12/02/2025: The one star is just for the items I ordered below. Supermacs Balbriggan - just had a coffee and fries. Coffee was weak, no taste of coffee. The fries were luke warm. Myself and my son frequent Supermacs a lot and are normally very satisfied with what we order,👍 however, I never order plain fries or Americano &. Unless there is a big improvement I won't be ordering those two items again. Don't let this experience put you off Supermacs if you haven't already tried them. Their Taco fries and ice creams are delicious.👍 Also, toilets are always spotless👍

14/02/2025: This premises has no low seating for those with mobility issues. The photos on the website are incorrect. I had to change venue at the last minute for a small get together with friends. I was absolutely mortified. Disgraceful in this day and time

11/02/2025: We had a wonderful evening at Harry's from start to finish! We were warmly welcomed, coats taken and given plenty of time to look at the menu. The specials were explained very clearly. The menu is varied and it's apparent that the produce is of a very high quality. The focaccia bread was particularly good in the dipping oil/ vinegar and the recommended wine pairing was excellent! The glass of red with the cheeseboard was also really good! The dinner in its entirety was delicious! The service was first class, the ambience buzzy and overall, we had a truly memorable, fun night. Already looking forward to the next visit and so delighted that Harry's is local!

Owners Grace and Andrew offer a local , intimate yet exciting menu and sophisticated wine list ; fabulous options by bottle or by the glass . Small groups or large .. Highly recommend

02/04/2025: We had booked this place nearly a week in advance. When we arrived there seem to be a good buzz in the place. We were then ushered into a back room that was freezing cold empty and completely void of any atmosphere. The table which we were seated was filthy dirty, obviously hadn't been cleaned. I asked the waitress 3 times to clean it, I ended up having to do it myself . The whole evening was a disaster really.

01/04/2025: Portions have been halved in recent weeks, no longer worth the price. Ordered tonight and the chips and popcorn chicken were half their usual portion size. Aswell as both being undercooked and soggy which was very disappointing. I tried ringing the restaurant but was not provided any assistance.

25/02/2025: Got the taco fries on Sunday night. I could nearly count the chips! The box was half full. I really wanted the chilli beef rather than the chips but I found it difficult to find mince!!! As for the cheese? A shop bought cheese sauce was the majority of the cheese which softened the chips to bits. They used to be great!!!! But back away from buying them now!!!! What a rip off for such a large cost!!

25/03/2025: I visited the place with a friend and we only got drinks, this is why I am not grading the food. Otherwise Excellent service, comfortable place, quiet.

07/12/2024: We had a lovely time dining in the Playwright Bar. It had a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable seating. The food was super tasty and the portions were generous. We were very well looked after by Ionut who checked on us regularly and was easy to chat to. We look forward to dining here again during our next visit.

29/03/2025: The food here is made with care. We usually get the calamari appetizer. It’s garlicky buttery goodness. Their prawn appetizer, gamberi in salsa, is also very tasty. You can’t go wrong with their pasta dishes. Our favs are the Cappelletti di Carne and the Tagliatelle alla Salsiccia. For dessert, their tiramisu “parfait” is gorgeous.

15/03/2025: Review of Eden Cafe - The food was very nice but all my days, the staff where extremely unfriendly, I’ve rarely felt so unwelcome. When I asked what was the difference in the Eden burger €19.95 on the paper menu and the smash burger on the menu board which was behind the counter, which as €17.95, I was firmly informed they where the same and the price was €19.95. It was a very good burger :). Not all but most of the other staff were also so unfriendly. Even asking where I can get some table water, the response was as if I had asked for a something differently. The bottle of tap water was amongst half full bottles of water at the counter beside the coffee machine. When I asked, could I take the full bottle, I was snarled at and told ‘ye’. It was very odd but I’m sorry to say it’s a one star due to the staff.

02/03/2025: I'm a coeliac and lactose intolerant. There was nothing on the set menu that I could have but a lady, whose brother, she said, incidentally had the same problem as me, came out of the kitchen and produced the most fabulous meal specially. It was better than you would get in a 5 star hotel. If I could give a 10 star review, I would. I don't know her name but she hit perfection.
