15/10/2025: The hotel the day this restaurant is in is beautiful. The restaurant itself wasn’t fancy but felt very approachable and welcoming. The food was great and I loved that they had a Slovakian tasting menu. We didn’t have it but my husband did have the potato dish from that menu and it was excellent. The pork chop that I had was delicious! The staff was so kind and attentive. The wine was really delicious. Great start to our Dublin vacation.
01/10/2025: The ambience of the Merrion hotel was exceptional. The restaurant was lovely with good food and the chef was excellent. The thing that let it down is the service. Not great for a uptown restaurant

28/08/2025: Really bad drop off from this place. Was previously my favourite space for lunch in Dublin.
Unfortunately with massive price increases and a drop in quality it’s not worth it.
Ordered the spicy Cajun sandwich and noticed they stopped putting any sauce on it. 12€ for a dry chicken and cheese sandwich is frankly a rip off
28/08/2025: I will never visit this place again and you should not, either.
However, if you decide to go there, you should definitely double-check your receipt here before paying. First I was charged 25.25 instead of 11.60 but realized only after swiping my card. Then they initiated a refund and charged my card again with the right amount (11.60), so I thought it was OK after all. I only realized on the next day (when the refund arrived) that they decided to "keep the change" and refund only 25.00.

12/11/2025: The best breakfast we had in Dublin! Amazing value for money. Great selection of meals, and the food was delicious. Super quick service, in a cozy cafe setting! The owner was the highlight of the breakfast - a lovely & funny man. Definitely recommend!

15/11/2025: They taste delicious, they feel homemade and authentic. We ordered the Hawaiian and the guacamole. They barely put any guacamole sauce on the burger. As an area for improvement, they would need better fries, as they're either not authentic or too thin.

02/11/2025: Was looking for a Sunday Roast in Dun Laoghaire. We discovered the Purty Kitchen and got a Sunday Roast++. Beautiful restaurant, loved the decor and mood. The food was just excellent, my wife's cocktail was excellent. Everything was presented beautifully. However, the staff are beyond excellent, which really made for a great experience. Probably had 5 different people serve us, check in on us etc, every one really warm, friendly and funny. They all seemed genuinely interested in us. I can't really say enough about them, but a very warm Thank You... you made our day great!
