21/08/2025: Had a full irish breakfast here today. Really fresh and tasty with a decent mug of Barry's tea. Highly recommended. The girls serving were very efficient, polite and friendly. Will be back

05/09/2025: Possibly the worst coffee I've ever tasted. If you're running a business charging €4 for a coffee, employ people who know how to make them properly.

19/12/2025: A surprise lodged between Portmarnock and Malahide. A zero frills family Italian restaurant. Friendly service. It's set up for families and local community. Food was excellent. Good value. Buzzing atmosphere. Must be amazing views looking at Lambay Island when the days are longer.

28/10/2025: The best food!! So tasty. It’s the only place I want to go for Nepalese Indian food. Love love the Saag!! And the staff are so friendly.

18/09/2025: This place is great shout if you’re in swords. The value for money is competitive for the area and I loved the atmosphere of the place. The layout was well spaced and felt open. Our service was great and our server was attentive. Will be back for sure!

01/12/2025: Place was lovely toilets not attended to at night packed with Xmas parties everyone merry except the staff who barely smiled and looked like they don't want to be there

30/11/2025: No pictures taken as the food was looking amazing, couldn’t help it! The waitress was super friendly and attentive. We sat next to the kitchen and could see all product was fresh and was done at the moment (for example the burgers) Will come back go sure!

21/11/2025: We have been going to the orchid for 40 years and have had some lovely times there,but Friday night 21st November was a disaster we booked table for 7.30 and we still did not even order at 8 o'clock. I must say we asked to move tables when we arrived as we were in a bad corner down the steps which is never used. we booked a week in advance and to be treated like this was deplorable. When I asked about ordering we were ignored and left sitting we were shocked and left straight away. Sad to say we will never go back they seem to be taken over more with the takeaways then the people in the restaurant.

26/10/2025: The menu was surprisingly extensive. Complimentary prawn crackers whetted our appetites, and we tucked into crispy spring rolls (more noodle and mushroom than pork, lifted by a necessary sweet & sour sauce), deep-fried chicken wings (crisp but a little overcooked and overly sweet from the honey), and juicy pan-fried pork dumplings with black vinegar. We shared a main of chicken in black bean sauce with green pepper and onions—flavourful and satisfyingly fresh—on the side, a simple, egg-laden fried rice. Drinks included Sapporo beers and a reasonably priced Table Mountain Sauvignon Blanc.

19/11/2025: I popped into Seomra Tae in Malahide on Monday, hoping for a relaxing cup of tea and a bite to eat, but honestly it was quite a disappointing experience. The place was clearly understaffed there was just one girl trying to do absolutely everything. She was taking orders, serving tables, clearing up, and trying to manage the till all at once. She looked completely overwhelmed, and although she was doing her best, the service was incredibly slow and a bit chaotic. It really wasn’t fair on her, and as a customer it didn’t make for a pleasant visit. For a busy spot in Malahide, I expected better organisation and more staff on duty. Unfortunately, I left more stressed than when I arrived. Not somewhere I’d be rushing back to unless they sort out their staffing issues.

26/10/2025: Lovely scones, brown bread, and tea. Staff was friendly and prompt. Overall a super spot for an afternoon snack.

05/09/2025: Pleasant service, generous portions, the food we ordered for collection was all delicious and tasted fresh & vibrant. Would recommend.

16/08/2025: I decided to take a gamble on their limited edition special at the moment, the naan lamb kebab, it didn’t disappoint at all, full of flavour, and only €8

18/12/2025: Was. In the premises last week and back in today . Sebastian remembered my order .. Very impressive and courteous. Food perfect and place clean ..

08/12/2025: I just placed a large order instore, I had some adjustments to the items, Shemmy the gentleman on the till could not have been nicer and more patient with me, I then wanted to pay in cash and had a load of change, he again was so accommodating and helpful, never made me feel like I was being awkward when i know I was :-) Great guy to have dealt with, excellent customer service.

28/12/2025: I am oredring for delivery often from Sanuk and the food is always very nice, delivery is quick and profesional.

15/12/2025: Had a lovely meal there on 2nd December for birthday girls n food was amazing 👏 chef came out to chat too which was much appreciated and staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend this restaurant 👌
