The best restaurants in Fingal

28/05/2025: My son ordered the “pancake stack” when it came it was one medium pancake and two tiny ones about 3” in diameter. Not much of a stack. I complained to the young girl serving us but she said that that was how they always came! This is false, we’re had them many times before and the were usually 3 large pancakes.I wasn’t about to get into an argument with her so I waited Until I got home and rang looking to speak with the manager Sylvia! Who was never available. I guess she’s used to people complaining and has decided to avoid them. Won’t be back!!!!

25/05/2025: Worse food ive ate to date avacodo taste gone off and they thought subsided the taste with lime i got the eggs avacado presintation of the food was awful the garnish of chilli flakes wore poured on the side of the plate, pancakes wore rubber and fruit with them was defrosted and stickey and the coffee was out of a uncleaned coffee machine ROTTEN !!! Place needs a professional/hygine inspection !!

09/05/2025: Gorgeous authentic Italian restaurant, would highly recommend. Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Malahide, booked for a group of 6. Atmosphere and friendly service were just excellent, food and wine were delicious. Thank you so much and we will definitely be back!

04/05/2025: I’m really surprised this place has as good reviews as it does. Staff are lovely and the place is ok considering the size but ambiance is a miss - no music, not much to the tables no candles and when we arrived the table was half dressed missing cutlery glasses and napkins. Fair enough the place is busy but the food is just ok. We left the majority of it on the plate, balance of flavour isn’t there and the “kids margarita pizza” isn’t adapted for a child, the sauce is too sharp and the cheese was barely there. Adults might enjoy that with a glass of wine but not kids. Overall food was just not worth the 100€ bill at the end for 2 adults (only one pint on that) and a 2 year old. I regularly eat in authentic Italian restaurants and this is not a hit.

11/03/2025: The renovation last year was great, and the atmosphere is really nice while watching my kid play tennis. However, I was disappointed to see that the toastie with cheese, which I used to get for my son before practice, was no longer available—only meat options were offered. Also, tables were left dirty for a long time. I hope this place doesn’t deteriorate because it has a lot of potential. Good WiFi, nice place to sit with a laptop.

02/06/2025: The pizza here was the best I’ve had, the pizza base was amazing and the dip was great. The jalapeño cheese balls were the best. We got the €35 deal which included a 16” pizza, 8 jalapeño balls, garlic bread, dips and 3 cans. Worth it and would definitely order again.

01/06/2025: I ordered using the pizza dog app 2 hours later i called the store to ask if they had any update on my order i was told that they remembered it and was the put on and off hold for 10 minutes while being asked random questions eventually a manager camr to the phone and could give me no answers if the pizza had even been made nothing was done to try make the situation right they told me they could refund my order or i could wait another hour for a pizza bearing in mind that it was 11 at night allready and i ordered at 9 the way i was treated by staff on the phone was totally unacceptable and no effort was made to help the situation

29/04/2025: My first and last time , I went today afternoon for a coffee with my mother .accidentally I spilled my coffee ,the waiter ran she said nicely it is OK don't worry I told my mom how nice she is . She came back with a new one I told her thanks a lot .she told me you have to pay again I told her you didn't tell me when u took the cup of my hand she said my manager refused to give u new one for free. First I never ask myself for new one second she didn't tell me I will replace it for u, third how stingy is that manager. 4:50 euro Is nothing for me but that disrespectful, stingy behaviour from the club house.

18/02/2025: My nephews wedding on Sunday was the best place ever Bar staff lovely A Beautiful place couldn't say anything bad because it was fabulous all staff so thanks so much for making members at your CASTLE 🏰🏰

15/10/2024: They have served me food here that's inedible. They have screwed up my orders. They have embarrassed me with an overly loud argument in front of everyone. They have even flirted inappropriately with my partner. Sure, it looks the part... but I live in Portmarnock and I don't even consider this place as an option anymore.

29/05/2025: Absolutely shocking service today. Waiting 1 hour for soup and waffles for my daughter. The couple beside us sent their food back twice as they were waiting also 1 hour approximately and their food arrived cold on 2 occasions. They handed it back and refused to pay. It’s our last time on the premises. Disappointed as not a large choice in lusk for food.

22/04/2025: Been here a few times and had a different experience on every one. The last time was a Friday night as a couple, we probably had the last sitting but it was such a strange atmosphere. There was hardly anyone in the place and we felt a bit rushed out the door. It was eerily quiet and just plain awkward - not what you might expect of a bustling Friday night. Returned recently with kids and again, the place was practically empty and the vibe was just off. Really quiet, teenage waiter grunting at us, there was no ambience at all Even some cheesy Italian music in the background would have helped! I will say the food is good, pizzas are excellent, tiramisu excellent, but they need to rethink the garlic bread - what the hell?! Had a long wait for a bowl of plain pasta for the kids. Also, for the love of god please put chips on the menu for kids! No kids' menu, no option for even a smaller-sized pizza, so not sure how family-friendly it is.

20/04/2025: I was told at 12 on holiday werkeekend the kitchens is not open untill 13 but they are so respectful I love them and the staff was amazing when I got bat at 16 10/10 do go there

04/05/2025: I was overcharged , waitress took our order wrong did not say it back to me didn’t realise till the end . when I addressed it manager refused to refund me and be accommodating, was just rude. As if I was lying asked to check cameras ridiculous ruined the whole experience honestly
