05/10/2024: Wow we were so lucky we stopped off at this place on our road trip. Its was such a hidden gem for us. The food is so delicious words cant ever describe it. The fact that its in a small village just makes it better.

04/11/2024: Lovely atmosphere, thought the menu seemed a bit simple til the food came. Ordinary menu and extraordinarily yummy dishes at very reasonable prices. Our new favourite kinsale eatery, well be back 😀

14/11/2024: Got a lovely room with amazing views. The staff were friendly, especially the receptionist who was really helpful. Breakfast was great, fabulous room. Would love to stay here again.

13/10/2024: What a brilliant hotel, with absolutely wonderful staff, great rooms, a top notch breakfast and an incredible location overlooking the water with an amazing sunrise! When I go back to Ireland, this will be a must to visit again.

26/06/2024: Very tasty fish and chips! No finished goods, everything fresh. Other pubs or restaurants can get involved. Only the ambience is not nice, even for a snack bar. The owner is very friendly!

05/10/2024: Such a quaint place to dine! We had a drink at the pub next-door and then went over to have dinner and wine at this restaurant. My friend and I split a meal and I swear they brought out two regular portion meals for that same price! The food was amazing and the fresh bread was delicious! 10 out of 10. You must try this!

29/09/2024: Loved this cosy place with its very interesting interior, especially in its back area. Thanks to barman, Max, for being so friendly and welcoming, especially after just having the worst experience ever at the bar on the corner across the street. (I hope that I remembered your name right: the very tall guy.) We met a bunch a locals in the back and had the best craic! Definitely go here! We'll be back too.

29/09/2024: Been there for a couple of pints on a Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere is great, a really nice place.

09/11/2024: Just had breakfast here and it was only ok. First of all is the place looked and felt shabby and in need of a serious refurb, our table was chipped, the chairs were small, uncomfortable, they appeared to have once been velvet with a wood back that need to be replaced asap, mine was also unsteady! Not at all conducive to relaxing and having a chat! I ordered a Cappuccino whilst I waited for my party to arrive, 15 minutes later I was still waiting… The Coffee was only ok, and at 4:50 it should’ve been better, it was also only Luke warm. Onto Breakfast, I ordered the Avo Sourdough Toast with Poached eggs, it sounded amazing as it also had spiced potato and hummus allegedly.. When it arrived, I was stunned by the size, it was tiny, the “Sourdough Toast” was so thin it was nearly invisible, and all I could see were two small eggs, when I did move an egg there was a thin sliver of green on the “Toast” which must’ve been the “Avo”.. There were 7 tiny cubes of fried potato, and half a tea spoon of what was supposed to be Hummus…. The whole thing was finished in 6 small bites, I kid you not.. It was without doubt, the meanest, tiniest plate of food and such a disappointment! I did see people across from me having lovely scones and I was sorry I didn’t have one as it would’ve been better than what I ordered! I had a second coffee as I waited for the others to catch up and paid 21euro for the privilege (not) coming home hungry! I’m sorry I didn’t go to Meadows and Byrne across the road as it would’ve been much nicer in every way!
