20/10/2025: I'm sorry but just no no no . The place looks upscale and fancy and seemed like a lovely spot for a nice warm lunch. To say I was let down is an understatement . I got a burrito wrap it was cold on the inside hot on the outside and like warm the rest of the way not even a few crisps on the outside to satisfy the extortionate price i paid for what can only be described as a small to medium sized luke warm wrap . Work colleague with me got a bowl of soup that wouldn't have fed a cat and cost hom almost 10 euro. Mine was just as similar in price i paid like 16 euro for a wrap a packet of crisps and a bottle of coke. For something that wasn't even freshly made it was plucked out of a chilled cabinet and thrown in the microwave I'd say . Lovely staff but I'd avoid it cos of the stupid prices for poor food

07/03/2026: Filthy. Everywhere was unacceptably dirty. Nothing is kept clean. That’s a sign of poorly paid, badly treated staff. I’ve been there three times and while the staff were nice enough, it’s grotty. Oh and the loud beeping from the kitchen machines was incessant .

22/04/2025: Been here a few times and had a different experience on every one. The last time was a Friday night as a couple, we probably had the last sitting but it was such a strange atmosphere. There was hardly anyone in the place and we felt a bit rushed out the door. It was eerily quiet and just plain awkward - not what you might expect of a bustling Friday night. Returned recently with kids and again, the place was practically empty and the vibe was just off. Really quiet, teenage waiter grunting at us, there was no ambience at all Even some cheesy Italian music in the background would have helped! I will say the food is good, pizzas are excellent, tiramisu excellent, but they need to rethink the garlic bread - what the hell?! Had a long wait for a bowl of plain pasta for the kids. Also, for the love of god please put chips on the menu for kids! No kids' menu, no option for even a smaller-sized pizza, so not sure how family-friendly it is.

17/03/2026: Was out last Friday with my fiancé for our engagement anniversary and passed by this place on our way for dinner. After dinner we decided to pop in for a drink before we went home as it looks like a lovely place from the outside. We sat at the bar for about 10 minutes and were ignored by the girl behind the bar with the tattoo on her hand. She saw us sit down and never once came over to ask if we’d like a drink. An older gentleman came to the bar and was taken care of straight away by the same girl. After us waiting that long and being ignored we left as soon as this happened. I complained to the doorman on the way out who was also rude and had no interest in the complaint. Don’t waste your time going here. It’s a great looking place with not so great service.

12/03/2026: Went for my child confirmation meal and couldn't of been happier. Service, food and atmosphere was incredible. It made our day. Thank you very much.

27/10/2025: Lovely little spot for a cozy drink and excellent food. Pizza was exceptional and the wife raved about her seafood dish. Just two Yanks wandering the town got lucky when we walked in Malahide Social. Give it a try if you're in the area.

22/10/2025: I went to Malahide Social for dinner last Saturday evening. It was the first time I’d been there since they changed from Mario’s so wasn’t sure what to expect. From the moment I stepped inside to the time I left I had such a lovely experience. Food - delicious and beautifully presented. Cocktails - looked as great as they tasted - shout out to Abbie 🍸 Menu - great selection of food - pasta, pizza, burgers,etc. And very good value. Service/ Team - the team were so professional and very friendly and accommodating to any requests for changes in some of the dishes. Caoimhe and Aileen looked after us and couldn’t have been more pleasant. We met the owner and he was a gentleman. (Sorry I can’t remember his name). It was easy to see why the atmosphere was so good - he chose a great team who worked extremely well together. I made a return booking before I left so I think that says it all. If you’ve not been - make a booking, you won’t be disappointed. If you have been you know what I’m talking about.

05/09/2025: Possibly the worst coffee I've ever tasted. If you're running a business charging €4 for a coffee, employ people who know how to make them properly.

01/08/2025: Had a nice coffee and people watched also had a lovely gourmet sausage roll that they do wasn't that expensive was reasonable.

29/03/2026: The spice bag was a bag or rice. It tasted like rank raccoon poo. I paid €9.50 for a Joyous Garden spice bag and got a bag of cold rice.

09/03/2026: Guys, your veggie burger is heaven...the best in Dublin. But please please please stop over-salting your chips. You're gonna kill people with your sodium levels. Make the food nourishing not poisonous!!!
