23/09/2025: I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I booked a table and my calendar clearly showed the reservation at 5:15. I arrived a little early, at 5:00, but the staff told me my booking was at 4:00 and that 5:15 was actually the leaving time. That made no sense and stupid because no one should put leaving time in the boo king to make guest confused. To make matters worse, they told me they had tried to call me, but when I explained I hadn’t received any call, the staff changed the story and said my number was too complicated to dial. During this whole time, the restaurant had around nine empty seats, yet they still refused to let me stay and insisted that I leave. This is not the first time — just two days ago, I also came spontaneously when the restaurant was nearly empty, and they still refused to serve me. At first, I thought it might have been a misunderstanding of reservations , but after this second incident, it feels much more like discrimination, especially since I am Asian. There is no reason why a paying customer with a confirmed booking should be treated this way. It was disrespectful, unprofessional, and left me feeling unwelcome. Update : After being turned away, I went to a nearby tapas restaurant. Even though they were busy, they welcomed me warmly without a booking with Irish hospitality, treated me like family, and even introduced me to great food. Most importantly, they respected me. I am more than willing to pay a lot for good food and good service and this fish shop lost more than 100 euro for the weird system but I guess the staff there did not care much and the owner also. In conclusion, if you are looking for something authentic with a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, this place is ABSOLUTELY NOT the right option.

26/08/2025: A wonderful restaurant experience and the food is out of this world. Would HIGHLY recommend the chorizo croquettes for starters and the seabream for mains. The croquettes are huge and you get 3 of them. Golden and crispy on the outside with a smooth potato mix in the inside. The chorizo cubes added in gave it a wonderful texture and flavour and with a plentiful serving of cheese shavings on top and a bed of salad this starter is perfectly balanced. The seabream comes served in a deep dish. It had a really crispy skin too, which I absolutely loved. Served on top of new potatoes and fresh pak choi it's such a light, but filling, dish. Underneath the veg is a buttery/lemon sauce and plenty of caviar (fish roe), which adds a lovely pop of saltiness to the dish, it's truly a delight to experience such flavours. I was too full to have dessert but the table next to us did and they looked amazing. The staff were absolutely fantastic. So attentive, friendly and seem genuinely happy in their jobs. I cannot WAIT to return Drinks menu 10/10 Non alcoholic Erdinger 10/10 Food 1000/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Location 10/10 Staff 10/10 P.s I didn't want to be rude and take photos as no one else has their phones out but I definitely will next time. ***The reservation was under Brady, for 5pm 23/08/2025 but we were delayed by the crash so we were late***

13/09/2025: We often come here due to the fantastic service, high quality meals and value for money as the food meets expectations every time. The chefs in this restaurant are really good at their job and the service from staff is always top notch. Would absolutely recommend this place for a really nice meal and a good atmosphere, plus the odd bit of live music makes it a 10/10 spot for a lunch, dinner or cheeky drink. We will be back 😌

11/09/2025: We were at the Purty Kicthen for the specific cuisine tasting menu yesterday. Food, staff, athmosphere- everything was amazing. Will definetely be there again and again.

15/09/2025: I do not leave reviews very often, but Rudy’s was worth it. We were recommended this spot by a customer service agent at another store who said they had great food, and they were absolutely right. We stopped in for dinner on our last night in Dublin, and it was amazing. The food was top notch, the portions were filling, and the service made the whole experience memorable. The gentleman working and the young woman on staff were both so kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made us feel right at home. This ended up being one of the best restaurants we visited on our trip. It is clearly a favorite among locals, and even though we were staying near the airport, it was easy to get to. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Dublin.

12/09/2025: Great little restaurant in Blancherstown village in Ireland with gluten free options. We were on holidays in Ireland when we visited this place & we're very surprised. Service & atmosphere was superb.

21/09/2025: Last night, a friend of mine was celebrating his birthday and we couldn’t find anywhere to go. I explained the situation to one of the guys at the bar, and they set up two tables for us straight away, even though it was busy. Thank you so much for the amazing treatment! My friends and I had an incredible night, delicious food and great Guinness. 🤗 100% recommended for group dinners. Upstairs they have an amazing space with such a nice vibe. Thanks to Leticia and everyone at the bar downstairs. ❤️

17/09/2025: At lunch time we had great service from the proprietor with great recommendations for beer and food. However, when we returned for dinner, the survers were cocky & impatient. When the server came with the check she asked for a 10% tip which was inappropriate.

18/09/2025: This pub is an absolute gem and easily one of the best in town. It has such a fantastic, classic vibe that makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend checking out their Tuesday quiz night—it’s a blast and always a great time.

14/09/2025: What a delightful surprise to find such an outstanding spot just a short stroll from our hotel (Dylan Hotel). The Waterloo House delivered on every front—food, service, atmosphere, and that rare feeling of being genuinely welcomed. 🧅 The Onion Rings were a crispy, golden revelation—light, flavorful, and dangerously addictive. 🍽️ My wife’s dish? I can’t recall the name, but I do remember her smile. That says it all. 🍺 The beer selection was a standout—diverse, well-curated, and full of local flavor. The bartender guided us with care and offered a small sample to help us choose. I landed on the Wicklow Wolf, and now I’m on a mission to find it back home. It’s that good. 🎨 And just when we thought the evening couldn’t get better, we noticed the picture of Sinéad—a quiet, powerful tribute that added soul to the space. Whether you're in for a pint, a bite, or a moment of calm in the city, The Waterloo House is the kind of place that makes you feel lucky to have found it. We’ll be raising a glass to this memory for a long time.

01/10/2025: Went to this place for food. Didn't think bar food could be so good. It was plenty of food. Our servers were lovely. The two girls on front of house really took care of us without us feeling pestered by them. Ensured empty plates were quickly taken and offered drinks at appropriate times. I would definitely go here again. Losing an atmosphere star as the TVs at the front are a bit awkwardly placed. Could do with slightly bigger screens.

06/07/2025: I had the fish & chips special, which was delicious, along with a glass of cava. The two went great together. Also tried a mango / passion fruit tart, which was amazing! The place is cozy and the service is great. Had a lovely time!

04/07/2025: I saw the summer special for fish and chips and a glass of cava for €26 and decided to try it. The service from when we got there was great. We placed our order and the food was out in under 10 minutes. 2 cods were on the plate but I’d say the star of the dish was the tartar sauce never had anything like it and the fish was super crispy. 10/10 would recommend and the cava pairing worked really well!
