12/07/2026: Enjoyed our stay, friendly staff, comfy beds & everything spotless. Air conditioning was very welcome but no fridge in room. Food lovely in bar

03/06/2026: Lovely hotel with ample parking and facilities. Great food and drink offerings on site. Some improvements could be made to the consistency of housekeeping (shower gel left empty for 2 days, despite detaching it from the wall and leaving it in a prominent place; loo roll and tea/coffee not replenished on one day). Would stay here again for a Dublin trip.

20/07/2026: It's a cute place, but our waiter took a very long time to come up to us. We came in when there were 3 groups other than us, so it could not be that the place was busy. She just avoided us for no reason. She then had trouble hearing us (despite it being very quiet) and each of us had to repeat our order several times. Our food took an extremely long time to come and arrived cold, bland, and badly made. I ordered calamari and received rubbery at best, mostly shriveled, calamari inside over fried and overly oily batter. Not a speck of the promised seasoning was on it. One of our party ordered mashed potatoes and received fries instead too. We ordered 6 oysters as well and got only 2 of them. Overall a very disappointing experience, and I think we were right to leave no tip.

09/07/2026: Quick and tasty fish and chips. The portion is big, you will be full. Price is ok. No sitting oppurtity, so you can picnic at the park, with a company of seagulls.

08/07/2026: Go there if you want to get disrespected from the staff while you make an order and receive your order. Completely rude and arrogant both staff members serving in the front. It was so shocking to watch them be so disrespectful and rude to each customer for no reason. The vegetarian burger, €13 as shown below, I dunno know you judge for yourself if that’s worth €13. The chips on the other hand are good. I just don’t understand the extreme rudeness and unpleasantness.

05/07/2026: Absolute Disgrace—Avoid at All Costs I gave this place 1 star only because Google won't let me leave a zero or a negative rating. What started as a nice family dinner turned into one of the most humiliating restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. We sat down and ordered our drinks and starters first. While waiting, we looked over the rest of the menu for our main course but honestly couldn’t find anything that appealed to the family. When I politely mentioned to our waiter that we’d just stick to the starters and drinks tonight, he didn't just walk away—he literally ran to the manager. Next thing we knew, the manager marched over to our table and abruptly told us we had to leave. Before we could even process what was happening, they snatched our drinks right off the table. I was shocked but still tried to be civil, offering to pay for the drinks we had ordered. The manager’s arrogance was absolutely off the charts; he flat-out refused and just wanted us out. I have never seen a business treat paying customers with such blatant disrespect and hostility. If you want to be kicked out of a restaurant for not ordering "enough" to their liking, this is the place for you. Otherwise, spend your hard-earned money somewhere that actually understands basic human decency.

14/06/2026: Excellent experience overall. Group of 11 people for lunch. Set menu. Top quality food, selections and service. Highly recommended. Will definitely return.

20/07/2026: We had a private event upstairs in the Taphouse on Saturday and it was amazing. The staff were brilliant, our guests loved the food, and the Terrace and Glass Room were the perfect space for our party. Can't thank the guys enough for a great evening!

19/07/2026: We had our friend’s wedding celebration at the pub, and everything was perfect! The food was great, everything was very well organised, and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. A special thank you to Ana and Guilherme for all their support.

12/07/2026: Very nice pub to have a nice meal and a drink. I went with the beef and Guinness stew and to wash it down with a nice pint of Guinness. 10/10 for the staff working there, very friendly.

Once again, the organization worked well, from the welcome we received to the price we paid. The venue handled a group of sixty people without any trouble, and the pre-booked food at a fixed price arrived quickly. It got a bit chaotic at times, but that's fairly typical for an Irish pub of this kind. Overall, a positive experience, and one we'd repeat. It was the second time I've brought a group of students to this pub, following a first visit in the summer of 2024. This time, too, the organization worked well, both in terms of the welcome and the price. 03/05/2026: My first time at the bar, and it just stands out for me: friendly atmosphere, great selection of beers, and the people at the bar were friendly; made friends and conversations with the locals. Also, there was brilliant live music on the night I was there, and it has that real Irish feel to it. 🇮🇪

22/07/2026: Ordered Blueberry Daiquiri & get just crushed ice with rum & puree. I payed 12 euro (in a menu the price was 10) for a drink that was far from expected. When i asked a server to ask bartender regarding the drink, she just said that he is on break. Would not come back

29/06/2026: Popped in for a pint, two members of staff otherwise empty. Approached them at the counter and was ignored. They continued chatting and started to make a phone call. I asked if there was someone else who could serve me and I was told no and to wait. Walked out. Not spending my money to be ignored and treated like an inconvenience. Plenty of other good pubs around. Avoid!!

18/05/2026: No food. Ok pub but the servers are miserable. And the customers are so nice and they make fun of them behind their backs. That was the last straw. Also, why are you so miserable? Yeah, not interested in going back. Be kind. Won't kill yah.

02/08/2026: We went back here after a funeral, for some unknown reason they stopped serving us at 8pm said there was another party on, absolutely ridiculous what was a good day ruined, I asked around tables were we been annoying or putting anyone out. A resounding no was d answer....after taking alot of our money this was absolutely disgusting.....id avoid this place altogether...

19/07/2026: Had the best time here! Unexpectedly not too busy for watching a match. Go here for the beer garden - Outdoor area and staff is so nice!
