10/05/2025: Stayed at The Mills for 3 nights April 2025 while on a motorcycle trip with two other bikers. Great rooms, friendly efficient staff, delicious food all in a beautiful setting. Brian G.

25/05/2025: Enjoyed a nice cup of tea and a scone while my other half enjoyed a Bramley Irish Breakfast. Very comfortable setting, really tastefully decorated and you can also purchase freshly baked goods etc.

07/05/2025: Lovely waiting staff especially the young lady that looked after us we enjoyed our starter and main meal but pavlova and fruit I didn’t want cream was a hard tasteless meringue and when we went to pay I was sharing my feelings with owner he told me I didn’t need to eat there anymore I continued to say how we enjoyed other food and asked was I not allowed to share, he continued to repeat and tell me no I wasn’t allowed share and just not come back. I was shocked upset and will not visit again.

28/04/2025: What a treat we had, a superb meal with particularly good vegetarian options. We're still talking about the superb flavours and combinations, loved the beetroot and the cauliflower dishes, but every dish so beautifully presented and tasting perfect. Lovely atmosphere, great staff - take a trip to Watergrasshill and you won't be disappointed.

25/04/2025: Tapas restaurant like no other, was amazed at the quality and variety of the dishes served. Host was friendly, professional and humorous. Well worth a visit, we will definitely be back on next year's tour.

02/05/2025: Myself and my mother went for Sunday lunch, it was absolutely delicious, the staff were very helpful and friendly especially Brian,looking forward to going back soon,actually I think I'm going to make it a regular thing it was so nice.

12/04/2025: Never stayed in Youghal before. Hotel in a great location overlooking the sea, great room with sea view, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, food was lovely and will definitely be back for longer than one night.

03/05/2025: Had breakfast during the week. Food was good , only warm, not hot , which is disappointing. Waitresses were friendly. Outside area was busy which seemed to cause confusion as none of the servers seemed to know which table food and drink belonged to. The whole experience was let down the rude hostess, who has no people skills.

23/04/2025: It's alright it nothing to write home about. It's dark and not very welcoming though it was fairly busy. You cannot go to the counter to look at what Is available foodwise you must order from the menu and then look for a place to sit down it's not suitable for people in a wheelchair as the seating is mostly cubical style. I was not impress by the quality of the food or the building layout but there are really not many options in fermoy we found. It must be the worst town we have ever been in as regards a decent resturant where wholesome food can be got there is no decent down to earth resturants anywhere in fermoy that serves decent breakfasts,dinners etc it appears that all is available are coffee style cafes in the town, they do know how to charge for everything. Not my cup of tea really but others think differently as it was fairly busy when I visited.
