I was expecting a rather expensive experience here but, to my surprise myself and my wife had a beautiful lunch of toasted venison sandwiches with relish as well as gorgeous bowls of soup.
The staff were truly beautiful people who couldn't do enough for us and we even made several purchases in the gift shop! Something I very, very rarely do.
My only complaint is that it's so far away from where I live! If it weren't I would most definitely be a very regular customer.
I can only hope that we get the opportunity to revisit at some stage.
Go raibh míle míle math agaibh to all at Ballymaloe.

23/10/2024: This restaurant is worth a stop off in the heart of the village and with the park so near plenty of parking.The food was to die for presentation and the desserts were so good enjoyed the decor and atmosphere. Upstairs toilet were v clean and there is a curtain shop.Outside dining too.

08/11/2024: Proper nice staff and food well worth the trip, spiders in the wallet after but no regrets about it! Great service from the bartender and also class to see the owner our pouring the odd scoup and chatting to the customers. Pours a dace Guinness as well, some head on it! Watch out the the Victor fella when your there, nothing but great chats and good times. 10/10 would recommend.
02/11/2024: Delicious from start to finish. Victor is a great host, explained the food and cocktail menu in detail and made us feel very welcome. These are amazing chefs who obviously use the highest quality locally sourced food and manage to make every mouthful an explosion of flavour. I'm salvating thinking about it - can't wait to visit again.

Came to visit Cork County - never thought I would accidentally find the best Garlic bread and burger! I would HIGHLY recommend for anyone traveling through or staying in Clonakilty. Service was great and they were all very friendly!

11/10/2024: We arrived as this place opened (they don't take reservations) and the place filled up quickly. Alice served us and was really nice. We had no complaints about the pizza. It's a chill and relaxed place and everyone was very friendly.

04/10/2024: The price is very reasonable and both tastes are excellent for the price;;;; This much hot dog and sausage box for just 10 euros...? This is something that needs to be invincible. There is a store inside the English Market and a little further away, but it is better to come here because there are plenty of seats. I'm satisfied with eating at the regular price, but if you have a student card, get a student discount with Baaaa. This snack shop is a ray of light in an island where there aren't many. I've been in Coke for two days and it came twice.
