24/10/2024: We a family of 3 came in for breakfast today. The food is excellent and the girls serving were very friendly and helpful. Really highly recommended look mam no hands 💯
21/09/2024: The kids ordered the same thing, but only one dish came out to the table. So we were left waiting on the other dish to be prepared while we ate.
This is not the first time this has happened to us here, and it just a disappointment on the experience as the food is nice.
Previously, our order never arrived, sorry, but I need to give this negative review as this has happened a number of times in the past.

25/10/2024: I would like to give a special thanks to the guy working in the kitchen who made sure that I got exactly what I wanted 🥺 the lady working in the front is so accommodating and so nice like.. I am the most indecisive person and I described what I wanted and she knew what I meant. The burger was a “surprise me” order and I am not only surprised, I am satisfied🫦 I am definitely going back and would suggest that you (yes you) go give them a try too. This was tewww goodt😍
Look at the pictures and tell me if you are a spicy (hot🌶️) lover, would you not go for it? I know I am am GOING BACK🤌

23/10/2024: Popped in last Friday by chance while killing time waiting for a flight to land, nice coffee, apple cake went well with it, staff friendly and welcoming.
09/10/2024: Insomnia Portmarnock is my oasis. As an older cyclist, I need motivation. So, with each particular spin, we have favourite coffee stops. With that said, our Glasnevin Swords Malahide Portmarnock Howth spin involves a return leg via Portmarnock, and that becomes our natural stop. Portmarnock Village is not a Malahide or Howth but a pleasant gateway devoid of tourists but has a lovely feel of authenticity of a small local village full of friendly people. Insomnia reflects this attitude, and don't be surprised if a stranger strikes up a conversation or when sitting outside a friendly nod and a quiet hello.

12/06/2024: Was in the church this morning,lighted 2 candles and donated 1 euro as suggested! Offer up a Mother Mary rosary prayer, went to the Cafe next door and have a American coffee. Came out found a 10 euro notes on my bicycle!

24/10/2024: We visited here recently, and were able to get a table without a reservation which was great. The staff were friendly but really forgetful and inattentive. The waitress who took our order forgot one of the drinks, and then the water. The most frustrating thing was them not even checking in on us once during the service but swooping in to clear plates as soon as we put our cutlery down. This was despite us not being finished the majority of the time. In the end we let them take things away because we had enough and just wanted to leave. Wouldn’t recommend coming here even though the food isn’t bad. The wait staff ruin the experience. Severely lacking experience.
09/10/2024: We visited this restaurant Tuesday ,the food was OK, but the staff we found unhappy staff or jus grumpy !! They bought the Atmosphe down
There was special s on in the restaurant they didn't even say they had on !! Would not recommend lot s of more choice in malahide village !

24/06/2024: Had a tea here with gluten free and vegan Snikeroo from Clever foods. It's quite hard to find a place to have a tea that has gluten and lactose. It has 3 tables that are great to spend some time under the nice weather. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
