection, but when I arrived, the restaurant told me that a driver had already taken my order and that they couldn’t give me another one. They told me to just cancel it, saying that “many people do that” as if it were normal. After that, they spoke among themselves in their own language and completely ignored me, which felt very disrespectful. To make things worse, Just Eat is now telling me they can’t do anything since the order was for collection and not delivery. It’s a shame because the food is actually good, but I wouldn’t recommend this place based on how they treat customers.
21/10/2025: Great food and service. The Meal Deal at €14.50 is probably the best deal in the city centre...big serving of noodles, a spring roll, prawn crackers, and a can of soda. Friendly staff and your order is ready within minutes!
