07/06/2026: I like butlers but please teach and ask your staff to prepare the coffee or mocha every time with same consistency, there is no perfect formula , each employee makes in different styles which feels bad to taste some times

24/07/2026: Had the spicy wings and a toastie a few weeks ago while soaking up the atmosphere during the Malahide Castle concerts, in the pleasant outdoor seating area. Very fresh and tasty plates. Have returned twice for a swift pint of Guinness and it's been consistently good and creamy each time. Recent renovations have upgraded the experience and it's now a much more comfortable and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy small bites, excellent pints and nice wines and cocktails. Adrian the manager is hands-on and knows his customers. 5 stars every time.

12/07/2026: While the food at this place was actually good, the service from the member of staff waiting the outside tables in this place was one of the worst I've experienced. It took a very long time for my partner and I to be served and when he eventually got round to taking our order he did so in a confrontational manner. Not only did he forget my partner's order but he responded sarcastically to questions and acted generally uninterested. When I asked what lagers were available on draught he responded "it's a bar", like the answer should have been obvious. Another oddity of this place is that you have to pay before receiving your food, which is very much not standard. I do wonder if this is to stop people from cancelling orders due to slow service speeds. Wouldn't come back here.

30/07/2026: Won't be back! Called in for dinner and a drink recently before the Moroon 5 concert. The staff were very attentive and service was fast. The wine is slightly overpriced but we ordered a bottle as we were out for the night. We had a shared starter, two main courses and a bottle of wine. The food was.... just nice. Starter was just ribs which were lovely however, my main course was very salty which was all I could taste. My husband said his was just ok. When we asked for the bill, I noticed it was more expensive than it should have been so went through it. I was absolutely disgusted to find that the restaurant add their own tips to customers bills. It is expensive enough to eat out these days without adding your own tips to customers bills! I think it should be at the discretion of the customer to decided no. 1. if they want to leave a tip and no. 2. how much they make the tip. I am aware that we can tell them to remove this by law but my husband never wants to cause a fuss so we let it go and paid it. To be honest, had I not been with my husband, I most certainly would have told them to remove the tip from our bill on principal. I think it's very cheeky and people may not be aware this restaurant does this. I certainly won't be going back again. UPDATE SINCE IT'S NOT POSSIBLE TO REPLY TO RESTAURANT COMMENT DIRECTLY - To the person who replied to my review - Please reread my review. I think you are mixing mine up with another customer. We DID NOT ARRIVE LATE! We arrived to your restaurant at approx. 6.30 "before the Maroon 5 concert" and did not order from either an early bird menu nor a set menu for €22 as you suggest in your reply to my review. We were indeed offered a set menu (because we arrived early enough) but the choices on it did not appeal to us. As said, we ordered one starter to share and two mains from the A La Carte menu. Nor, did we order a HOUSE WINE. We ordered a bottle of Malbec from the wine list given to us. Therefore, our bill did not come to around €80 as you again wrongly state. I'm not sure why you say these things in your reply. Also, I at no any stage, in my review refer to tips not being given directly to staff (which of course they should be). What I said, and I am repeating myself here - it should be my choice as a customer, if I want to give a tip and for how much. It should not just be added to our bill without customers prior knowledge or approval.

09/07/2026: We ordered pizza take away and came back in 20 min to collect it. With the pizza in hand and with 2 kids, I asked if we can use the bathroom. And the waitress said that no, as it is just for sit in customers. That we should try some public bathroom or the pub up the street. we were paying customers, so can Not understand why we were not allowed to use their bathrooms. Pizza was okay, pity this policy spoiled the experience, so definitely wont order there again.

16/06/2026: The website not updated. It says they close at 6 today, Tuesday 16th, but actually closed at 5!!!! Had about 5 mins to have coffee as only got there 4.45. Head Office need to act.

10/05/2026: A nice selection of sandwiches and wraps so I had a lovely breakfast wrap. Staff were polite and friendly and most importantly the coffee was delicious. My Fiancé was asking me all day to bring her to here for a muffin and an Ice cap and she left a happy lady.

Fantastic luxury chocolates that are family run and operated on every level. If you are looking for true authentic Irish handmade chocolate, look no further! The cafe: Like the chocolates, completely family run and operated - service is always beyond exceptional and the food is fantastic. Great spot to call into - highly recommend!

28/06/2026: Ordered food the drink fridge didn’t look on looked in the back aswell and there was a fridge with meat not even on now I have food poisoning and building is runner down

03/07/2026: A wonderful, cozy restaurant with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It feels very homely and relaxing from the moment you walk in. We tried the chowder, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The garden is beautiful as well—it creates such a peaceful setting. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

03/08/2026: Busy place, get in early for a spot. There is stable service. You can order from a kiosk or at the table. Food does takes a good 10 minutes. Comfy seating including outdoor area. Menu is not complicated. Plenty of brunch options. I got the loaded hash browns. The chilli oil topping was a bit too salty for me. So ask them for a side rather than drizzle. Loaf'd potatos with poached eggs was enough. to fill you for the most part of the day. Great for brunch and chat.
