The best restaurantsof irish in Dublin

11/06/2026: Glaushaus is very handy for Tallaght hospital or the Reeves centre. The rooms are clean with TV and tea making facilities. Ate in the bar and the food was inedible. Service was very poor and despite our 2 dishes uneaten we were not even asked if everything was ok.

01/06/2026: Our room was not cleaned, when we mentioned this they didn't believe us, so they came up to check, of course they apologized afterwards and we got a new room, but still. We had breakfast packed because our plane left early, but we shouldn't have because it was pretty poor (water, yogurt, dry oat bars, dry bread, butter).

03/07/2026: I would have given this establishment a far better raring only for the fact I ordered a pinot grigio wine,and I didn't realise until I studied the bottle it was from Moldova and was only 10%. I have nothing against Moldovan wine,but it should be priced accordingly. Talk about pulling a fast one. I don't buy in to that. Very disappointing 😞 😕

29/06/2026: Best option in heuston station, could do with a bit of a makeover. Ps had carvery lunch lately, was excellent, good portions and quality.

05/10/2025: Had a lovely meal on Sunday. Staff are fantastic. Make sure to either book a table or get there before 1pm as it fills very quickly. That's the only quibble I would have.

01/10/2025: Great pub. Many's a pint had there.Never ask the owner for a bag of ice as its very precious to him.

03/07/2026: Was suggested by a friend to call in on our way to a show at the 3arena (point depot) and was thankful he did. Im now going to visit everytime im in dublin for a show/event. Lovely food, nice chill atmosphere, AMAZING guiness and good value. 10/10 😋🤘

27/05/2026: As I write this I am fresh off a proper pissed off day in the Copenhagen airport. This is my first time in any one of the “right side driving” civilizations. There is nothing like an ice cold craft beer and a pizza so delicious it tastes straight from heaven. They make you wait but what good ever comes from immediate gratification? The world is full of light and beauty once again thanks to this place. Also the music rules keep playing massive attack and the cure and Morrissey please

27/06/2026: Had brunch today 28/06/2026. Horrible experience, payed my bill at the counter by the waitress. Went to leave and a different employee asked had I payed the bill I said yes and had a receipt but the waitress had made a mistake and charged the wrong table. There was a discrepancy of 3 Euro on there side, but they insisted I pay again and they will refund me which I won't receive until next week. There customer service was awful

01/07/2026: This is a hidden Irish gem, serving fresh Irish food, reasonably prized food and drink. Staff is very nice, reasonable prizes of drinks unlike city centre. It is mainly attended by local Irish people, so if you are looking for an autentic Irish gastro pub this is the place to visit. It is located next to the stunning National Botanic gardens- must see for the tourists. Enjoy the beautiful nature in the Botanic Gardens and drop by next door for Irish food and live music. It has a nice car park in the back of the pub, so feel free to drive.

28/07/2026: A very bad dining experience... certainly the worst we've had in the five days we've been in Ireland. We came for dinner around 8 pm, asking to eat outside. Several tables were available, but we were refused, told that all the tables were taken. So we sat inside, and about ten minutes later, many outdoor tables became available. The previously available tables weren't reserved, as they remained empty all evening. In short, incomprehensible! We ordered two Caesar salads, which unfortunately weren't to our liking. Too much dressing, not very good, and the chicken pieces were mediocre. Finally, when the bill arrived, a service charge was automatically added to the bill (see photos) without us having a choice or any indication of it. To avoid making a fuss, I paid the charge, but this practice is appalling. With all the good competitors nearby, make your choice with full knowledge of the facts.

27/07/2026: Ideal for a quick bite if you're downtown. Well located and central, with good service and fast service. As a tip, and to keep the bill down, we ordered the house water, which is customary and they don't mind you asking for it. The food was varied and delicious.

13/07/2026: Come for the beers, which are excellent with a wide selection, otherwise the service and food leave something to be desired.

29/07/2026: Had a really nice dinner here, a little expensive but it's a Castle so you get what you pay for.. staff were very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend it.

14/07/2026: Nicest pint oi guinness in Dublin by a country mile. Derek early shift in the bar, 100% consistency a pint of cream.a few of the younger lads are very good aswell.

19/07/2026: Amazing place! The service was quick and efficient, and the whole place has a nice, cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to help, making the whole experience pleasant from start to finish. The smoothies were absolutely unreal—fresh, delicious, and definitely worth trying! I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back again

10/07/2026: Cafe would want to review their prices. €11.90 for a breakfast roll with Sausage, Bacon, Pudding and Egg and a can of Coke.

27/07/2026: Our experience at the Camden was disgraceful. After leaving, we realised our jackets had been left inside. We repeatedly asked the staff if one of us could briefly re-enter to collect them, or if a member of staff could retrieve them for us. Both requests were refused multiple times, with no attempt made to help resolve the situation. When we asked if we could return after the venue had closed to collect our jackets, we were told they could not guarantee that we would be allowed back in or even that our jackets would still be there. It was unbelievable to be left with so little reassurance regarding our own belongings. The only reason we got our jackets back was because Jimmy Rabbits kindly allowed one of us to enter through their premises to retrieve them. Without their help, we would have been left without our belongings. The front door staff was appalling. We felt undermined and our character was questioned for no reason. There was a complete lack of professionalism, empathy, or willingness to assist with what should have been a simple request. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this venue to anyone. Disgraceful service from start to finish.

26/07/2026: Very poor experience. Expected better from the so called premier sports bar in Dublin

07/07/2026: Had the worst experience this morning with a rude staff member. Used to come here with my family, do not feel like coming back. Unreal. My child had a summer activity to attend this morning, I had to go to work and I intended to pay for my child 's breakfast and run to work. The staff member didn't let me speak, her body language was "commanding", "you do what I say!", she was busy, but not busy enough to find time to come back and in that commanding tone of voice and unpleasant face expression to tell us to sit at a different table .... apparently we were taking too much room in the place - the two of us were sitting at a table were were 3 sits....Staff is the key.....

06/07/2026: Why is vaping allowed in the bar? Most times when I visit there is a man sitting at the bar vaping in front of the bar staff. It should be banned like in most other pubs. I tried to ring the pub to ask but gave up at the phone is never answered.

21/06/2026: Had 2 rounds and cost about €7 per person i would sit inside though the outside chairs arnt verry comfortable
