20/08/2024: First time eating in The Waterloo, it did not disappoint! I got a delicious cajun chicken burger with fries, whereas my girlfriend went for a classic soup of the day.

Shauna was our server and she made great recommendations and was a pleasure to chat with.my wife loved the fish and I had great ribs. If your in the ares this is a pleasant spot to eat. 20/07/2024: Das Cat and Cage ist eigentlich sehr sehr groß, aber dadurch, dass es in viele Teile gegliedert ist, sieht es kleiner aus, es ist überall gemütlich und urig eingerichtet. Die Bierauswahl ist toll, mit vielen Gastbieren. Das Essen ist echt lecker und was am allerbesten ist: die Bedienungen sind freundlich und super aufmerksam, also keine Angst zu verdursten. Da kann sich das Porterhouse in der Temple Bar mal eine Scheibe von abschneiden.

03/06/2024: The place was very clean. The staff were very friendly. Our waiter seemed to be new but he couldn't have did more for us. The fish tasos were so fresh and the salad was excellent. The fries were up there with the best. I can't wait to go back to try the pizza. A great dinning experience.

03/09/2024: I just had the most delicious burger, it was perfect! The whole visit was outstanding which I really appreciate as a single diner. The floor manager whose name I unfortunately didn’t get was everywhere and still incredibly hospitable, well done. I must also mention Lexi, she was delightful. Well done to all.

01/09/2024: From booking to departing, this place operated like a caring machine. Effortless booking for a group, none of this pre-order crap! Welcoming, quick we had a group of 10 who were hungry. Every single mouthful was amazing, starters steak, wine (Bandol Rose was superb). Waitress Liana was superb, dealing with all matters a group can throw at them. 10/10

03/09/2024: We are here based on a friend’s recommendation. We were a group of several couples. The restaurant staff was very kind and accommodating. There is an extensive wine list. Everyone enjoyed their meals-special mention for the steak and bread pudding, which were exceptional. Located close to a lot of night life which made for a fun evening in Dublin.

06/09/2024: Really good little place I stumbled across. From walking in and the feeling welcome as a single dinner, to the food and drink selection you cannot go wrong here.

29/08/2024: Excellent restaurant at a fair price. The staff is friendly and puts you at ease, the environment is beautiful but also comfortable. The fish and chips are really good, the frying is light and not greasy, the chicken wings are delicious and tasty. The dishes are generous. Both at lunch and dinner the quality does not change. If you want to eat a few steps from the center and not go to the usual restaurants, this is an excellent alternative.

30/08/2024: A pretty good pint of Guinness. A good place to go for lunch. Go early. The fish and sandwiches are very good and reasonably priced for Dublin City Centre.

28/08/2024: One of the best bars in Dublin for a pint of creamy Guinness. Upstairs is a hidden bar oasis with a carpet! Sitting at the bar you might have a bus driver on one side of you and a solicitor on the other, a nice mix of the best of Dubliners. Not to mention old style proper barmen with service foremost in their minds. 5*

10/09/2024: Popped in here for brunch after arriving in Dublin. Service was quick. All the food was good. I would probably have preferred a smaller place with a better atmosphere as it was quite big and busy

07/09/2024: I don’t often write reviews, but my family’s experience at Delahunt was so disappointing and, frankly, unsafe, that I feel like warning other potential diners to avoid this restaurant. I’ll start with the positives: 1) they were able to accommodate a switch from the front table to a back corner which was much better for my dad who is hard of hearing; 2) the bread with butter and leek oil was fantastic to start; 3) the final dessert was interesting and flavorful. However, two out of three meat dishes were undercooked, including the quail and cod. We didn’t say anything about the quail since it was early in the tasting menu and such a small dish. The cod was so undercooked that it had a strong smell of raw fish when placed on the table. It was also very over-salted. We asked politely if it was supposed to be served raw in the middle and our server said yes. He offered to take the dishes back and cook them more, but we declined. Even if the dish had been properly cooked, the flavors were not great, especially with the level of salt. One of the courses resembled a granola bar with apple butter on it which tasted good but seemed like something I could pick up at a convenience store. Severely under-whelming considering this place has overall good reviews and a high price point. By the end of the meal we were all concerned about possible food poisoning given how under-cooked the quail and cod were. The lamb was certainly on the rare side but obviously appropriately cooked and the flavor concepts were much better than the other meat dishes. Fortunately, no one in my family got sick from the meal, but we should not have had this concern after a meal at a place of this caliber.

10/09/2024: Disappointed. The Ham and cheese sandwich was thin and boring. The Mushroom Soup (soup of the Day) was mediocre at best. The Irish coffee was so bad we dumped it out. The staff was awesome. Unfortunately the food was not.

10/09/2024: Ham and cheese was a thin layer of ham. Ask for double ham. Irish coffee as burnt old coffee. $10 a drink :(. I think they get away with being next to the Guinness factory for hungry patron
