01/04/2025: Absolutely fantastic! Possibly the best restaurant we have ever eaten in. We had the tasting menu and wine and it was spectacular. The service was impeccable. Friendly, accomplished, knowledgeable and just wonderful! Good, fresh, local, seasonal produce cooked to perfection with some lovely twists of flavour. Would definitely recommend.

17/03/2025: One of the Best Cafe we have tried. The atmosphere is soo relaxing. There are outside tables available, an indoor area overlooking the castle and there is another indoor area which i think is suitable for an intimate date and group coffee date. Kidding aside, the food is delicious 5/5, the coffee is definitely one of the best and the staff is soo approachable and lovely. They really prioritize the satisfaction of there customers. Highly recommended Cafe in Cork. They also have coloring materials for kids so they will be entertain and not to get bored👍🏻

13/04/2025: Hayfield Manor was a phenomenal choice for our wedding. They absolutely exceeded all of my very high expectations. The staff were very friendly, eager to help, the food tasted amazing, the decor and cleanliness of the hotel are unparalleled. They made every effort to make our entire stay at Hayfield Manor wonderful. Jolisha, the wedding planner, nailed every detail that I asked for. John, the manager, went above and beyond in making our entire family feel welcome. I could not recommend Hayfield enough and I will never forget the level of service we received. Thank you to all the staff! From the gentlemen at the door, the servers in the fine dining room, and all the others- you are fantastic. Thank you for a joyful wedding!

10/04/2025: Was in a rush last day in cork it was an amazing menu I struggled to eat number 3 on the menu and just recapping on my visit I did not realize there was moor to the menu the service was very professional the food was well presented the quality of the food was fresh and taste full it has a very high hygiene quality and I will make time to visit again and again on my next cork trips plus the atmosphere from staff and other customers was very welcoming and it was also roomy

10/03/2025: Cuatro de nosotros fuimos a Jacob’s en el Mall el sábado 8 de marzo , ya habíamos estado allí antes y estábamos deseando que llegara. El gerente tomó nuestros abrigos y nos mostraron a nuestra mesa que era encantador, pedimos nuestra comida y todo estaba bien hasta que tomé el primer bocado y me encontré con un pelo muy largo que estaba pegado en la comida, la camarera era muy agradable y me quitó el plato y me aseguró que iba a conseguir un plato fresco y ella era muy disculpado, pedí hablar con el gerente... dijo que había oído hablar de ello y qué podía hacer , las cosas pasan dijo y no se puede volver atrás el tiempo . y repitió esa declaración unas cuantas veces ... . " Fue una vergüenza para el restaurante que me habló abominablemente y el resto de mi compañía quería salir por su actitud, su comida estaba bien y no quería estropear las cosas para ellos. Sé que puede pasar en cualquier lugar pero fue su terrible manera que no pudimos superar , tomaría mucho más tiempo repetir todo lo que dijo , no pagamos por mi comida solo porque le dije que no... .. obviamente no volveremos.

13/04/2025: I used to drink here many years ago, back then it was just as busy as it is today ,with one difference. Back then the place was spotless. polished bar top surgically clean toilets and carpet throughout you could eat off. Today the carpets are filthy ,the toilets disgusting smelling of stale pee.. the whole place is shabby and run down.. What a shame...

23/03/2025: I normally love the Cornstore but recently went there and ordered the Cannelloni, the sauce was very sweet and it was almost like having dessert for main course. Chef needs to review this dish!

23/03/2025: I have eaten here a number of times over the last 2 years, with 3 other family members, & we are usually celebrating a birthday. The food has always been delicious, well presented & the portions are good. The service is excellent, with just the right balance of attentiveness. Almost as soon as we ran out of water or drinks, a server or manager checked to see if we wanted more. Every staff member who we interacted with was friendly, engaging & professional. I would recommend The Cornstore to anyone, especially if you like chateaubriand!!

29/03/2025: Was there as part of a work do. 20 plus people so hat tip for accommodating us. Service was fast and responsive. Ordered the black pudding salad starter which was nice but the pudding a little undercooked (not crispy). Acknowledge this might be a personal preference but still. Ordered fish cakes as a main and they were not great. Dry and lacking seasoning. My co workers seemed happy with their mains. It's a good location but wasn't blown away with the food.

25/03/2025: My family and I went to Isaac’s on Sunday evening, the food was absolutely beautiful the service was even better ! My wife tired to pay with a voucher and she was told that you can only use it in greens, cask and Isaac’s hotel which is completely understandable. Our issue was with the woman that gave us the bill, our server was a young man potentially French and he was so nice and friendly and couldn’t have given us better service! The woman refused to let us tip him to the point where the tipping option was manually overridden and just made the whole interaction very awkward for everyone at the table. So to the guy that served us we really did want to tip you because you gave us a lovey experience but we were just simply told we were not aloud

06/04/2025: Good local bar to go meet friends, watch a match or go for some food. The front bar offers a cosy local bar feel, where you will be greeted by friendly staff and good beer. Nice size tv's fill the bar.

23/03/2025: Great experience! The atmosphere at the bar is super pleasant, cozy, and perfect for a good time with friends. The staff was very polite and attentive, which made all the difference. The food was really good, but I missed having more vegetarian options on the menu. It would be great to see more variety in that regard. Overall, a very positive experience, and I’ll definitely be back!

17/03/2025: Rude waitress who ignored us until we pulled the takeway out to tell us to not eat on the property. We bought drinks for 80 plus euros and she insisted that they dont split bills until she caved in and split it in half. Couldnt do mental math I guess. Cocktails were mid. Atmosphere outside was solid especially at night under the heaters, but soured by the service.

19/03/2025: Fab pub....First time in it on Friday...We'd just had a terrible experience in Crawfords and Co around the corner and the staff in paddy's were like a breath of fresh air....they we super accommodating on a very busy night. They were all really friendly and efficient....great live music on too....the food looks great, can't wait to get back to try that ....thanks for a great night guys...we'll be back soon.......I was back here again recently on St Patrick's day with 2 small kids. The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Nothing seemed to phase them. They were all dressed up to celebrate. They had loads of entertainment on for kids and adults. We only happened upon it but we were delighted. Will be making a beeline for it next year. Thanks a mill guys. Oh and the food is always delicious.
