20/06/2024: My husband and I, and friends, had been great supporters of this restaurant, as we loved the food, service, convenience. Just before Christmas 2023, my son and my daughter each bought us a voucher for 100 Euro. Due to illness, we did not go out very much in early 2024, and decided to use the vouchers when our son came from abroad in April 2024. However, we were dumbfounded when we read Lucinda's article about the closure of the restaurant, a couple of weeks before our planned visit. I cannot understand how the people in the restaurant sold the vouchers, one on 16th December 2023 and the other on 24th December 2023. Surely they knew they would not be operating in 2024? We were sickened over this.

Jones Garden Centre & Mrs. Jones Farm Kitchen

16/10/2024: Hi just been around jones shop and then into the kitchen for a bit of lunch with my 92 year old mother ( she loves jones). I have to say the staff could not do enough for us. They were so helpful in getting us a table as the place was hopping. The food is just amazing. I would highly recommend Mrs jones kitchen and the gardening Centre. Will definitely be back.

03/07/2024: Nice cheesecake BUT could have done without someone else's lipstick on cup. Only realised after drinking from cup. Absolutely disgusting. No excuse. Feel physically sick. Some much for cleanliness following Covid19!!!

24/07/2024: This restaurant is without a doubt THE best food parlour in swords. Ok, very little atmosphere to be experienced, but that also applies to the rest with an exception or two. However, the food, service and staff cannot be faulted. We've been dozens of times now over 2 years and the service is extremely prompt, friendly and very reasonably priced. Guys, do not miss the taste experience that is this restaurant.

28/04/2024: We went for a date night and had chicken goyza, chargrilled chicken ramen, chicken katsu rolls and skin on fries. Everything we had was delicious and presented beautifully. They have 2 cocktails for 16 euro and the strawberry daiquiris were very good. Prices are very fair for the quailty of food and the staff are all lovely.

11/03/2024: Three of us were here for a Mother's Day lunch. Nice setting, bar was cold. Menu options not great and we were not impressed with them not having a vegetarian sandwich option, strange in these days when so many are opting for a vegetarian or vegan diet. The food menu made the sandwiches sound gourmet but they were far from that, I would say just basic with a big price tag. One of us ordered the mash with chicken and it was totally tasteless. We ordered 2 glasses of Chardonnay and I'd lay money that it was Sauvignon Blanc. Disappointing experience.

25/02/2024: We had a family lunch for ten in Feb 2024 ( we've been a few times) and always find it an excellent place to gather - the staff are professional, friendly and efficient and the food is fine. The Jameson Bar bar is where we eat but we've also used the Seaview lounge upstairs and a private room - and always find it is a reliable hotel for eating and family gatherings.
