The Winding Stair

Dublin
04/01/2026: The big bloke bald waiter with the tattoos was very Passive aggressive, when we ordered just some soup. the place is nice and has a good view but the service was terrible and looking at other plates the portions are very small for what you pay for. They seem to only care about how much money they make rather than the service and the food they sell. They acted like we wasted a table when they had 5 empty ones the whole time we were there. Very overpriced payed 24€ for 2 small soups and some water. then when it was time to pay he ripped the card out of my hands and when he gave it back to me with a paper to sign he scratched my hand. DO NOT GO HERE 💯
03/01/2026: Amazing food and wine. Recommend the Haddock.

Irish Potato Cake

Dublin
06/01/2026: Vegan potato cakes and Orchard Thieves Cider - what’s not to like!!! Cosy dining space, and very popular so be prepared to wait for a table at peak times. The food is tasty, the service is welcoming and it’s very good.
04/01/2026: During my visit to this restaurant in the centre of Dublin, I stopped by with my sister for a light meal and drinks. The small Irish breakfast was attractively presented and very well prepared, and the coffee with Baileys was of excellent quality. The service was professional and warm at the same time. the waitress was gentle, attentive, and made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. The overall atmosphere was calm, cosy, and inviting, making it an enjoyable place to relax. It was a pleasant experience overall, and I would certainly consider returning

Arthur Mayne's

Dublin
23/12/2025: Mayne's is a perfect local pub, and I loved going there during the six months that I lived in Donnybrook. It was a shame that they had to close the kitchen at the end of the summer, but it was necessary given that it was losing money. Most importantly, I was relieved that the pub has stayed open and continues to be an anchor of the neighborhood, with great pints and a very low-key atmosphere, as well as comfortable seating. The staff -- Alan, Fiona, Rodrigo, and Maria -- are friendly and extremely good at their jobs. They always made me feel welcome, and I'll miss going in for my usual.
17/12/2025: Great atmosphere and drinks. Staff are attentive and nice, and the place just feels cozy.

Pig's Ear

Dublin
13/01/2026: Loved every aspect of dining here. I ordered the boxty and coddle with a glass of wine. Dining alone isn’t for the weak but somehow, I didn’t feel lonely. My server, the owner’s daughter, was very kind and attentive. I felt like I’ve known this place for years. The food was delicious and I wish I hadn’t had 2 pints of Guinness at The Temple Bar Pub before arriving, to squeeze in dessert, but I was stuffed. I love that they didn’t skimp on the truffle with the boxty and sausage within the coddle stew was plentiful. The price tag is well worth the experience. I would go back again and again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, TWICE OVER!!!
17/12/2025: Fantastic meal at the pigs ear. All 3 courses were absolutely delicious plus the staff were super friendly and really knew the menu and history behind the menu well! We had a fab evening and are still talking about the Mulligatawny Pie 😆

Beggar's Bush

Dublin
15/01/2026: Great bar... just a stone's throw from Laviva Stadium for rugby matches... authentic Irish atmosphere... friendly and welcoming conversations with fans and staff... the cheapest Guinness I found during my stay in Dublin was €6... very spacious for large groups... well done and thank you for your warm welcome... highly recommended
24/12/2025: The Indian food truck out the back is great. The pub has gotten rid of all of its craft beer, even bottled. Disappointing.

28/09/2025: Very pleasant atmosphere, great service, and good food. For such an iconic place, it's not overly expensive compared to other places in Dublin.

Mister S

Dublin
11/01/2026: Mister S is my most favorite restaurant in all of Dublin. They are well known for their steak, but what impresses me the most is the thought behind each dish. Every sauce, dip and dish is carefully thought out. Flavour combinations are exciting and they really consider the entire experience of the meal. For instance, prawns and crab claws are served in a way they can be eaten easily, while ensuring they are presented beautifully. Desserts change every season but are always unique and so carefully crafted. Never a boring meal here. Oh, and do make a reservation.
10/01/2026: Amazing food and service. 10/10!

The Bakehouse

Dublin
03/01/2026: The brunch spot is very well located, and the staff are pleasant. The sandwiches are very basic, made with simple white bread; the brioches are good, but it's still a bit expensive for the portion sizes.
05/12/2025: Lovely spot, great food and friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

The Brass Monkey

Dublin
03/01/2026: After a lovely walk on the trails around Howth, we stopped here quite by chance… and what a pleasant surprise! The fish and chips were excellent, as was the curry with its Thai twist. A warm welcome and impeccable service. A place we highly recommend, well done!
02/01/2026: Excellent food, friendly and welcoming service, reservations required towards the end of service. A pleasant stop between a good hike in a beautiful area and the train station for the return trip to Dublin. Ultra-fresh seafood!

The Boar's Head

Dublin
18/01/2026: I've visited a few times this last year. Always a good atmosphere, good banter, we only had drinks, so I can't comment on the food. Toilets were clean and well kept. Staff are always friendly and quick service. Just ditch the mouthful of gum a male staff member continued to chew on. Not a good look🤨. Its nice to see, sadly deceased staff members are still remembered and acknowledged. And Con Houlihan will never be forgotten.
06/01/2026: The Boars head is a fabulous place for a pint and a bite to eat great atmosphere and a great spot to talk about all things GAA. Hugh and family run a great pub definitely worth popping in for a drink lovely seat right at the window to watch the world go by.

Craft

Dublin
03/11/2025: We had the Chef’s Menu at Craft and it was absolutely outstanding – incredible value at €39 for the quality and amount of food. You get to taste everything, and honestly, we couldn’t pick a favourite starter because they were all so good. We had the pork chop main - so good and as always the roast potatoes were unreal! From the brown bread right through to dessert, every dish was delicious. We’re so lucky to have this place in Harold’s Cross – can’t recommend it enough! The service deserves a mention too - really lovely atmosphere. Well done to all at Craft. We will be back soon.
11/10/2025: Plates full of flavour. Thanks you for lovely evening

18/01/2026: A cozy, classic Irish pub. The food was excellent and the lady who served us was exceptionally friendly. You immediately feel at ease.
