04/05/2025: Dined here recently, best way to describe it is "OK". I wouldn't get excited about it or return. The food is basic cooking and expensive. The service is amateur and all over the place. Also...the restaurant is cold to dine in. Sorry but that's the way it was ..

20/04/2025: I only ordered for the 1st time tonight. 20/4/2025 my picky eating daughter finally ate her first 12 inch pizza and said she was full!! When she trys to enjoy the usual famous pizza takeaway places she can only handle 2 slices and gets a tummy ache 😔 But with comet woodstone pizza she grabbed the last slice out of my hand. She was ready to put up a fight! I only got to enjoy 1 slice! This will be my pizza place forever I randomly came across it and I'm so glad I did

11/05/2025: Very nice...sat outside and had a great club sandwich and some very good Sauvignon Blanc. Nice service too.

11/05/2025: Had a very tasty lunch, l had chicken Caesar salad & my partner had ploughman’s ciabatta both were excellent, we thought very reasonable too. Place was packed, lovely atmosphere and staff were very pleasant.. We would definitely revisit.

04/06/2025: Out of date Turkish delight costing >€10 so not happy in this expensive place where you never see the same staff twice?? And where no one knows how to reset the bread slicer??? Training needed for staff!

14/05/2025: Prices are absurdly high, even for Donnybrook. Good selection of cold meats, but it is getting increasingly hard to get service at the deli counter. They want you to buy prepacked.

05/05/2025: This cafe caters for everyone, so many vegan options and lovely coffee. The staff are very friendly and love to go here every once in a while - never a poor experience. Really cute cakes and pastries and nice atmosphere

28/05/2025: THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER, an absolute disgrace to the so called management. The restaurant was busy with a confirmation when we arrived which was fine but once the group of about 25 adults & over 20 children finishing eating, the restaurant turned into what I can only describe as a circus with both teenagers & younger kids literally running up & down between the tables chasing & shouting at each other. Children are naturally noisy & boisterous when they get together but we werent in McDonalds and not one parent told their kids to sit down or be somewhat quiet & no respect was shown for us and other paying customers who had trouble having a conversation because of the volume of shouting.While the staff had trouble accessing the other tables to serve food, we were amazed that the manageress watched on & did absolutely nothing to address the situation. When we complained she simply agreed that the behaviour in a restaurant setting was out of order & blamed the parents for not keeping their children under contol. I blame the management for their inaction in allowing it to happen. I have no problem with children's parties but I certainly don't want to sit in the middle of one to eat my dinner & pay restaurant prices for it.

18/02/2025: Tuve una experiencia muy decepcionante. Mi pareja y yo habíamos reservado para una cena un sábado. Tuvimos un mal presentimiento cuando entramos y vimos cuántas mesas vacías había, especialmente teniendo en cuenta que era un fin de semana de rugby. Mientras que nuestro servidor brasileño era encantador, la comida era sosa y carecía de sabor y condimento. Dejamos la mayoría de nuestras comidas en el plato. El encantador servidor preguntó si todo estaba bien con la comida. Expresé que estaba muy decepcionado, considerando las excelentes críticas que habíamos leído en línea. El servidor nos informó que el chef envió sus disculpas desde la cocina. Nos persuadieron a quedarnos y tomar cafés y postre. El precio de los cafés se descontó de la factura. Pagamos nuestra factura, dimos propina a nuestro servidor encantador y nos fuimos. Basta decir que no volveremos. Hacia adelante, haré búsquedas más profundas de revisiones fuera de línea.

20/05/2025: Food gone very poor came out way too quickly. Never a good sign, chips were soft, chicken was tasteless and bland price was ok and its a nice place
