08/12/2025: Of all the pubs I've been to in Ireland, this was one of the best in terms of atmosphere and options. We had a group of about 7, but like with most other pubs it was harder for everyone to talk and be heard by each other. The pricing was surprisingly great, considering the location. The small plates that we all got were a bit smaller than we expected, but the food was great either way.

05/12/2025: Great drinks and atmosphere. The staff is amazing, definitely a must visit place for casual drinks or dinning.

10/01/2026: Great restaurant. Always has different specials that are varied and delicious. The menu can be mostly done gluten free which is amazing. The atmosphere is very good and the staff always friendly. The restaurant is a one minute walk from the seaside where you can walk away the dinner after.

06/01/2026: I booked Delahunt three weeks before my wife’s birthday on December 28th and answered an email on Christmas Day to confirm the 1.30pm booking. When we arrived, the restaurant was locked up with nobody inside. We rang the phone number, but there was no answer. Given the time of year, most restaurants in the vicinity were closed, and we ended up eating in a place that was fine, but not the kind of venue you’d choose for a special occasion. On our way back to the city centre, we saw the lights on in Delahunt and people inside. Enquiring as to what happened to our booking, we were told by a senior looking person that he didn’t know about the reservation system and he would get back to me by email with an explanation. No such contact has been made. I sincerely hope that anyone who decides to visit Delahunt is not subjected to the same shoddy and couldn’t-care-less approach that we have experienced. The restaurant had three weeks to cancel my booking, but did not have sufficient regard for their customers to do so, or to follow up with an explanation or apology. The Delahunt website says that no shows to the restaurant will be charged €20 a head, which seems eminently fair. It’s telling that they don’t hold themselves to the same minimum standard of behaviour, having done a no show themselves on our reservation.

06/01/2026: we had eight people, and we’re given a private room. Our server was French and an excellent knowledge of the food and wine pairings. The food was first class. The restaurant deserves a Michelin star

19/12/2025: Love this little hidden café near the Four Courts. Great coffee paired with genuinely friendly, efficient service. It’s a popular spot with the legal crowd, and it’s easy to see why — smooth, high-quality coffee, a lovely selection of pastries and light lunch options, and very reasonable prices. The space is airy and welcoming, with a charming nod to the building’s history (look for the old Medical Mission sign). A small place but well worth seeking out. ❤️🫶🏿

Precio fijo El almuerzo de 3 platos fue acogedor y todo estaba delicioso, con bebidas frescas. Terminado con café y capuchino. El personal era encantador, desde la bienvenida hasta la salida. Así que en resumen un agradable interludio.

18/01/2026: I visited The Exchange Bar & Restaurant, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting – just the right place to grab a bite and relax after a day of sightseeing in Dublin. The interior is modern and stylish without being over the top, and there's a nice vibe that's perfect for a relaxed dinner or a get-together with friends. I really enjoyed the food. The menu was varied, and the quality was excellent, in my opinion. The burgers and traditional Irish dishes were particularly delicious and well-seasoned. The portions were also quite generous, so I was definitely satisfied afterward. There was also a good selection of beers, cocktails, and other drinks, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The service was friendly and attentive. Even though the restaurant was busy, we didn't have to wait long to be served. The staff took the time to answer questions about the menu and seemed very professional overall. I would definitely recommend The Exchange Bar & Restaurant. It offers good food, a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service – a nice place for a relaxing evening in Dublin.

04/01/2026: Excellent neighborhood pub that has the merit of being welcoming and showing sporting events. I highly recommend it. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. And the prices are more than reasonable.

01/02/2026: Typical Irish pub, very nice. We went here for lunch; there were seven of us. Some dishes were very good, others not so much. You have to get a table and order at the bar; when they have it ready, they serve it to you at the table. It took almost an hour to serve us.

28/01/2026: If you are looking for good, this isn’t the place. The pic of Fish & chips may look good but it was warm and soft, nothing crispy, they may be under heat lamp for a while. As for the lamb on the dry side.

30/07/2025: Gorgeous restaurant, we just had pizzas and drinks at the bar which were so delicious. I highly recommended the margarita.

29/07/2025: Lovely place, great cocktails. Pizzas delicious, would steer clear of the ravioli. Two of our party had it and both didn’t rate it. Tasteless and more like a soup broth with a bit of pasta thrown in.

05/01/2026: The food is good, the mussels and venison were excellent , selection is ok, there should really be a white fish on the menu. The service is very pleasant but a bit hit and miss, there was a mix up with our order but the dealt with it very professionally. Beautiful room but if it isn’t too busy it can seem big and cavernous. Worth a visit.

20/12/2025: I used to really look forward to eating at Hartleys but was really dissapointed when I ate there recently, the service is slow and it was a major effort to try and catch waiters attention to order between every course, my food came before the drink I ordered, food is ok but burger is 24 Euro and Squid starter is 16 Euro, its way over priced for fairly mediocre food, I hope they improve as I used to really enjoy eating there
