The best restaurants in Fingal

28/06/2025: One of their signature dishes is “Crispy Chicken Wings” with hot spicy sauce. I was not disappointed, they were great. Ordered the full portion with a side of onion rings, great snack meal. Service was good.

03/06/2025: The food was just ok. Our fries were barely warm. My burger was flavourless. Waste of money and calories

12/10/2025: Wonderful professional operation serving good seafood. Waited a few minutes for a table for two (but bigger groups longer). Seafood chowder was excellent but didn’t have time to make the most of the full menu. Hopefully visit again 🐟🐠🍤🦪👏👏👌

30/09/2025: A place where you can breathe in an Irish atmosphere and eat typical dishes, especially fish-based ones, really good. The oysters are excellent even if a little expensive. Fast service.

12/12/2025: Terrible place, disgusting avocado toast - avocado with a lot of lemon, very old, stale bread, inedible 🤮🤮

12/12/2025: It's hopeless. Super expensive and disgusting! 🤮 The avocado was sour, topped with a huge amount of chemical lemon juice. The egg was okay, but the bread was hard. I couldn't finish it. I won't even think about ruining a sandwich – this place was amazing. You can ruin a sandwich.

31/10/2025: Moved to swords this year and decided to try fingal cafe in the hopes of finding a good chipper in the area. Really disappointing that they do not freshly batter the fish. They have a drawer filled with essentially part cooked fish (likely frozen and defrosted as needed) that they then put into the fryer. Because of this the batter is crispy on the outside but is mushy closer to the fish. A very short sighted way of cost cutting. I was hoping this could have been a place for us to continuously return to over the years but unfortunately I will never be back as the food is not up to scratch. At 35 euro for 2 fish and chips with sauces you really should be trying to do better for your customers fingal cafe.

01/01/2026: Ordered a snack box with chicken breast. What I got was possibly a deep fried pigeon, more bones than Glasnevin Cemetery. The chips were rank also. 2nd time in , the 1st being the blandest quarter pounder I've ever had but put it down to a bad day at the office. Never again. Avoid. Sorry Jimmy, but it's a no from me.

15/11/2025: The coffee is unfortunatley always barely warm lately! It feels like youve to drink it within 2 minutes or itll be cold. Lovely staff though!

25/10/2025: I went for coffee with my partner my friend and her mam today (24th October 2025) me and my friends mam went up to order our drinks and we were left waiting over 10 minutes to be served even though their was more then 2 people there to serve people when we eventually got served my friends mam told the girl at the till what we wanted and what way we wanted them she got such a horrible look from that girl I went back to our table because I'm in a wheelchair she was still in there 10 minutes later waiting on our drinks by this stage she had hers but waited for the rest so by the time she got to the table her drink went cold which is ridiculous I don't recommend this shop

02/09/2025: Both of my daughters got food poisoning from this place, ordered 2 Spice Bags and a Chicken Satay dish...AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

10/07/2025: Never in my life have I experienced takeaway food this horrifically disgusting. The chicken with orange sauce looks and tastes like worms in orange juice jelly goo. I am genuinely shocked that this is legal to serve to paying customers. Unbelievable. 0 stars.

17/02/2026: Just another boring mcdonalds. Kids like it I don't as the quality and source of meat is not irish beef. Imported Brazilian beef as per irish farmers.

17/02/2026: Second time to arrive late and it wasn't open. Website says 24 hours on Saturday but it was closed so don't waste your time arriving. Two other cars were behind us and had the same issue!
