15/07/2025: Fantastic food and great staff and atmosphere

09/07/2025: Delicious food! Friendly people. We tried to visit on our first night in Cork but were too late (kitchen closed), the staff so kindly pointed us to what else was still open at that hour. We then tried on our last day in Cork and were very happy with the seafood we received. Personally, I’m surprised by the unexpected Thai - influence!

27/06/2025: Amazing dinner started out with 3 raw oysters and 3 grilled and they were both amazing then we did the tuna tartare. Then the we had the tuna special and kids pasta with bao buns. The whiskey sour was also a must try.

26/06/2025: we cannot praise the food enough. Definitely the best food we have had during our Ireland trip. The cod was exceptional and the ragu pasta was extremely tasty. The staff are very attentive and made for a great evening out.

14/07/2025: Cycled the Midleton Youghal greenway and was looking for a nice lunch spot. priory did not disappoint. Delicious sandwiches and friendly service . I’d definitely come back.

06/07/2025: Stopped by Priory Coffee Co. on a recent trip to Youghal, and it was a delightful find! The atmosphere is modern and inviting, with moody lighting and great music that sets a relaxed vibe. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome right away. I ordered a mocha coffee, and the Badger & Dodo coffee lived up to its reputation—rich, smooth, and easily one of the best cups I’ve had in a while. The breakfast menu was a highlight. I went for the avocado toast on their gluten-free bread, which was fresh and perfectly prepared. My friend got the full Irish breakfast, and the portion was generous enough to keep us fueled for hours. They also have vegan and vegetarian options, which is a big plus for mixed groups. The only downside was that the place was quite busy, so service took a little longer than expected, but nothing major. The decor, with its nod to the historic Benedictine Priory, adds a unique charm. If you’re in Youghal and need a spot for a quality coffee or a hearty breakfast, Priory is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back next time

13/07/2025: We drove 30 minutes to get coffee for a birthday we arrived at 2:40 and went to the coffee hatch to get takeaway coffees. we were waiting to order when a waitress came up to the hatch and said sorry we are done for the day and proceeded to close the hatch in my face I said are you sure we can't get coffees it's says your open till 3 the woman who I presume owned it butted in and attacked me she was very passive aggressive and made me feel uncomfortable she started speaking in a raised tone and gave a speach about how they ran out of ice, we're closed for the day and so on. I think that's completely unbelievable I am certain they would have an ice machine and there were people finishing up their meal so would not be closing till they finished anyway I am absolutely appalled at their service and will never be back and severely recommend avoiding this spot! Worst service ever

26/06/2025: Place was busy so we had to wait a few minutes, however the server/owner not have been more helpful. Small but quality menu. Food arrived promptly and was plentiful. Would recommend either the breakfast focaccia or the tuna melt. Well worth visiting if ever in Kinsale, will be back again!

07/07/2025: Lovely food there last night with my wife, steak was excellent and her fish and chips really good. Cheesecake and brownie for desert was also top notch. Staff were lovely, we were very late but nothing was an issue. Recommend!

30/06/2025: As a local, I'd be in here more often if it wasn't for the absolutely insufferable music that's piped inside and out, because the breakfast I had was really nice. Staff could have been slightly more attentive, I didn't receive any condiments and they didn't come over to ask how the meal was going. Where I was sitting it was difficult to catch them too.

Anthony is an absolute gent who truly goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The food is delicious. Great atmosphere that is lively, and full of craic. Whether you’re dropping in for a bite or staying the night, The White Lady delivers every time. Looking forward to going back!

13/07/2025: Excellent stay for two nights. Rooms are so clean, fresh, updated and gorgeous Voya products. Huge bed, great air con and views of the harbour. Gorgeous snacks in the wharf bar. Would recommend any time!

11/07/2025: Genuinely one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Great location, superb welcome, room really clean and spacious (and very quiet!), food excellent, parking plentiful. I really can't fault my stay. Brilliant.

07/07/2025: Had a lovely roast dinner there on Sunday & the chef couldn’t have been nicer when I asked for something as my mother is 88yrs old & has a lot of allergies he was so helpful if my memory is correct I think his name was Peter so thank you & we’ll definitely be back 😊

04/07/2025: Popped in for dinner while staying in Glandore. Lovely spot with great views over the water. Food was great and staff were very accommodating. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Be sure to book a table, is a busy spot!

14/07/2025: Went out for dinner with my parents and children. The food was slow to come out. The wait staff didn’t take our order correctly. My stir fry was average, noodles were not cooked properly and chewy. We ordered prawns and mashed potatoes which apparently the wait staff never wrote down. I asked for the prawns again but the potatoes never came. We got the bill and it was incorrect. Staff weren’t bad but came across unbothered. My parents enjoy the oar regularly but we were disappointed. It is in a beautiful location with gorgeous views and my parents enjoyed their meals. (Fish of the day and fish and chips) Chicken wings were also a winner with my kids.
