08/03/2025: I've been to my fair share of pubs and this is favourite. I always feel at home. Amazing service and they've started doing food which is tasty and fast to hit the table. The benchmark of Irish pub is set by this fine establishment.

25/02/2025: No music on when we visited, which was a shame as we had heard this was very good Atmosphere was Ok though. Food good, service very quick.
09/02/2025: We came there and wanted to order just sides with the drinks and were informed if we wanted to sit there we needed to order the main dish. It is a strange rule and as we understand it we had a feeling the waitress was upset by us, and she did apologize but her tone of voice was just so disrespectful. And one of us recently had jaw surgery and couldn't eat anything else but soup. Never going back.

14/03/2025: I've stayed here several times for work. It's a nice walk through the park to the office. The rooms, breakfast and evening meals are all pretty good. There are several pubs and restaurants close by if you fancy eating out. The air conditioning was a bit noisy on my last visit but they moved me rooms without an issue after it became clear it couldn't be quietened.

11/03/2025: So difficult to know where to start - cause everything was prefect!!! We were there on a busy Saturday night, of course there were a few small issues but nothing that you wouldn't expect. The team are so professional and welcoming - would deffo recommend this place to anyone visiting
11/03/2025: Such an amazing time last night - was dining with friends and everything was lovely .... greeted with such a warm and friendly welcome ..... fish was a little undercooked for my liking but we spoke to our server and this was sorted straight away without any hassle ..... can't wait to bring Himself back for a special evening

13/03/2025: Shown to a table by member of staff, it wasn't a particularly friendly or warm welcome. The place was pretty empty.
We ordered drinks but not food. The drinks are overpriced.
The staff member was rather unpleasant and bitchy, he kept scurrying to the corner behind us to snipe and gossip with another staff member. It felt uncomfortable.
The toilets were down several sets of stairs, signs up everywhere about customer only toilets.
We liked the live music, only positive.

18/03/2025: We had a wonderful time this St. Patrick's Day weekend at their place.
The pint prices were more than reasonable despite the event, and the food, sourced from a nearby restaurant, was also good.
The service, as well as the staff, was great every time we came, and we also thank the two people who handled the starters, Michael and the other person whose first name we didn't get.
We recommend this place for a great time.

Lord Mayor's Lounge

13/03/2025: Extremely disappointing service at the Lord Mayors lounge for afternoon tea - rushed us out the door before our allocated time was finished wanted payment before we were finished, rude staff - when I brought it to hotels attention they brushed it off - won’t be returning and was a regular customer - service has gone downhill. It’s a pity as food and decor are fabulous

Ninguna palabra puede describir una de las mejores experiencias en té alto, donde la atención al detalle, el excelente servicio al cliente, el excelente té, los sándwiches y los dulces se mezclan en una experiencia. Lo recomendaría encarecidamente a cualquiera que se aloje en el Shelbourne o trate de hacer su estancia extra especial en Dublín. No solo se encuentra en un hotel precioso e histórico, sino que la habitación y las vistas de Stephen's Green valen la pena. Recomiendo hacer reservas con antelación y que funcione en su itinerario!

18/03/2025: A friend and I popped in here for several pints having completed the Aware Harbour to Harbour walk on St Patrick's Day. A lively atmosphere and charming bar staff. Just be warned - they don't serve food here any longer. But the Guinness is great!
