15/08/2025: Only qualm I had was parking. It was ridiculously crazy trying to find a parking spot. But the hotel was amazing, staff was great and professional... I would definitely recommend.

10/09/2025: I have been here often but have noted a recent decline, in quality of food and the service. Not all the staff but the majority on the day I visited were unfriendly bar one young blonde woman.
The food was not well presented and was sub par. And there were several dishes not available.
We were seated but had to go and find a staff to remind them to take our order after waiting for about 15 minutes. It seemed others around us seemed to be having the same issues and experience.
02/09/2025: Popped in on our travels in the late morning for Tea and Toast, everything was lovely, we were served graciously, lovely pup, would recommend it.

08/09/2025: Their brunch in a bun was pretty good, less salty than an actual full Irish breakfast! Their smoked salmon not only looked good, but was also tasted good!
Great spot for breakfast and the staff are friendly. It’s pretty small though so come early for a table!

25/08/2025: Great service as always, food is fabulous, well worth a vist. (not just pub grub, it's restaurant quality), not local but been coming here for nearly 20 years when west along, its always a good place top stop
10/08/2025: Make sure when you book for dinner that you check they have written it down in the book. We showed up with a big party - having booked a month in advance - and were turned away with the implication that we had made it up. No apology - somewhat lacking in people skills.

Looking for a tip while paying by card after ordering at the counter for food with a tray. So disappointed with this setup. There is a no tip option but seriously....a tip after collecting your food and drinks yourself. Please remove this option. Lots of people beside me disappointed with this also.

10/08/2025: On our way back from Mizen Head, we stopped here for lunch. The veranda overlooks the beach, and it was fantastic in the sunshine. The food was classic but well-prepared.
27/07/2025: The place is filthy, can barely see out the window with the dirt. Also cobwebs on the roof and floor is covered with sand. Toilets were a disgrace

€9 for a glass of average Merlot
€6.20 for pint of Guinness
Outrageous
Also lots of items on menu not available at 6.30pm and the place was nearly empty

11/09/2025: A nice cafe, the menu looked good and the food was tasty. Sadly, the portions we had for lunch were really very small and we both left still feeling hungry. It was expensive and just didn’t feel like value for money, due to portion size.
