28/07/2026: We went to Ballymaloe House last evening for dinner. It is a beautiful old house in a spectacular setting. It has a calm ambience. Which is also embodied in all staff members. We were warmly welcomed and quickly offered a pre dinner drink which we enjoyed in the comfortable drawing room. Dinner itself was a five course feast. We were looked after by David. This young man is an absolute credit to Ballymaloe House. He offered exceptional service and did so with great grace. Every course was beautifully balanced and perfectly cooked. It was wonderful. The particular standouts for me were the Beetroot starter with creamy Labneh & the Carrageen moss pudding. We enjoyed a Bergerac Blanc which was a recommendation from John the Sommelier. We are eager to return and next time we will, hopefully, stay overnight!

17/05/2026: We had an amazing experience here! We spent 3 nights at Ballymaloe and loved every minute. It is an absolutely stunning hotel in the peaceful Irish countryside. The room was clean, beautifully decorated, had heated floors and a heated towel rack, and the comfiest bed! Our room even had a small patio overlooking the gardens. Service was great as well. The morning breakfast was absolutely delicious and the afternoon tea and cake was a nice way to spend an afternoon. We had the 5 course dinner on property one night- which was also delicious. The employees are all so kind and helpful. 10/10 would recommend Ballymaloe to anyone! And would love to come back one day!

04/05/2026: Absolute pleasure to have met the staff and local patrons to the Lord kingsale. Noreen in particular was more than accommodating and always happy to help with anything they could accommodate you with. Not many places like the Lord and would happily return anytime !

31/08/2026: We recently had takeaway from the New Haven (small kids in tow so we couldn’t wait for a table) and it was delicious! Everything came with a side salad and the chips were excellent! The kids had pizza and scoffed the lot.

06/06/2026: I had dinner here recently and it was delicious. Staff are very friendly and professional and very knowledgeable about their gluten free options. Most of the menu could be adapted for gluten free. Staff were also very aware of cross contamination. I had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.

04/08/2026: Went for brunch having taken part in Clonakilty parkrun. Food and drinks are excellent. Sat outside, great service and a popular spot.

10/10/2026: Ordered food and coffee unfortunately the coffee machine was broken so I had to get decaffeinated coffee the worst of the worst type 😂. The staff however were extremely apologetic even though it was completely out of their control. The food was delicious though as far as I can remember I had eggs on sour bread with avocado. We sat outside in the sun. I would highly recommend Priory.

28/09/2026: My partner and myself had a lovely meal here on a Saturday night. Paul and Helen are exceptional at what they do and I'd highly recommend for anyone to try it. We enjoyed every course. Nothing was too experimental the way some Michelins can be sometimes. It was just good food cooked well with great service.

09/09/2026: A pretty pleasant place. The food is good, though the service—specifically the owner—is a joke. He’s unpleasant and can ruin even the best atmosphere. There are plenty of other places where you can get a good meal. I do not recommend it.

14/08/2026: Everything about this restaurant was absolutely great! The girl serving us was so lovely and friendly. The chicken curry we delicious. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone! The music was relaxing and the design of the restaurant was beautiful.
