23/11/2025: A crappy restaurant where privacy is not respected, they made me give them absolutely all my card details just so I could make a reservation with them...of course I went with them to Mi Casa, if they don't want to receive me I'll go somewhere else...when I gave them €50 to guarantee the reservation they refused, they only wanted my card details...shame on you!
P.S. I came back with pictures, so they don't say I wasn't there....a very damaging policy on their part, they're going to lose...
20/11/2025: Amazing cozy restaurant serving the best seafood in the city in my opinion. Best oysters in Dublin by far and their fish and chips is also the best I’ve had in either Ireland or the UK. Very helpful and friendly staff as well. Make sure you book a table in advance because you more than likely won’t be able to just get a walk-in, that’s how you know it’s good :)

10/11/2025: Good honest food. Good portions and tasty. Nothing too fancy but you won't leave hungry or dissatisfied. Area outside to the front welcomes dogs so we will often eat here after a long cliff walk. Our doggy also enjoys the experience!!!

But yesterday 9/11/25 the dinner wasn't good a cheaper cut of beef , burnt Yorkshire puddings maybe this is down to a change of chef ! Very disappointed I'm a returning customer for many years but time to try somewhere else for carvery

The service was excellent (always liked a little chitchat and a warm welcome) and the food pleasantly surprised me.
I ordered fish and chips and oh boy - it was an enormous piece (palm sized!) of delicious, well cooked and tasty fish!
But the best part were the peas on the side - I don’t know what they did, but these were stunning: well seasoned and delicious.
The interior looks like a bit like a fancy dinner place (and maybe it is), but to me it felt a bit off. The beers, fish and chips and the overall vibe of the cafe does not match with this presentation, but that is probably just me.
Enjoyed my visit and will be happy to stop by again, should I be in the area!

06/07/2025: I had the fish & chips special, which was delicious, along with a glass of cava. The two went great together. Also tried a mango / passion fruit tart, which was amazing! The place is cozy and the service is great. Had a lovely time!
04/07/2025: I saw the summer special for fish and chips and a glass of cava for €26 and decided to try it. The service from when we got there was great. We placed our order and the food was out in under 10 minutes. 2 cods were on the plate but I’d say the star of the dish was the tartar sauce never had anything like it and the fish was super crispy. 10/10 would recommend and the cava pairing worked really well!
