The best restaurants in Fingal

29/09/2025: I rarely leave reviews, but my experience here was disappointing enough to share. The staff were extremely rude and dismissive from the moment I walked in. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of great coffee shops in the area where the staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel welcome — I suggest going to one of those instead.

17/07/2025: Dropped in for a quick lunch today, on a Thursday. Wasn't too busy so didn't take long at the counter. Went for the quiche with side salad at €14.95. After waiting for 20 minutes it finally arrived. It was a tiny slice with some beetroots, a tea spoon of coleslaw and spinach leaves...that's was it!! The slice was so small I was lifting up the spinach leaves to see if there was any more hidden. Total rip off!! It measure at about an inch at the widest part into a point.... I won't be back. Shameful

11/06/2025: Chaotic, low quality and high price. Long long waits for mediocre food. It is clear that the staff are trying their best under difficult circumstances. I don’t know who is running the place into the ground but they need to stop. Now.

27/09/2025: Doesn’t give you the option to choose between a thin or regular base on pizza on Just Eat. When called the restaurant, guy on the phone was dismissive and rude.

09/11/2025: Best takeaway food around and the restaurant is lovely aswell. Tandoori chicken is really good.

18/12/2025: Ordered 2 burgers meals and got only the fries and the drinks, the burgers missing,and the delivery took almost 2 hours,and they don't answer the phone, stay away from that place.

04/11/2025: They had no chips and offered onion rings instead. An absolute joke

05/08/2025: We had a lovely lunch at Jones today. Honey glazed ham with good portions. Lunch for two with Coca-Cola for two. €37.00 Good price for what we got. Only Negative not much for young children.

23/06/2025: I had a deeply disappointing experience at Jones Farm Shop and Cafe recently. After a very underwhelming lunch where the sandwich bread was stale and the quiche was overheated and rock hard, I bought chocolate macarons from their food shop. Shockingly, after my daughter ate three of the macarons, she got sick. When we got home, we discovered the reason, the macarons were almost a month out of date. Selling expired food is completely unacceptable, especially from a place that presents itself as a quality farm shop. I will not be returning, and I STRONGLY urge others to check what they’re being sold if they choose to shop here, expired food should never end up in a customer’s hands.

09/10/2025: Desserts are good, but I had the worst coffee of my life. Also the girls are veeeery impolite. It was 15:20 and they wouldn't let us sit because they close at 16:00... lol We sat inside anyways🤣

03/06/2025: The staff is not very friendly. Today I came for a coffee, after 5 minutes of getting my coffee the staff asked me to drink my coffee and leave because the facility is closing. I had to drink coffee by force. I don't think it's done that way. It would have been much more polite to say before I ordered that I wanted the facility to close soon, because then I wouldn't have ordered at all, but would have gone somewhere else.

21/11/2025: If they served real lamb on the kebab it would be a whole lot nicer than any of the other kebab shops in the town. The chicken is always tasty

13/12/2025: From a person who will literally eat anything, my delivery tonight was beyond poor. The Pad Thai especially was the worst I have ever eaten. Completely tasteless garbage. I wouldn't feed it to a dog. I ate from here early 2025 and it was grand. Something seems to have gone wrong in the meantime.

10/12/2025: Ordered a takeaway from here using deliveroo: a pad prik haeng with chicken, with jasmine rice. the item even had a "(hot)" in the name, but it was almost completely tasteless. I'm not fond of extremely spicy or over seasoned food, but this was really bland. this dish is one of my favourites in other restaurants. I felt bad for spending money on a takeaway. To their credit, the rice was nice and hot (pretty simple thing tbh), and the delivery was quick and easy (they deliver it themselves and don't use deliveroo guys). The delivery guy was also nice and friendly.

17/09/2025: Double espresso and ham & cheese panini at Dublin Airport. The sweet tangy mustard makes it. Absolutely delicious!

02/09/2025: I spent 7.95 euro on a chicken tikka wrap. Absolutely no flavour at all. Utter waste of money. I would never purchase again from shop. I wasn't expecting miracles but a half decent wrap would have been most welcome.

30/12/2025: Dirty, slow service, below par food. Disappointing

17/11/2025: A magnificent place. The staff is incredibly attentive to customers, offering a very friendly and considerate service. Furthermore, the menu is very comprehensive and includes options for those with allergies, and everything is absolutely delicious. Without a doubt, it's a highly recommended spot.

06/12/2025: Ordered food and it was not delivered 2 hours later though the app said it was delivered. I would not recommend this take away.

05/12/2025: Don’t get the fish box unless you love pure batter and no fish …. Also got garlic mushrooms with no garlic dip , they went straight into the bin after tasting one !! Won’t be going back there again

03/12/2025: I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel I have to after this experience. I ordered two meals — a quarter pounder and a chicken wrap meal — and waited about 15 minutes in the chipper. That wasn’t a problem; I expected to wait. The real issue came when I got home and discovered they hadn’t even put the chicken wrap in the bag. I rang them, and instead of apologising properly, they just told me to come back and collect it. By the time I returned, my chips were cold, and the wrap itself was awful. Honestly, the service was careless, the food was poor, and the attitude was disappointing. I won’t be going back. Rotten experience 🤢🤢🤢

24/11/2025: Ordered a delivery. The man on the phone took 10 minutes to take my order as he was busy serving other people as it sounded. Went for a shower so therefore wasn’t on my phone. There was also other people at home to answer the door but no one came to the door. I Came out to 8 missed calls. When I rang back they said they were at the house and the woman said she never ordered food. I told them that I’ve been waiting so they never came and they realized they brought the food to the wrong address. They asked me if I still wanted the food and I said yes and they said they would remake it as an hour had passed. They arrived 5 minutes later. The food was cold and they gave us a free small bottle of Coke as a “sorry” the delivery man decided to give out to me for not answering my phone. While I told him I was in the shower and he was in the wrong as I gave the right address in the first place he told me that the shower was an excuse and that next time answer my phone and he won’t be at the wrong house. Very extremely rude man that then told me that I won’t be getting food delivered again.

25/05/2025: disgusting. Don’t know what happened to this place. Prices keep rising every time I go there, over 4.30 for a bag of chips I now believe. Disgraceful stuff. The chips taste like hot farts and have zero flavour in the slightest. Never going here again.
