16/12/2024: I asked for a Jalferizi and the waiter recommended another dish so I went for it and it was amazing. Indian cuisine is my favorite and I've eaten it all over when I taltavel for work. And this dish was one of the best I've had, although the name escapes me. Which just means I'll have to go back and have it again.
The waiter was a true gentleman and I can see why his restaurant is already so well reviewed 10/10 easy

06/01/2025: I had the Sunday lunch menu which offered a south indian lunch/brunch.
Everything served on the plate screamed South Indian. The food was absolutely tasty & finger licking. It sure does live up to its name.
I would definitely be visiting the place again & would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to experience the flavour variety of India.
02/01/2025: The food was amazing and staff was great. I ordered for a cheesecake cocktail it was the best cocktail I had till date. U had opted for the veg thali and everything was great especially the potato curry which was the best i had.

30/12/2024: We had a family break in Dalkey between Christmas and the New Year and booked a table online based on reviews.
We arrived and were shown promptly to our table. One of our children is a very fussy and plain eater. The staff were amazing they took time to explain the options on the kids menu to our son. When his main course arrived it was exactly as they had described.
He loved his meal. We all loved our meal. The flavours were amazing. All the staff were very attentive.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant

A perfectly delightful dining experience where the food was exceptional (enjoyed my favourite okra, the ambience felt warm and inviting, big thanks to the perfect host, certainly the company added to the whole experience… made every moment unforgettable.
Truly, it’s the people who make the meal.

13/12/2024: Ten of us had a Christmas party at Koyla last night. The food was delicious, as always. I'd like to thank in particular the young girl who was our waitress, whose name I didn't catch, but who was really friendly and patient and looked after us very well. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We'll be back.
06/12/2024: Stayed in hotel nearby, authentic Indian cuisine, very tasty and lovely staff, would definitely return.

27/12/2024: This was THE BEST Indian food I've had in a very long time (if ever!)
Every single dish was spot on, literally wanted to lock the plate clean.
Service was fast and mostly attentive (despite it being packed due to the holiday).
The atmosphere is lovely, but if they don't have a table available, the food is so good that I would recommend you to get take out!

Can't believe how I missed this place for so long. Highly highly recommended 👌 👍 👏 🙌 😀. Their food made my day ❤️. The manager and all other staff are very friendly and welcoming.
03/12/2024: I went to Taza last week and it has been probably my best dining experience in Ireland so far. The staff are very kind and welcoming and are always willing to explain the different foods and help. The price of the food is very good for the portion size and the food as a whole was amazing I couldn't stop trying the different dishes they offer. There is so much variety and flavor in each dish as well. They also offer so many spicy dishes and mild dishes. Each one is very customizable for your spice tolerance which was very pleasant to see. I recommend this place highly and will be going back.

Fantastic authentic, clean, simple food, that tastes great.
12/01/2025: I’ve been visiting Govindas for years, and it has always been a long-time favorite of mine. The food has consistently been of good quality, and available to the everyday person at a reasonable price.
However, I’ve recently noticed that the price of the big plate has increased to €16.75, while the portions have become significantly smaller. Just a few years ago, you could get much more food for no more than €12.
This change is especially disappointing for students like myself, who hold a special place in their hearts for Govindas but can no longer afford to eat there regularly. A decent meal now costs nearly €20, which makes it inaccessible for many of us.

30/12/2024: Fast service and lovely staff but the food is terrible. So overpriced and small portion. 3 pieces of chicken in the tikka massala and sauce is simply tomato sauce. Daata in Bray has different flavour which I find strange as its the same. When I say flavour, you can taste the spices which here it's simply red sauce and chicken. Nor recommend.

03/01/2025: My family and I ordered a take away on New Year’s Day. It was a large order and took an hour to prepare which was understandable. However, the food was barely cooked when we got it home. The tikka masala sauce was the consistency and color of cottage cheese, the chips looked like they were simply defrosted instead of deep fried, the starters were all exceptionally pale and soggy and the Chicken Tikka had no color or flavor. The chicken was also barely cooked. I understand that this was a busy evening for the restaurant , however the quality of food was disappointing . We will not order from here again.
28/12/2024: I ordered 5 fish pakora portions thinking of an average fish pakora starter. Definitely the worst fish pakora ever. A long women hair was inside it. After that I had to through all of the boxes. Absolutely filthy. This restaurant is a shame on the name of an Indian restaurant.
