10/11/2025: Its not one of the highest rated afternoon teas in Dublin for no reason! Can't fault anything. Usually theres something on one of the tears I dont enjoy at an afternoon tea, but this was the first time i enjoyed everything! Tea/coffee selection was really good, though I have seen larger menus. I highly recommend

26/09/2025: Fantastic. I had never been to an afternoon tea before, but my wife scheduled it for her Mom. Not cheap, but everything was wonderful.

12/08/2025: El ascenso llegó justo a la hora de apertura del almuerzo, así que más o menos tenía elección de asientos. En un comedor amplio y acogedor. Precio fijo El almuerzo de 3 platos fue acogedor y todo estaba delicioso, con bebidas frescas. Terminado con café y capuchino. El personal era encantador, desde la bienvenida hasta la salida. Así que en resumen un agradable interludio.

26/07/2025: Tuvimos una deliciosa cena en Fallon y Byrne comedor. El menú incluía 3 copas de vino cada una, especialmente elegidas para complementar cada plato. En realidad una gran relación calidad-precio, especialmente por la calidad de la comida y el vino. El servicio desde el saludo a la llegada y durante toda la comida fue impecable. Definitivamente hecho para sentirse especial, pero todavía un ambiente agradable muy relajado. Absolutamente recomiendo una visita.

Cold welcome, unfriendly service, and very disappointing food. The fish is passable, but the fries were barely cooked. Everything is wrapped in layers of paper so thick that within a minute, everything becomes limp and devoid of any crispiness. For a fish and chips place, this is the height of absurdity. A failed experience from start to finish.

19/10/2025: Kind and friendly, they also recommended lots of places to visit and drink good beers. Generous portions and delicious food. It's a shame we couldn't order directly from them.

16/11/2025: Unfortunately, the staff weren't very motivated in the afternoon and seemed a bit overwhelmed. There are definitely better pubs in Dublin.

05/11/2025: We chose this place to try fish and chips. We liked the atmosphere and the food. The waiter was attentive and polite. Keep in mind the 10% table service charge, although it's already indicated on the menu. Wide variety of beers; we'll be back.

10/09/2025: The food in the bistro, corned beef, was the best I ever had. The chicken salad I had later in the pub/restaurant was the best salad I have ever had. I would be happy to just eat both of those things for the rest of my life.

18/08/2025: Staff not very welcoming apart from the lady who welcomed us upon arrival, room not exceptional considering the price and breakfast which is pitiful to see. Behind the character of the building, there is not much. Proximity to the road very noisy and no air conditioning in the rooms.

05/11/2025: Popped over from old blighty to catch up with my Dublin buddies. Great place to meeting and socialising. Beer and food was good and plentiful bit expensive though.

23/10/2025: I haven't been to Brady's since around 2019. However, I'm still writing a review for this place in 2024. Why? They have the best chicken wings I’ve ever eaten! I can't tell you in words how surreal the first night I had these chicken wings was. It was a late night in Ireland, my first time ever being in the country, and outside of the U.S. ever. Me and my family were staying in the area, and had seen good reviews so we decided to stop here after a long day of traveling. I was in a chicken mood for majority of the trip, so every restaurant we’d stopped at I decided to try their wings and see how they held up. The wings here were so much more than I’d been expecting. They were sweet and spicy, however they weren't overpowering and were just enough for me to finish all of them. The wings themselves were so fresh and crunchy as well! It may sound overexaggerated, but I really would fly all the way back to Ireland just to try them again. I’d also ordered some crispy duck as an entrée and it was delicious! So flavorful. As we were leaving, we also spent quite a while talking to our sweet waitress. This restaurant not only has great food, but great atmosphere as well. I encourage everyone in the area to try this restaurant if they already haven’t!

22/10/2025: Decent food but starting to become over priced for what is offered. Hard to get service and food takes a long time on several visits.

15/11/2025: Went for dinner before a show at the Bord Gais Theatre. The service was absolutely brilliant, so friendly and efficient! Food was delicious and the restaurant was delightfully cozy on a rainy night. Such a good find, will definitely be back for more!

26/10/2025: We decided to have a take away and return to the hotel. By the time we returned, the fish was still crisp and golden, the batter light, the chips thick and fluffy. Simple pleasures, impeccably done.

02/11/2025: It’s actually called Bill Aherne’s. Beautiful bar!! And a quiet atmosphere. Just around the corner from the chaos. Bartender was charming and they serve changing times beer

03/10/2025: It is no longer called Fitzgerald’s. They no longer serve food, so no restaurant/ food service. You can still sit at the tables in the old restaurant section but it’s now quiet/desolate back there. Still good as a pub. It is in transition from Fitzgeralds to Billahernes, I think this is the new name is, or what my payment posted as. . Expect now to pay what you would at the surrounding pubs, the Fitzgerald’s pricing edge is no more. The barkeep was friendly and attentive.

06/11/2025: Cocktails were the only good part of this dining experience was rushed by staff to order and our waitress was incredibly passive aggressive the atmosphere was acceptable but they were playing pop music that no way fit the vibe I ordered the chicken burger and truffle and Parmesan fries the burger was wet and soggy at the bottom and the fries didnt have much flavour or Parmesan overall I wouldn’t come here again
