12/03/2025: This chipper was quite the interaction the chicken burger gave me a stingy hole just like keven did 😉. There was loads of fighting going on and people headbutting each other quite the experience was like watching goats headbut each other. Bossman was speaking in gibberish almost like he was casting spells even the money in my hand started to float I don't know if they need a hygiene check or an exorcism in there all round good experience from what happened

02/11/2024: They don't deserve any stars at all,I ordered a meal at 17.26pm this evening and still waiting on it to arrive.i will never order anything again from this takeaway,very bad service

07/03/2025: Horrible service and extremely rude staff. Walked in to place an order, and the attitude from the employees was awful, just rudeness for no reason. Every interaction felt like I was being a burden rather than a paying customer, as if they couldn’t be bothered to do their jobs properly. The staff clearly had no interest in being helpful or even providing basic customer service. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, and the way they spoke to me was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the food was just as bad—bland, poorly made, and barely edible. It was obvious no effort was put into it, just like their attitude toward customers. Won’t be coming back here again. Avoid if you want to be treated with even a little bit of respect!

14/02/2025: BE WARY of this place. I had the worst experience ever in my entire life, DONOT BUY FROM HERE. The guy called Anthony was the rudest person I ever spoken to. He said *order will take around an hour or even less* then when I called after one hour and 15 mins he said I *told you already it will take OVER AN HOUR*. Why would I agree to place an order that will take over an hour and I only live 10 mins away from it? I agreed it will take max an hour or even less. However he started getting rude at me, and when I told him to REFUND me the money back as I already paid for the order and the delivery over the phone, he said *I DID REFUND YOU*. I called 3 mins later, another guy started to take my card details to refund me the money, which indicates Anthony didn't refund it first place as he promised. This place its a RIP OFF. If you can't do delivery for any reason, just say to the customer, NO DELIVERY ONLY COLLECTION TODAY. we will understand. It doesn't even deserve one star but have to submit one in order to put up my review.

11/03/2025: We went in to get coffee and a scone. There was a cashier/waitress behind the counter with a short, shaved hair style. She was incredibly rude, made us wait, and when we asked what the pastries were, she told us and walked away, completing ignoring us again and starting cleaning. It was not busy, no one else was waiting, and there were several staff.

09/03/2025: Long, long, long, long waiting. Have been queuing for 40 mins, ordered and paid for the food, and another 20-minute-waiting. The food was ok but the portions was different.

16/11/2024: All their dishes taste like tomato sauce with a tiny bit of spice mixed in. Not sure how this place gets any return customers. They also forgot our side sauce which we paid extra for.. Never again..

02/11/2024: I’ve ordered from here a good few times. The food is always spot on, but the delivery is terrible. I’ve had to ring up the last three times I’ve ordered to see what was going on. Delivery took two hours and by then the food wasn’t as hot as it should have been. I’d recommend the food for collection, but delivery is such a bad experience it would ruin it for anyone. At the end of the day, if they communicated the delays, or even shut down delivery if they’re overwhelmed I don’t think any of it would be a problem.

21/03/2025: 2nd time I have been served Full Sugar Coke when I ordered Coke Zero. The first time this happened I was eating in and advised a manager who dealt with it promptly. This time I was getting Take-away and had drank half the Coke before realising it was full sugar. This has serious implications on me as a type 1 diabetic and the rest of my day will now be spent trying to manage high blood sugars and get them down. I would’ve called the restaurant to speak to a manager if it was easier to find a phone number.

08/03/2025: Taught I'd treat myself to the new philly meal to then arrive home with no chips 🤦‍♂️ how can so many people working there mess up so much... it really must be a gathering of all the people with not enough braincells to hand out a correct order.... and ps the phone number on their receipts doesn't work...

21/08/2024: I am so pleasantly surprised!!! I always went to the other Chinese as it looks better had better reviews but woman in the big restaurant on the corner was so rude I’m not planning on going back there. So here I came and was delicious!! The best won ton soup I had very aromatic so very happy with that rest of the food delicious too!!! Defo best Chinese on Donabate!! And so cheap!!
