The best restaurants in Fingal

16/10/2024: I ordered Sherpali chili chicken, which I’ve ordered many times before. However, they served it twice with a sweet red sauce, which isn’t what I expected from the Chef’s special. the food quality seems to have declined, and it no longer feels like an authentic Indian restaurant. It seems they may be adjusting their recipes to cater to local tastes rather than staying true to actual flavors.

24/06/2024: Ordered over the phone. Went to collect and was told I had to go to another restaurant around the corner to collect.. no one told me over the phone. Eventually got my food, totally bland, got lamb dish and the lamb was covered in fat. No flavour at all and very greasy. Disappointed I spent €65 on takeaway.

03/11/2024: Best spice bag here, always flavourful and delicious. Cashiers are always nice and friendly as well.

26/10/2024: Got food out of here last night in bits since 5 this morning wouldn’t recommend this to anyone

11/10/2024: Overpriced substandard food . Wouldn't order from them ever again. Waste of money. Order took 90 minutes. €70 order. I live less than 3km away. First time customer. Wouldn't order from them ever again. Chicken starter had none. Nan was like rubber.

24/08/2024: I’ve tried to give this a go a few times now. When it opened a few years ago it was really nice but this is the 2nd time I’ve tried it in a year and it is terrible. I ordered garlic chilli masala with prawns. It was like spicy tomato sauce. The prawns were like rubber and had the worst after taste. The sauce doesn’t even look like it has any spices or veg in it. It’s just purée. It was like a gravy. Last time I will order anything here. It’s clear whoever is cooking has zero interest in what they are doing. Shame

31/07/2024: small portion lettuce was the best thing in my doner tray garlic sauce tastes like sour cream, chips were baked nice but tasted bland, doner meat was green tasted absolutely diabolical and it was microwaved. my dog wouldn’t even bother eating that i ate it about 10 minutes ago and i feel sick i don’t know how to explain how bad this place is anymore god forbid this place don’t recommend this place.

27/10/2024: A chipper should take 5mins max... this place takes 25mins every single time even when there's nobody there... get a bloody grip

18/10/2024: Where to start #Vinegar is diluted to a tasteless water #Specifically asked for ONLY cheese and ketchup and got no cheese and no ketchup but loads of onion amd mayo #Lump of grease for batter on the batter burger #Full of drunks and when i clearly couldnt reach food and drinks due to drunk men standing at the counter that wouldnt move , staff member just walked away instead of passing me my order

01/10/2024: Make sure the prices on the board correspond to them on the till. Chilli chicken shredders €5.50 on the board. €5.75 on the till. I said to the sever and all I got was sorry about that.....

19/09/2024: Food not so good to be honest. The spice box combo was filled at least 30% with onions, and quite tasteless. It also seems to be quite expensive compared to other restaurants in the mall, as the meal only consists of that box and a drink. Not really recommended as there's plenty of other options in the area. The guy at the counter was nice though.

19/10/2024: Do not go here. €11.40 for a breakfast "burrito" that has 1 sausage, 1 bacon, and 1 egg. Incredible! Finished the tiny burrito in 3 bites. Should be closed down. Greedy enterprise.

03/10/2024: If you want to pay full price for have a bowl, this is your place. The portions are really a joke. Go to SoMa instead!

12/09/2024: Ordered chicken and chips again last night after a great experience last time unfortunately the quality has gone downhill it was disgusting! Rang them to tell of my experience to be told repeatedly by a manager the chicken is lovely ☺️ Avoid this place!

28/07/2024: Got curry chips. Did not enjoy. Sauce was minimal and gloopy to point of nearly solid.

27/06/2024: This is supposed to be an Irish bar at an Irish airport. What did they do? Remove all the stools from the bar. The whole point of an Irish pub is to mingle and be social. Especially at an airport with people from other countries. I have great memories of chatting to people at the bar here. I asked the staff and they said it was to make room for service. There is about 10 meters of bar there. You don't need 10 meters of a service area. Clearly the staff don't want the inconvenience of having unnecessary conversation with the customers.It's an anti-social/anti-Irish move in my opinion

08/05/2024: Ordered my pint and staff gave it to another customer. Barman banging the Guinness glass of the counter trying to get some life into it. Walked out.

08/11/2024: Really poor experience. I chose this lounge as Dublin airport can get crowded at times and I wanted a bit of peace and quiet and a bite to eat. I was flying late afternoon so I wasn’t expecting hot food, which was just as well. I took a salad from the grab fridge and made a coffee and served myself with a soft drink. The young man who checked me into the lounge was friendly but the staff in the lounge were rude. One lady walked past me several times and avoided eye contact and made it clear through her body language that I wasn’t even getting a hello from her. The lounge itself is pleasant enough and I actually really enjoyed my food, but there were about three other passengers in the lounge at the time and I wasn’t acknowledged or offered service once. I don’t expect fawning service, but if you can’t smile at a guest and say hello then that says a lot about you as a staff team. I don’t know if the staff had a bad day but I’d be mortified recommending this place to anyone, especially as it’s over €40. Really poor value, visit only if you can’t avoid it.

25/10/2024: Good selection of food - salads, sandwiches, goulash and mash, veggie Thai curry and rice plus a variety of snacks! Quiet ambient music (almost like being in a spa!!) Food was good quality, fresh and plentiful. Which from an airport lounge is probably as much as you can hope for.
