Crookhaven Inn
16/10/2024: We had delicious food from them.. Staff was really friendly. smoked salmon was really good.. also we had pasta for kids the soup of the day. I recommended this to anyone who is looking for a place to have food around the area..
16/09/2024: I had visited and enjoyed this attractive venue exactly ten years earlier and was very pleasantly surprised this time to find it was still very much the same.
This time my partner and I first dropped in for a drink, then took a walk along Crookhaven's Main Street and harbour area, returning for lunch a bit later. We ordered sandwiches, both open and toasted, and they were were a real treat - nicely presented with very good bread, well filled, generous and with a tasty salad.
Crookhaven Inn's service was perfect - polite and friendly. All in all, a great place to be.

18/10/2024: Pretty little bar with restaurant on the 1st floor. Great views of the river and harbor at Crosshaven. Clear menu, everything is fresh and tastes great. The staff is very friendly, always attentive without being intrusive. The prices are ok too. Very clear recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic. Everything brilliant.
Music there on two of the nights we stayed, and enjoyed very much.
A lovely big carpark attached to this hotel and the location is great.
Staff couldn't do enough for you. A big thank you to Anne Marie and her colleagues.
Had a wonderful time.
Highly recommended.
19/10/2024: Not staying in the hotel but in the village with friends. The West Cork Hotel was chosen as a place to eat lunch on two occasions. Fabulous food. Fantastic staff. All very friendly and polite. The fish cakes outstanding.

10/10/2024: For a budget accommodation this really does show what is possible. The room was clean, warm, comfortable. I had Wi-Fi, tea, making facilities, a tv, and a good night's sleep. And in the centre of town. And a decent dinner in the pub. Perfect really.

09/09/2024: I haven't eaten here, so im not sure if its a restaurant. But, Anytime I'm camping up at Top of the Rock park or visiting the Drimoleague singing festival for a gig here, or just dropping in for a drink with friends - I always find it to be a very welcoming bar. The service at the bar is fast and friendly and there is a great selection of drinks on tap and behind the bar. I can't fault this place and I always look forward to dropping in for drinks. I recommend this place as a great little cosy and welcoming bar if you're in Drimoleague and want to go somewhere with friends for a few drinks.

20/10/2024: We love Ballycotton and absolutely love it. Lots of changes happen each year. However, it's a diamond. The Bayview is literally hanging on the cliff & so important to support our hospitality industry. Local hotels are so important & Suzanne Front of House should be cloned,she's brilliant. Genuine welcome & engaging.
Evening dining was delicious.
Loses one star as the Irish breakfast was below par..
09/09/2024: Not suitable for a family with young kids.. we booked a family room and got a double room and the response at reception left alot to be desired.. oops and we might sort it tomoro.. avoid if bringing kids

31/10/2024: This very great location townhouse allowed us to enter the centre of the Kinsale Community so easily…the breakfast was served in a very comfortable setting and the food was very good and a nice wide variety was available…my room was very comfortable…the staff were full of great information and proved quite helpful with requested information..
23/10/2024: Our stay was great and the building was old and but beautiful. The beds weren’t very comfortable and there was only a couple of plug ins. If you’re going for a piece history then this is your place, if you’re going for comfort then this isn’t.
